Its so awesome to look back when you're older to see how talented a lot of these creators truly were, they were so passionate about the content that they created. You can really tell, through the stories, props, and even the complex themes! This video was just as awesome and well done! :D

FINALLY SOMEONE TALKS ABOUT THIS. I was so obsessed with this series as a kid. I never knew anyone who knew about it so seeing someone talk about it makes me so happy. I rarely ever talk in the comments of people's videos but I felt the strong need to express how happy I am to see a video essay about LPStube (let alone someone who also enjoys Adorkable, that one is such a good show). Usually when people create videos about LPStube, it's mainly about the impact of Sophiegtv's LPS Popular video onto other viewers and creators and not really about how effective her storytelling skills are. With paying attention to details such as each character's backstory and how certain events and deaths can cause people to change, it's no wonder so many LPStuber creators nowadays create such a hard hitting story with merely some plastic toys. I'd highly recommend watching creators such as Hellostudios for high production stories and show designs. The time and effort people have put into their videos is honestly heartwarming to grow up alongside. I still find myself rewatching old shows like Collie Complications while I'm well into my final year of college. I'd also like to call up a notice that Sophiegtv does plan on finishing up the show sometime in the next upcoming year. She's never finished LPS Popular due to a car accident. The news was only really announced in her essential oils business' Instagram and a single comment in an LPS Popular review video. I'm happy that she's never really forgotten how she's practically raised a whole toy community within her RUclips channel, but I'm even more ecstatic to hear that she's healed well enough to do things on her own. I'd love to see more video essays from you in the future, it's so exciting for me to see other people who enjoy LPS, Animal Jam, and other goofy childhood media as much as I did (and still do!). Being in touch with my nostalgia in a discussion video like this makes me feel more confident in who I grew up to be and I hope others feel the same way :)

I really think it adds to it all how LPSpopular never got a proper ending. Alot of the times in real life, things don't get proper conclusions or closures. They sometimes just fizzle out gradually and you don't realize until it's too late, or nothing happens at all and the issues just uncomfortably hang in the air ad infinitum.

this series was transformative to me in so many ways omg. i was obsessed with it as a kid but it ironically led to me developing an eating disorder. looking back, the portrayal of eds isn’t that terrible but as a little kid those nuances didn’t matter. i just wanted to do what i saw my favorite character do and applied the insults against her to myself. i don’t think it’s entirely responsible for my ed though and it’s still so nostalgic to me, i watch back fondly even as a college student now. i’m also the furthest in my recovery than i’ve ever gotten so i think it’s long term this time :-) thanks for the vid!

I've seen a couple of LPS Popular reviews (2 lmao) but I've never seen someone make such a deep and meaningful theory about the show it honestly caught me off guard.

It’s so crazy because I watched her Queen series and had NO IDEA it was her !! I was super young and was just watching any lps series , and now seeing it was her and seeing the same lps she used in LPS popular in that series is crazy knowing what she does next 😭
this was the biggest wave of nostalgia to hit me in a long time and im glad im not the only person who appreciates the complex details of this shows from our childhoods
With the idea of Brooklyn's father's death changing her view of other relationships it makes me wonder if the reason brooke is so obsessed with being with sage could be because he reminds her of that positive role model that she lost because he treated her with a lot of respect and care

this series was transformative to me in so many ways omg. i was obsessed with it as a kid but it ironically led to me developing an eating disorder. looking back, the portrayal of eds isn’t that terrible but as a little kid those nuances didn’t matter. i just wanted to do what i saw my favorite character do and applied the insults against her to myself. i don’t think it’s entirely responsible for my ed though and it’s still so nostalgic to me, i watch back fondly even as a college student now. i’m also the furthest in my recovery than i’ve ever gotten so i think it’s long term this time :-) thanks for the vid!

edit i’m done watching and i of course teared up. i feel like girls who were part of or watched lpstube are my SOUL SISTERS. we are connected by little bobble head pets having made us who we are today. also how many of us want to go into film making because of lps? i do 😭i had an lpstube channel myself. anyway sophiegtv uploaded a popular episode 4 years ago, with the episode before that being 7 years ago. lpshannah said that because of youtube’s new coppa law she couldn’t have making videos be her source of income anymore. idk how exactly it is with coppa and money rn but she could easily make a lot of money because a lot of us are willing to pay her for lpspopular episodes. what this woman did with this one series is actually insane. like the way lpstube made us who we are is something else. and she’s the one who made it what it is!

no joke, this is how my parents discovered what youtube was. i was using my laptop and watching some of these lps story videos with my brother and the one we were watching ended with a cocker spaniel character being shot and killed (with the hair dryer accessory). we both started crying (we were like 6 years old) and our mom was like wtf are you guys crying about?? and was super confused lmao.
