My own experience in social dancing is that the leader initiated barrada right on the beat and I had already change weight. And that caused me to change weight back in order to free the foot that the leader wanted to sweep.

Pero tengo una sugerencia: Tu sabes que el tango no es exclusivamente Argentino????
Ten en cuenta que se creó en el río de la plata. Uruguay y Argentina. Así lo estableció la Unesco al declararlo patrimonio inmaterial de la humanidad.
Sabes cuantos músicos, cantantes y bailarines Uruguayos llevaron el tango adelante??? Sabes que la milonga nació en el puerto de Montevideo, asociada a la milonga criolla y el candombe????
Es una pena la mezquindad de adueñarse de culturas ajenas o compartidas como en este caso.
