Part 126: Two hearts in one soul What a wonderful scene this one is! Carlos finally showing TK their home, which he has lived alone since their breakup. How often Carlos must have dreamed of this moment! And how often he must have cried to find himself alone there, without his love. They found each other again, they are reconciled, they finally found each other, the tear of their love of the last months is healed, they learned from it and they are in perfect symbiosis from now on. This scene, is the most beautiful scene I have ever seen in my life between two gaymen in a TV serie or a movie. As soon as they enter the house, they breathe the joy of being together again. We feel all the frenzy of Carlos who is eager to discover at the sight of TK, their love nest. Everything was thought by Carlos and arranged so that TK really feels at home. We can really see the nature of the two men. Carlos always calm and measured and planned, as any policeman should be in front of danger, and TK, more prompt and energetic and also often impatient. His nature fits well with his job after all, where he has to act always promptly because of the urgency he has to respond to. TK is impatient for Carlos to finally give him the signal to open his eyes and see their home. "Open your eyes!", Carlos whispers softly in TK's ear. "You're such a control freak." to say TK and Carlos who replies, "Yeah, yeah, shut up!" We understand immediately by this exchange, that the pain of the distance between them is no more. They also found all the intimacy they had before their rupture. How beautiful they are! They look like two children on Christmas morning in this ultimate moment which marks the beginning of their life together. TK finally opens his eyes and scans their home with his eyes. "Oh my God!", in the tone of his voice but especially when he brings his hand to his mouth, we feel him moved almost to tears for a split second. Then he expresses his joy that everything is beyond what they had surely imagined when they first visited the place. And the low tone of TK's breathless "Wow!" of everything he sees at once reveals his dazzlement. He slowly discovers, with his exercice bike and his blanket on one of the chairs of the living room, that Carlos has already moved his personal belongings into their house, between the time of TK's return from his near-death experience and his discharge from the hospital. When TK asks Carlos if he robbed his old home to bring in his personal belongings, in the background of this moment, we hear Carlos' laughter, and that laughter is so real and right, that we swear we're in real life and it's Rafael and Ronen who are really entering their home. The two caracters almost merge with the two real people so well acted is this scene. "You moved me in!", says TK. "I moved you in!" replies Carlos. "Moving sucks." This expression of TK's seems to carry all the emotional charge of the incredible futility of their misunderstandings and also the pain he caused to Carlos by leaving him. And Carlos erases it on the spot by telling his love, "Welcome home TK!", his voice tied up with emotion because he has hoped so much for this moment for them, and he doesn't want there to be any regrets of all this bad dream because he too, somewhere, has hurt TK and he wants to live the new chapter of their love smoothly. Then, TK moves towards his love. What a beautiful kiss! I love it when TK slides his soft left hand down Carlos' cheek. And I love even more when, with his right index finger, TK accentuates the message to Carlos "you are the world's biggest control freak, right?", as if to lecture him. We did not really know where they lived for certain until TK mentioned it in this episode. We never got to see the communication between them when TK shoved Carlos, all we got was no one needs to apologise ( I prefer to differ with that one). I don't mind if it is TK centred as TK is the one who has the apologizing to do.

They need to cut some scenes bcus of time duration. But even with this one it's already good enough. It's obvious they already resolved their issue well off-screen so we'd just jump into more important ones.
I thought the same… I personally found episode 3 kind of a waste. If they wouldn’t have wasted time with some irrelevant side story, maybe there would have been time for such scenes. We also didn’t get any scene with Owen and TK, although there was a promotional photo of it!

I just hate how the writers are always like BOOM they're back together you don't have to see them communicating it's not important. Also yes I do like TK's relationship with his father, but I'm fed up with him he already has half of the screen time so no I didn't really think of that. I was actually very very happy that Carlos was the one with TK when he woke up.

I mean I know Rob Lowe is a big deal and he actually is a great actor too but sometimes it’s just too much about him. I guess the reason they cut his scene with TK out was because we already saw a similar situation happening in season 1. And at this point, the relationship with Carlos was more the focus. These timeline jumps are however just agonising….

