  • Walking around the picturesque town of St Andrews in Scotland is like stepping into a postcard of charm and history. As I stroll through its cobblestone streets, I was enveloped by a sense of timeless beauty. The town, renowned for its ancient university and legendary golf courses, exudes an air of academic prestige and sporting legacy.
This was a gentle meander through the narrow lanes lined with quaint shops and cafes, where there is plenty of treats to be had and then a walk around the more historic side and finishing off down by the harbour.
Its one of my favourite places to visit and plenty to see and do and Ill be back time and time again so why not join me on this wee walk
Thanks for watching and please let me know where or what I should explore next.

I love St Andrews. I have a lot of happy memories there, especially exploring the castle, and the cathedral.

It's a fab place. I feel it's so full of atmosphere, history and you can see the money in it lol. Its so clean and tidy and always full of tourists and people just really enjoying themselves. Camped in St Andrews a couple of times and would do it again to explore more of the coast and surrounding areas. There is a stunning wee bakery in the centre that I would walk to for a tasty treat lol. It has a bit of everything and I'll be back no question. Thanks for watching. Take care 👍😃👍🥾🥾🥃🥃

Hi. The history, architecture and heritage in St Andrews is amazing. I've been many times and will be back many times more. Every street is like a glimpse into history. The university, the golf course and the beach make this place a draw for tourists but I thought I would just go for a wee walk through the streets and explore those. Thanks for watching and supporting. Take care 😃👍🥾🥾🥃🥃

I will always love St Andrews. Spent many a holiday there with my favorite auntie. She lives walking distance from the Braes. Her home has since been turned into an Airbnb.

It's amazing really is. It has something for everybody. Great wee shops, fab bars a bakery to die for lol and the usual golf and historic ruins. But for me it's the atmosphere of the place. Everybody seems happy to be there and I've camped there a couple of time amd even in the wet people seem happy and friendly. Glad you enjoyed this wee tour and I wanted to show off the lesser known parts through the streets and its coast. Thanks for watching and commenting. Take care 👍😃👍🥃🥃

The place is fab. I've camped there a few times, had a few pints there and just smiled the whole time. The history, the views and the traditional wee shops just make it such a cool place. I used to golf years ago and went off it a bit but you can't help feel something so amazing standing on Swilkin Bridge of the home of golf. The town has an amazing bakery that I would walk to from glasgow for as well. That walk would build up an appetite ahahah. I'll be back time and time again. Thanks for watching as always. Take care 👍😃👍🥾🥾🎒🥃🥃

Hi sir. St Andys is awesome. So much to see.and just feel part of history in every turn. From the golf to the Uni and the ruins it just works. The place is so clean and tidy. Great wee shops without it being too touristy and a bakery worth walking to from Glasgow lol Well well worth a look. I wanted to just show the lesser known parts rather than the golf course, beach and main Abbey ruins Thanks for watching and commenting. Speak soon 👍😃👍🥾🥾🥃🥃
