Excellent product knowledge dude. I had a GTR 1400 ( as its called in Europe ) and I learned stuff about it from this video that I didn't know when I owned one! Now I want one again. Great bike.
Excellent review! I used this review to 'inform' the salesman that sold me the 2014 I now ride. Were I in Texas, I certainly would have stopped by Mainland Cycle.
I have one and my only problem is keeping it bellow 100 mph on the road. it is an extremelly fast touring bike, and torque aloaf, all while giving you 40 mpg at 90 mph
Well done video, I see it has more improvement's than I was told. The 1st gear, windshield, seat etc are all nice touches on what's already a great bike. 👍
I think the "petal" brake rotor design is intended to save weight, not increase the size of the contact patch. But I do enjoy your videos of these new bikes. It's a great opportunity to see new bikes live and up close, plus an overview of new features. Thanks!
Wow, that's one green C14!! There's one thing this bike needs: cruise control. Every other throttle by wire bike (especially the big sport tourers) now have it.
Looks like it's only me then that likes the candy lime green! I have to agree with cott10r; I think the money for the key fob, would have been better spent on cruise control. Great bike though 👹
+robcig No throttle by wire system on the C14 and Kawasaki insists that this bike is too sport oriented to need cruise control. It also keeps the price down. Lol I can't believe that so many people are concerned about the lack of cruise control on this bike. If you want to go the same speed in a straight line all day then you don't need a bike like the Concourse 14. I would recommend a cruiser instead lol.
Whats the best deal I can expect to get for a late model Connie? I've seen prices range from 5k for a 2008 with 34k miles on it, and 11k for a 2019 with low miles on it, and $13k for a brand new one from the dealer. I want at least a 2015, but don't want to pay more than 10k out the door. Is that realistic? Or have to keep waiting?
the key fob/KiPass system is a joke, I dont thing 750lb pound sport touring bikes are hot on the thieving list, instead of the $$$ being spent on this useless system the $$$ should be used towards cruise control!!!
I picked up a non-abs (the best ones) 2008 last June, absolutely mint like new, 15K miles for $4000. I prefer the bodywork of the ‘08 & ‘09. These new ones, still without cruise control for $16K is ludicrous.
ok... but u forgot that i live in brazil and the diference of eacha other over here is about U$ 2000,00... a little information a concours 2012 and the zx 14 same year... the diference is what i told ya
Gotta respect a bloke that knows what he's selling 👍
Probably the best dealer walk around and informative for I've seen. Well done!
This is the best bike introducing video I have ever seen. Congrats man.
GOD BLESS YOU GUYS... & GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸
CRACKING DEMO AS ALWAYS, ON SECOND GTR NOW, FANTASTIC BIKES, WISH WE GOT THAT COLOUR HERE IN UK, GREAT VIDEO MAN,
Thank you for such a detailed review of the bike. For those of us who cannot buy new, it is nice to be able to know all the features.
Trigger button hold activates Economy mode. Mapping for better fuel consumption.

Im on my 2nd Concours, an 08, & an 18 , they are great bikes , durable, i do like that green, it's a sharp lookin bike...
I have one and my only problem is keeping it bellow 100 mph on the road. it is an extremelly fast touring bike, and torque aloaf, all while giving you 40 mpg at 90 mph

I'm not too keen on the green though 😜

Thkfast It's mainly for dissipating heat, not saving weight or contact patch...
Wow, that's one green C14!! There's one thing this bike needs: cruise control. Every other throttle by wire bike (especially the big sport tourers) now have it.
+TheToekutter The C14 is not a throttle by wire bike though...
Only if that baby had cruise control and electronic suspension... Very nice, well done intuitive video!
You can fit a Rostra CC unit i have one there great,
@@TheChristomba how complicated and expensive is that?
a useful amount of details about the bike. wish you could've continued. good job.
i own one they are awsome bikes ,comfy, fast, and reliable
Im on my 2nd Conny 14 , they are durable great bikes 👍
Incredible bike
really alot of info that i didnt know about the kawi thankx man
enjoyed learning about the Concours, thanks brother
Best video on my motorcycle
Awesome overview, but someone needs to create a drinking game for the times he uses the FOB or ignition switch haha. Great job! keep the vids coming!
Great video, lots of info...thanks.
Still, a very good review though. Thankyou for taking the time.
brilliant review!
Looks like it's only me then that likes the candy lime green!

Great bike though 👹
Yeah fuck the fob like wtf.
excellent video. tons of info .thanks Albert.
Any chance that windscreen will retro fit on a 2012?
I hope that new windscreen fits older models, nice bike but not too crazy about that green color
Was wondering that myself. But went ahead and replaced the stock shield with a V-Stream. Vast improvement over the stock shield.
Is Candy Lime Green available for 15' 1400GTR Europe model? my local agent said there's only carbon silver and black.
Great walkaround!
I wonder how many C14 owners don't know about that key fob trick for a dead battery.
Nice video 👍
I'm going to buy one
What's the proximity range of the key fob?
What happens if the key fob battery fails ie on a motorway key fob fails , key fob in glove box it goes flat your locked out ?
This video might be 5 years old but i learn't plenty .. Cheers
So why no cruise control?

Do older ones have the keyfob - battery dead - read the chip feature or is that new for 2015?
My owners manual for 2011 describes it. I haven't tried it yet.
Do you know if the revised 2015 Windscreen is Compatible with the 2014?
Keith Mann I would like to know that also
Yes it is
Looks like a zx14r set up for touring
Nice review!!!!
Good video, thanks
Hay ? What does the Kawasaki Concours weigh ?
670lbs.
I want this bike so bad😢
super sportouring bike
I don't think you mentioned the slipper clutch, but then again I wasn't listening that closely.
This would be a nice choice CycleCruza ... for another Motorcycle
Cycle Cruza is to much of a snob to ride an Concours 14
真想买一个
If they went with the key fob they should have gone all the way. It should have remote start.
Looks like its ready for a cross country trip
Cruise control?
I want one like that please
Yeah don't put that FOB in that compartment! Note the "no fob here" sticker, if that battery goes dead, your screwed
Let me guess. It’s sold and long gone long time ago
the key fob/KiPass system is a joke, I dont thing 750lb pound sport touring bikes are hot on the thieving list, instead of the $$$ being spent on this useless system the $$$ should be used towards cruise control!!!
and to think i just bought a 2008 with 26k miles for 3500....
I picked up a non-abs (the best ones) 2008 last June, absolutely mint like new, 15K miles for $4000. I prefer the bodywork of the ‘08 & ‘09. These new ones, still without cruise control for $16K is ludicrous.
Nobody wants that horrible Kawasaki green color.
Great bike except for that ugly green color.
Those back boxes in the uk will get knocked off same as BMW they stick out far to much for uk driving our roads are just to narrow 🙁
This is 2021... Right now you're about $8,000 too high
keyless entry lol...
too much ...dont need so many thing... tha´s why is so expensive
+nilo duarte its expensive lol? same as a zx14 basically with more stuff including warranty..3 yrs instead of one
ok... but u forgot that i live in brazil and the diference of eacha other over here is about U$ 2000,00... a little information a concours 2012 and the zx 14 same year... the diference is what i told ya
in us less than 499,00
bucks
Beautiful bike. I own a 2010. That green is so ugly IMO
