Hi Kathleen, Jenn and Amanda, Now being newly retired my uniform is dress for comfort (weather related)! Thanks again Kathleen for all your help the other day when I stopped into Yarnia! I truly appreciate all your suggestions, knowledge and your time spent on my new sweater project! Happy Knitting!
Summer uniform is self made linen sleeveless dresses, adding light sweaters like Ranuculus in spring and fall. Winter is long here in MN so jeans , turtlenecks, and hand knit sweaters, of course😂. Love your podcasts, been watching for years. The interaction between all of you is fun as well as the knitting! Keep it up. Thanks ❤
Jeans and a tank for the summer; jeans and a sweater for the winter. (Unless I have rehearsal, then it’s leggings and the corresponding top) It makes dressing simple. Also, what a cute dumpling cat!
My uniform is super boring, linen dress all year, add a cardigan in the summer and wool tights (snag tights are the best and come in so many colors) and a sweater in the winter. It’s nice not needing to change out wardrobes seasonally. I’m also a daily shawl wearer - I can’t regulate my own body temp well due to a genetic syndrome so a shawl is the perfect temperature moderator. While I love making sweaters I find shawls so invaluable! I’d love to see your faves or a shawl fashion show. Thanks again for great knitting and shopping inspiration!
I'm a professor in a college of nursing. For lab and hospital days, I wear scrubs and a lab coat. For lecture/office/meeting days, my uniform is very business casual. Usually, I wear either dark jeans or dressy joggers and a tank or fitted tee with a cardigan or a pullover (cold weather) or a light, linen blazer (warm weather). I'm a shawl knitter, so I put a lot of those into my cold weather outfits as well.
My year round uniform is stretch pants (long in the winter with a long sleeve sweater, and capris in the summer with a 3/4 length sleeve top. Kiziks on my feet! I'll mention that I'm retired and dress entirely for comfort. Thanks for a great episode! Loved the socks and sweaters.
All of your sweaters are so good! My daily uniform is a tee shirt and jeans, winter jeans and a sweater, wish they were made by me though😊😊. Thanks for a chance again👏👏
My uniform is totally seasonal! I work in a school so during the year it’s usually pants (or jeans on Fridays) and a collared button blouse with a sweater. In summer it’s a tank top and shorts and sometimes a summer sweater! And flip flops. For sure!🧶🧶🧶
My uniform depends on the season - in the summer it is shorts, a bathing suit or a summer dress, in the winter it is a knitting sweater and leggings or jeans.
Summer uniform is a pair of capris and a sleeveless top or tee. Winter is a pair of jeans or leggings with a solid colored top to pair with some knitted neck wear
My uniform is capris and a tee shirt in the summer and winter uniform is jeans and tee shirt. Love your podcasts. I wish I lived closer to your store. ❣️🧶
I moved to Florida last year so my. New uniform is cute shorts and tops, fun Florida print dresses with matching handbags to go out. Flip flop and sandals
Hi Ladies, I had to laugh when you said “uniform” I though my daughter and I are the only two that refer to our regulars as “uniforms”. My uniform for the spring and summer are sun dresses. If too chilly with a/c on I’ll toss a lightweight sweater on. I really enjoy your podcast. Winter is leggings usually black a cotton long sleeve shirt comfy but old have a few favorites and then cover with a wintry sweater.
Retired Healthcare worker. Then I lived in scrubs so comfy clothes are my preferred uniform. It's blazing hot in Te as during the summer so light cotton summer wear. Be it sundresses, shorts and tees. Basically weather specific wear.
My uniform for half my day is breeches and a collared shirt- I’m at the barn riding a few horses every day. The rest of the day is shorts or leggings with a tee shirt or sweater (temperature dependent!). I’m retired so I dress to suit myself 😁
I don’t have a uniform for the summer; I wear all of my non-winter clothes which includes dresses, pants, skirts, and woven tops. For the winter, I wear fleece-lined tights with a sweater dress or jeans with a sweater.
Health care worker here so I actually wear scrubs very often. When I’m not working comfort is the key. Love wearing dresses with a sweater thrown over.
My summer uniform is sundresses and sandals and then it changes to skirts and comfy tops in spring and fall and winter is whatever is comfortable and warm
My uniform is dark blue scrubs. I wear a dark blue long sleeved shirt, jeans and compression stockings before and after. Dull. Off work summer capri’s and long sleeved shirts. Winter jeans, long sleeved tees and a sweater. Haven’t finished one yet!
My first reaction was ... I don't have a uniform but then I realized I do. Jeans and a solid coloured t-shirt. Summer jean capris and short sleeved t-shirt or tank, spring and fall jeans and three quarter sleeve t-shirt, winter long sleeved t-shirt. Sweaters are added as needed (all year round) and/or wraps. I love the tessellated sweater (I'm not a vest girl) but I'm not ready to embark on such a big project. BTW I'm watching from Ireland today. There is the odd bit of sun popping in between the clouds ... and I'm wearing jeans and a long sleeved t-shirt with a hoody not a sweater.
My uniform during the day while dyeing yarn would be tshirt and shorts. Outside the house it’s tshirts and jean shorts. Winter jeans and different shirts or sweaters or hoodies.
I work 2 jobs and go straight from one job to the other so my uniform is neutrals and gradients. I wear the same 5 dress pants in brown, navy, gray and black all year long and since I'm over 60, lightweight material and short sleeves 😅
My uniform is jeans /black tights hoodie /tshirt , orange work vest , steel toe boots and orange hard hat.. some days I just do the orange overalls with a shirt! 🦺
My summer uniform is capris and a tee shirt with Birkenstocks. In winter comfy pants with a sweater over a tee, hand knit socks and Birks or if going out in snow boots.
HS Teacher - so I take any and every opportunity to not wear work clothes - my uniform consists of a t-shirt, joggers (thin for summer and thicker for winter) and sneakers. I'm a sucker for finding a comfy clothing item and purchasing it in every color.
My favorite part of every other Saturday!! Always fun!!! My uniform is a t-shirt and jeans, and a knitted item. I prefer winter! Is there any kits to build Amanda's shawl? Stay cool everyone! - kimberly
As a 100% Work from home person my uniform is comfy pants of any kind (yoga, sweat, pjs) and a business appropriate shirt! I’m sure my neighbors are confused by this when they see me out with the dog!😂
Love all your sweaters ladies🥰I’m always hot🥵😫so my uniform is shorts & t-shirts all year long when I’m inside & jeans and a t-shirt outside in summer & fall/winter!
Great digressions per usual!😂 uniform? Lightweight black joggers, oversized v neck tee, hand knit socks. No bra if not in public. Hair in a messy bun. “Cheater” glasses more often than not on top of my head. Great image!🤦♀️ Obviously if cool enough, a sweater!
