I like your style. You are lucky live in a place where there are plenty of fish. In my area the building of Marinas and the resulting noise, pollution, and over fishing has left it's mark.
Funny story, my uncle is commander of SEAL team 8, and he was on a mission in Vietnam. I don't remember all the details, but he was in this small, all concrete, foreign "restaurant" with his squadmates. The owner of the restaurant comes out with an octopus about 6 feet in length, and he challenges my uncle to kill it with a single bite. Coincidently, a week before he had watched a scene on television where a man demonstrated how to kill an Octopus with by biting it. So he takes the Octopus, which is of course wrapping its tentacles around his neck and arm and looking him dead in the eye, and bites it right between the eyes. The owner of course was impressed since he assumed my uncle didn't know what he was doing, and then all of the squadmates took a bite out of the Octopus. He said it tasted like a shoe.

no offence here but I always ask myself what is it about to carry the knife on your arm as a diver in general? it's only looking much cooler but in a very bad situation with your other arm... how can you reach your knife then if you need it? Anyway... I like the content in general! ;)

Excellent Video!! Quick question regarding the Uku and spearing on Oahu: Do you worry at all about the Ciguatera toxin associated with eating the Uku?
On Oahu we generally do not eat the bigger uku
