    Sir plz tell me why we kept current constant when we want to determine energy gap of semiconductor??

      I think your question s not related to this video. As I understand it is in regard of four probe experiment to determine resistivity and energy gap of semiconductor.
      In Four Probe experiment, the voltage across the inner two probes is noted at different temperatures. This voltage can be used to calculate resistivity when V is proportional to resistance which is possible only when current is constant. This is why a constant current is necessary.

      Cromium ions are active centres. In Al2O3, some Al ions are replaced by Cromium ions
