OMG that remote storage spell. I foraged over 600 reagents to get to 20 alchemist using the teleport to bank and run allll the way back every time. There is a storage rift at Sea Road which is up to 6 chunks away when walking back are 17 chunks 😭
What I learned yesterday from a YT comment: When your opponent attacks faster than you, after you start your attack animation, stand under it. This way the attack speeds are equalised and it becomes a matter of who has the best weapon and most health.
I forget where i saw it, but theres a shop that will upgrade your tools in episode 1, i only had a fishingspear but every time u level the tool up you get 0.4% more exp with it. So after 10 level ups on your tool can be 4% better. But it is expensive i think the first level up is 55 silver and it goes up everytime.
I'm hopeful for it. It's really nice at its core. Hope they add more multiplayer features, drops with rarity, QOL features, etc. I can see it lasting for many years if they take care of this. Edit: also changing that darn menu that pops up with every action. It's nice being able to attack enemies with one click in OSRS.
Its about 1 hour per pack for AFK activities that require materials and there seems to be a hard cap of 24 hours of AFK time. So one basket of branches will take about an hour to turn into the next material. And you do need those Buckets/Baskets/ Whatever in order to actually do the activity if it creates the new items (Like fishing consumes buckets of Slugs, and gives you boxes of Fish, so you need the Boxes in your toolbelt) You can AFK woodcutting with baskets in your toolbelt to get branches that can then be used to AFK carpenter, or as seen the resource merchants will also sell those AFK materials outright so you are not forced to gather the slugs for a few hours in order to fish for a few hours. Of course there tends to be a loss of money for the "artisan" skills.
From all the tools Ive used so far, the pickaxe was the first one I was able to find for free when first entering the mines. Feels bad you spent the silver on it lol
A easy trick for the first combat levels in a new zone is to use the potions to attribute you attacks to the enemies weakness, health potions also come in pretty clutch.
There was an update with a big expansion of how the game works, unlocking episodes is horizontal progression, not virtual progression, (he called it breadth vs depth) which means theres still reasons to go back to ep 1 to do more content. after all, all the professions in ep 1 goes to level 500. He wants to add more interconnections between the episodes so you have more reasons to be active with all of them.
bit of a tip if you didnt know this but you can use an xp potion and use then use the knowledge XP and get the bonus off of that. you'll end up getting like 300xp is more depending on the level.
One thing i didnt like was the camera angles, they should update it so you can zoom out abit farther and be able to angle down the camera to look more "infront" of you or behind

it's honestly fun to watch Mudkip play through any game. It's cool to experience a new game. I'm happy to watch for as long as he continues to enjoy playing ^_^
FYI, your combat level being the same as an enemies doesn't mean anything. All your combat level does is allow you to unlock higher combat level enemies. Enemies drop items that have a level up to the combat level of the monster so a level 20 cockroach will be able to drop level 20 items. A level 40 enemy will drop items up to level 40. If you want to know if you can easily take on a level 20 for example, check if your gear is roughly that level and make sure you're using a weapon with the correct element. I think this is where a lot of people misunderstand the combat and are complaining because they're getting to level 20 guard and wondering why they can't kill a level 20 goblin when their gear has all been gained from a level 10 so they're basically 10 levels undergeared.
It is an interesting game, just needs a few more interconnections between the various areas. Like maybe some total level bonuses, so if you grind a ton on one area then you get at least get some benefit game-wide.
10:00 same thign happened to me lol but the potions are actually quite bad especially if youre low level; you will take more damage than they heal while using them.
cheeeeeeeeeers~ i was so flabberghasted by how nuts it felt in hopeport with the crude early banking optionsh ahhaa sooooooooooo glad i started lookinkg up help!~ thanks! got to the second area and im 100000% down to just grind wc + caprentry until i can unlock thne and THEN go grind some proper skills and coin and combat hahah` also passive skills for over night are soooooooooooooo underrated BUUUUUUT XP CONVERSION FOR KNOWLEDGE is soooooo clutch to get wood cutting/carp up faster after u get their passives atleast once! cheeeeeers
What is the point of this game ? It just looks like the grindy parts of runescape with none of the open world exploration fun side of it. Am I missing something ?
@@hamiltonnewhart3053 he said your combat stats basically reset, and honestly it's not entirely wrong. You grinded to level 25 Guard? Okay, do the exact same thing you just did for Scout. And now do what you did again as Minefighter.
@@CirnoFairy Except you still have your 25 guard in your professions...you really think there will not be content in which you will need all of your combat skills for in the future? Runescape has 5 different combat skills which are all important. They are intertwined
Adding new skills for each area is a cool idea but overwriting skills with identical skills is insanely stupid. What the hell is "minefighter" there should have been a single continuous set of combat skills and maybe one or two new skills per area.

OSRS tactics striking in Brighter Shores?? Love to see it, hopefully more depth like this to come

You gotta pay the trolllll toll to get into that boys-oul
Tuning allows you to set which episode it will be used for.
so you can make gear for all 4 episodes
I can't believe you found that cave moth right away, that took me like 2 hours
love this game thanks for supporting it by making videos of it!
i really enjoy Episode 3 of Brighter Shores ( Episode 3)!

If enemies are attacking faster than you, you can walk under to delay them and attack 1:1
the only thinking i dont get it is the premium pass what do they mean with one-off payment?
