I love what you said about directionality. I most often take note of that with the court cards, but your explanation of it for Death makes a lot of sense too. The lotus quote is great, I've never heard that before.
Yes, I love that ‘no mud, no lotus’ quote! 🪷 I’m a pictorial reader before anything, so the question, context, directionality and surrounding cards are essential for me to make sense of my readings.😊 Thank you for stopping by, Tye! 🙏💜
I felt certain Kali would show up somewhere in this segment. I spent almost as much time thinking about this card and selecting just the right examples as I did on the Hanged One. I don't need to see gruesome images for this trump - life has shown me plenty of that in the every day sense. but I appreciate a lot of imagery that illustrates death's sovereignty over everything that lives and breathes. I have one particular greedy skeleton riding backwards on a horse that I enjoy a lot. But for sharing my favorites, I settled on cards I really love that also chart a map through my spiritual beliefs and some mystical real life experiences. I will get that all settled in my mind over the weekend.
Yes, I remember being so thrilled when for the first time I saw Kali representing Death in the Sacred India Tarot! I look forward to seeing your selection of Death cards, Acey, as I very much enjoy the insights you share in your instalments and always love your choices! 🙏🏼💛
Great video Masha! I found very interesting your thoughts about stripping the situation down to its bones, and how we need to look at the bones of the situation in order to find a solution. I always learn so much from your videos! I must admit I too feel a bit sad that this series is getting closer to its end, I love the community I found through this tag and I'm always looking forward to watch everyone's videos. Hopefully we'll find new ways to stay connected 😊 sending you many blessings and lots of love! 💖
thank you so much for both videos :) my favorite Death cards are: 1. Little Prince Tarot (that card is beautiful and heartbreaking in the same time) 2. Rohrig Tarot (so aesthetic) 3. RWS 4. Charles VI 5. Ethereal Visions and the Golden Art Nouveau could both occupy my 5th choice :)
Yeah, I read tarot cards directionally and in a relationship with each other, which is the reason I need a minimum 2-3 cards to do my readings. 😊 Thank you for stopping by, Gigi! 🙏🤍

Jai Kali Maa! Thank you for this. I loved the way you described Lady Frieda Harris' art ❤
Thank you for stopping by, Sadhana! 🙏🤗 Yes, the ‘Kali’ Death is such a favourite of mine.. in fact the whole of the Sacred India Tarot is! 🧘♀️
