I have watched Tharoor over the last few years...he is all mouth and no substance. We need a fresh face that is aspirational and inspirational. Rajeev has already proved his mettle. He will serve the people with honesty and integrity.

I have often wondered how someone like Shashi Tharoor keeps winning in Kerala when the man can barely speak Malayalam. He represents our continuing obsession with the English language and western (non Dharmic) ways of perceiving and thinking about India. Hi @RajeevChandrasekhar sir, there is no doubt you are one of the exceptional candidates TVM has received! But the campaigning strategies are poorly coordinated. Some of my colleagues living in urban and rural TVM doesn't even know your political hits / entrepreneurial legacy. Sad to witness this sir. Genuinely want you to be elected from my constituency. Please engage in proactive campaigning. Please have more face to face sessions with urban TVM .
He is losing, there is no charisma. Tharoor will sweep!

Nothing substantial about this interview especially when he's been sitting in parliament for 18 years compared to Tharoor's 15. Couldn't bring up a single achievement of his and gets all defensive when questioned about his commitment towards free speech and says "criticism against the govt is misinformed" and compares it to lying. Spent most of the time talking about Modi, culture, India, congress and cpim but nothing about his achievements. Tharoor on the other hand spoke for twice the amount of time and elaborated on his contributions to the coastal community, the vizhinjam project, progress on highways by cooperating even with political rivals, bringing fresh business to TechnoPark, spending all his MP funds to defend against COVID and his numerous efforts to offer constructive criticism of the govt in power. Funnily enough, Mr Chandrasekhar and his family have business dealings with CPIM leader EP Jayarajan over a resort in Kerala although he spent a few minutes talking about how Congress and CPIM are on the same team. He also wimped out of a debate with Tharoor earlier today at the very last minute so clearly this man is all bark and no bite.
😂 Tharoor is a big zero. Enough of Tharoor we need new people and new face who's capable.