Every couple goes through tough times. The key is to go through them together. For so long, gay couples in TV and movies were portrayed with the stereotypical gay storylines; cheating, addictions, suicide and breakups. But this is the 2nd year, of the 2nd decade, of a new millennium, and damn it, there are lots of happy endings for gay couples. I'm glad these writers did not choose the stereotypical storyline, but rather gave TK and Carlos their happy ending. Now it's time to move on to the great stuff that relationships are made of; marriage proposals, weddings, and maybe even kids, hell, they already have a home. It seems we have fought so hard to have these things. It’s time to celebrate them. As a writer/author, I’m just thrilled by happy ending. I have so many gay couple friends who are living lives I could have only fanaticized about when I was a young gay man.
I love this scene! But, I’ve made this comment before…..when are they going to revel that Carlos comes from money. No way could he have afforded the place (even with the home insurance from his burnt down townhouse) and his previous place and his car on a patrol officers salary. I seriously believe his family has money.
I’m telling you what. This episode, especially the hospital scene, would have been the absolute ☠️ of me even if TK still woke up from his coma, but him and Carlos never got back together. (Would’ve been a major heartbreaker 💔.) I couldn’t even imagine. And now they need to become dads and get married 👨👨👧👦. They would be the best dads ever. I would love having them as MY dads. After seeing them with TK’s brother in his arms, I just knew. Also, I’m so glad that they got the firehouse back. I couldn’t even imagine what their lives would be like if they never did. Hopefully there will be smooth sailing for a little while now.
Carlos is legit the best. Do people like him actually exist in the real world? He is literally just so amazing. He's considerate, respectful, loving, passionate, loyal, and just all around really amazing. I dont know, do people like that really exist? Part of me kind of feels like he's just too good to be in the real world.

I thought the exercise bike burned up in the fire at old apartment?? Remember scene moving in TK says you don’t mind my exercise bike in the middle of your dining room? Carlos says it’s our dining room now TK!! Carlos shows TK he loves him by buying that place for them! I’m not sure how to react if someone sprung a surprise like that ? What’s your thoughts?? Is it a romantic gesture . Is it a reason to break up?? TK has told Carlos twice I Love You ! Once in scene 43 when he says: you don’t want to rub there noses in it! You don’t want to rub there noses in the fact that u have somebody who LOVES you and you supposedly love back! Secondly in the fire Carlos almost says it but TK grabs his face looks him in the eyes and says I Love You! I have not heard Carlos say the actual words! I think he needs to say it!

Every couple goes through tough times. The key is to go through them together. For so long, gay couples in TV and movies were portrayed with the stereotypical gay storylines; cheating, addictions, suicide and breakups. But this is the 2nd year, of the 2nd decade, of a new millennium, and damn it, there are lots of happy endings for gay couples. I'm glad these writers did not choose the stereotypical storyline, but rather gave TK and Carlos their happy ending. Now it's time to move on to the great stuff that relationships are made of; marriage proposals, weddings, and maybe even kids, hell, they already have a home. It seems we have fought so hard to have these things. It’s time to celebrate them. As a writer/author, I’m just thrilled by happy ending. I have so many gay couple friends who are living lives I could have only fanaticized about when I was a young gay man.

But, I’ve made this comment before…..when are they going to revel that Carlos comes from money. No way could he have afforded the place (even with the home insurance from his burnt down townhouse) and his previous place and his car on a patrol officers salary. I seriously believe his family has money.
I’m telling you what. This episode, especially the hospital scene, would have been the absolute ☠️ of me even if TK still woke up from his coma, but him and Carlos never got back together. (Would’ve been a major heartbreaker 💔.) I couldn’t even imagine. And now they need to become dads and get married 👨👨👧👦. They would be the best dads ever. I would love having them as MY dads. After seeing them with TK’s brother in his arms, I just knew.
Also, I’m so glad that they got the firehouse back. I couldn’t even imagine what their lives would be like if they never did. Hopefully there will be smooth sailing for a little while now.
Carlos is legit the best. Do people like him actually exist in the real world? He is literally just so amazing. He's considerate, respectful, loving, passionate, loyal, and just all around really amazing. I dont know, do people like that really exist? Part of me kind of feels like he's just too good to be in the real world.

Till date..Nothing...I dont think it was a power move to make TK joint owner,all he wanted was to make him feel home...But Tim recently confirmed in an interview that Carlos is indeed a controlfreak and that would cause further probelm in their paradise..so,probably they are building foundation for upcoming storyline...
