    As a diehard Packers fan, I never took the Lions lightly. They're legit and deserve respect. That's 4 wins in a row against the Packers. LaFleur demanding change is a good sign, but he's the head coach - make the change! It was a bad gameplan against a front like that and without Pro Bowler O-linemen like Bakhtiari and Jenkins -- where were the 3 step drops? Quick slants? We saw none of that. It was drop back, slow developing isolation routes like the old McCarthy days. Outclassed, outcoached and outplayed all around.

    • @thomasblock1164
      @thomasblock1164 Год назад +3

      Those quick slants are veteran qb plays. Presnap reads and really quick decisions. You guys are right where you need to be. 2-2 isn't bad at all. Your defense will improve assuming a bit better work against the run. You're going to have to run the ball a lot more to give Love a fair shake. I think he can be a good qb. Think Geno Smith. Solid. Matt's gonna have to go against his nature on the run plays, he seems to favor the pass. See you guys Thanksgiving.

    • @slipjones2
      @slipjones2 Год назад +4

      @@thomasblock1164why do you think the defense will be better? No new starters, no big changes from last year. Their d looks like the defense last year. Berry can’t scheme NEVER has been able to and as was pointed out it appears the offense also can’t game plan. You won’t win this way.

    • @thomasblock1164
      @thomasblock1164 Год назад +1

      @slipjones2 If you run the ball more, that can help the defense. The defense sells out to get pressure on the qb. If they play with more balance they will look better. It's still early, I think the Pack will have a pretty good year. 8 wins. Maybe 9.

    • @Dinesh-kj3oc

      What's ridiculous is Seattle showed you exactly how to win. They only got 39 rushing yards on us and were missing both starting tackles. But they still ran on occasion. They got the ball out of genos hands fast and they moved the pocket. Its like lefluer made the game plan for week 4 in the off season and just stuck with it the first half

Get that offensive line fixed so he has time. Love the young receiver corps. I had my concerns in the 3rd quarter, but the Lions maintained composure. I think Quay Walker, though talented, needs to get his head right. He has made major mistakes in the last two games with the Lions. I'm Looking forward to seeing the Packers at raucous Ford Field.

LaFleur will have some time and get a reboot with Rodgers gone and Love being the new project. So it may take a couple more years, not including this one for Love to to grasp the helms. However, LaFleur doesn’t have much more than that if things don’t progress fast because stagnant is not an option in GB! Love is good, I’m a Lions fan and see the skill but one man can’t do it alone. The GM and coaches have to draft well and be wary of signing big name free agents. Not a packers fan but do these reporters and journalists think before they speak or ask a question? Repeatedly asking vague generic questions that appear to have little creativity or thought provoking within them. I appreciate when the media asks well thought out questions that results in a unique response from the coaches. I’d get annoyed too especially after a loss at home on prime time to a divisional opponent that played more physicality and defeated you in all three phases. Like ask something interesting or a question that allows him to compliment or praise a player for their effort, performance or leadership. Maybe no such thing as a dumb question however asking questions that are obviously frustrating and likely already know the answer to is incredibly inconsiderate and insulting. Poorly asked or thought out questions deserve answers of the same quality. Then everyone gets offended and plays couch quarterback.

You caould see Love had little time to throw and the passing game is a work in progress.
