One of the most boom-bastic, fiercly fantastic, diva delirious, reminiscing remixes of the 90ies. From a sadly bygone era when club music had style and class.
This is arguably Ross's most fierce dance remix ever!!! Feverish! Wish she opened her concert with this version back in 1995-1996. How can you not dance to this sizzler? Billboard #1 Dance smash for a reason. Still sounds fresh today. (And that's Patti Austin in the background. Hot!!!).
Found this groovy progressive T - empo' s... Version after 28 years looking for it ! Diana' s voice is magic and powerful. Lost my mixing tape from a good friend. Great memories are included and when music was made with special ❤ I think, it will take us higher & higher in the future.
@best1forward, I heard this track at the club back in the day when it was released. It was at the Tunnel in New York City where this dj called Junior Vasquez was spinning. Let me tell you, you're right, this sound rocked the club !! It lives up to its remix name.
@best1forward LOL...Martha would not only physically smash Diana against the wall but also vocally as she is the far stronger singer. We love Diana for her female softness and passion. She is a true diva, trouper, survior, and an incredible and loving woman (and so of course is Martha)
Martha is da bomb vocally, but she doesn't have the star appeal, charisma, and glam factor of Diana. Diana is an all-around entertainer (singer, actress, producer, fashionista, pop culture icon, and in 2022, songwriter). She may not have the pipes as her fellow soul sistas, but how many starring roles have we seen Martha, Aretha, Gladys, Patti, Chaka, Dionne and Donna in? Exactly. Martha would smash Janet, Jody, and Minnie Ripperton, too. So what? Diana continues to be invited to perform before kings, queens, presidents, and heads of states -- Martha has what, when, where, for who?

Readily agree

Without a doubt, one of the best kick offs to a club song.
MASTERPIECE!!!!!
