Just a tip. I use a lot of paddle tail baits and do some mods on a milling machine to the molds to improve paddle action at the slowest possible speeds. First thing I learned is you need a weighted jig head attached to the nose of the bait to get the best paddle action at very slow speeds. With no weight you get a body roll as the water hits the paddle and causes the body to roll on its axes. Again this is for very slow retrieves. Thanks CW for taking the time to put this video together, that was a lot of work. Great info.
No problem, it was fun to make. Hindsight being what it is, I should’ve used a weighted jig head or a swimbait hook. I will do that for the next review
You want to stay with bait plastics They are a little bit better product. And you will get very good plastic bait out of it and. You get high grade soft plastic bait by using bait plastic
@@cw_outdoor_adventures I believe they get their Plastisol from different manufacturers. I have used both, and still do. BP seems to cool faster and need more reheats, DoP shoots smoother imho. I like them both, but lean towards BP.
@@jayminer9416 I just ordered a 5 gallon bucket of 242 from BP. I would agree, it does seem to cool faster than I would expect but I still love the product.

Yeah that’s all I’ve been using. Don’t really see a need to change it up!
Dead on is bait plastics
I didn’t know that. I thought bait plastics and dead on were two different companies
