Here is my tip. You will thank me later. When you are finished painting dip your brushes in a jar with half Dawn dish soap and half Murphy oil soap. The oil paint will just float out. my brushes are like new , no matter how old they are. Robert I LOVE YOUR WORK!

Thanks for the tip, not sure those are available in France. Maybe there are similar products. I will keep them in oil to be safe!

This is an awesome tip. How do you get the paint out by the ferrule? That's where I can never get my brushes clean and they get stiff 😢
I can never get it all out either, so the oil bath is a winner for me.
