@@pranaybharath2579 well its not entirely true that they didn't create any kind of market, and you also have to take into account the international acclaim. SRK is very famous outside India, has a very high brand value, so it would be unfair to say that they have been overshadowed. I feel its better to acknowledge what they have done for so many years, and now there is someone can has the potential to overshadow them in the next decade or so. Time will tell of course.

His popularity and success in Baahubali were not solely due to his performance but also because of his humility and genuine nature. Prabhas has consistently shown himself to be as authentic in his personal life as he is in his public appearances. The Hindi-speaking audience, in particular, had grown weary of the contrived personas and artificial facades of many Bollywood stars. These actors often appeared egotistical, showy, and detached. Prabhas broke these stereotypes, demonstrating that film stars could remain humble despite their immense popularity. He showed the neutral audience that big stars could stay connected to their roots, even in the face of widespread admiration and fame. However, this popularity and admiration were not universally welcomed. Many in both Bollywood and his own industry, Tollywood, silently attempted to undermine him. While publicly feigning support, some used his popularity for self-promotion and the advancement of their films. Prabhas, always supportive and caring, was unprepared for these industry 'vultures'. Many people, including RUclips channels, self-proclaimed critics, reviewers, film analysts, journalists, creators, artists, filmmakers, and producers, leveraged his name as a brand to boost their content. They praised him on social media when they wanted support from his fans, but when Prabhas needed support, only a few stood by him, and even they eventually withdrew. As it stands, Saaho and Radhe Shyam were not inherently bad on paper; Saaho had a brilliant screenplay, and Radhe Shyam boasted an attractive concept as a classic love story. However, the films were marred by the inexperience and ineptitude of directors Sujeeth and Radha Krishna Kumar, who failed to grasp the importance of presentation, script, screenplay, and editing. The mismanagement extended to 'Adipurush', directed by Mr. Om Raut. Despite the film's potential to appeal to the masses with its legendary, historical, and cultural themes, it faltered at numerous levels due to poor execution by Om Raut and T-Series. Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush serve as quintessential examples of how not to make a film and how good concepts can be ruined. Prabhas must recognize that content, concept, and script are paramount in creating a great film. It is crucial for him to understand his stature as a star and an actor, and choose scripts that reflect his capabilities. Even if it takes several years to complete a single project, it must be worth the wait. 'Kalki 2898 - A.D' promises to be the kind of project that Prabhas needs to undertake and continue.
I still don't understand why Sahoo did not work in India. I've watched the movie with a bunch of my non indian friends and while they said that it was a complex story it was engaging.
Prabhas's success reason is his offline behaviour. He was never involved in controversial topics. And no actor utilized the pandemic time compared to Prabhas. His movie selection is very unique.

The most underappreciated and most important thing about Prabhas' filmography is the sheer diversity and his desire to give a unique and good experience to the audience. No one ever talked about it until now. It's awesome that you mentioned this point.
Just want to mention that even before Baahubali, Prabhas has done some amazing films. I would advise taking a look once at his filmography if you haven't. No actor can survive in any industry if they only give 1 good movie in 20 years of their career.
Also Prabhas is very unique in his off screen persona as well. He doesn’t do any advertisements, he's not active on social media, he doesn’t speak ill of anyone, he brings food for ppl on sets and he doesn’t even seem to hv a PR to protect him frm paid h@te. He's someone we get to see only on Big screen in cinema halls. To top it all, he's very Shy and a good human. Frm his very first film, he gave new directors a chance and tried new concepts. Even after a Mega hit like BB2, he gave chance to a new comer for his next film. Sujeet, Radha, Nag ashwin are all fulfilling their vision because of Prabhas backing. Well some don’t utilise that opportunity though.
When somebody such Prabhas is a trailblazer , risk taker, the first in so many things always an army of detractors will follow up him, detractors, are in a comfort zone, and will stayed there, but Prabhas works with directors and producers that are innovators , every new idea will take a risk when it is implemented could succeed or fail , creativity is born from somebody taking risks and having faith in the creation process and the the expected results.😀

He doesn’t even hv a PR to tackle these, at this stage he still is giving chance to new innovative directors. His line is very unique with diff genres. Ever since his comeback from Salaar he has not done any mass films unlike other superstars,he has always tried to do something different and he has changed Indian Cinema twice (Baahubali and Kalki), he is putting his career at risk and doing films like Kalki for Indian Cinema not just for his Industry.❤️❤️

I saw Prabhas first movie Eshwaar in remote Telangana village theater with my Tamil colleagues, everyone was impressed with his acting skills and looks. My Tamil colleagues asked me,who is this guy and I still remember saying he is a new guy Prabhas and we discussed that he can become a super star and everyone agreed with me. Because whether the movies he done were hit or flop he is continuously doing films and releasing one by one with short span of time he is continuously being within the audience.
Prabhas have something that other stars lack, his movies attract more people that speak the variety of languages in the country, they are national success, not Bollywood star have a box office composition like Prabhas, big numbers in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil , Kannada , Malayalam. Bollywood success movies most of the audiences are Hindi speaking. Prabhas movies pull people across India to watch his movies, his opening days are unmatched, he is like a magnet for audiences. 😀

You probably missed the fact about his consistency. Post Bahubali 2, Prabhas has released 5 movies in 7 years and has at least 4 more movies lined up in as many years. Within a decade of his biggest hit in 2017, till 2027 he would have released at least 10 projects. That is sheer hard work and dedication, although he has been really lazy in some of his recent works. I don't tbink anybody is working that hard right now despite being at the top of their game.
Thanks for suggesting the "consistency" aspect. I will keep it in mind in any future videos I make on Prabhas. Consistency aspect is good, but I intentionally left it out because there are many actors who do more than 3-4 films a year.. .Akshay Kumar is one example, and didn't want to draw that comparison with Prabhas, even though Prabhas is doing much better films, with much better scope for acting.

Probably if the Indian audiences support him regardless their language. Audiences in US made the blockbusters ,right now the #1 movie worldwide Inside Out 2 have a domestic collection of more than $600, million dollars more than all Bollywood movies combined this year so far, and thanks to Kalki India cinema is on the spotlight this year. 😀
All because, He is very Indian, Because of His physic his hair and his colour. Other than that he is versatile actor. Any Charector suits him. Like being a son, a lover boy, a rebel.
Even if movies fail, Prabhas will take risk with next project, his career from 2003 is filled with experiments, being biggest commercial hero, he don’t have to do that but still he likes to risk, so same mindset is inspiring the youth in their lives, so obviously they become his fans 👍

In my opinion Prabhas is in a league by himself, Kalki is the most recent example , a big scale science fiction movie in India cinema, the producer, director and Prabhas took a huge risk and pay off, in other occasions is going to fail the movie, he is not sitting comfortably , he is pushing the envelop . Dear I live in the Mecca of cinema and love movies, I know something about cinema, he is different than other Indian actors simply.😀
@@bertilasanchez2909 actually kalki was a risk taking film then also it was a safe play causee everyone knows on the earth that his movies will make profit anyhow plus prabhas is very comfortable in doing these type of roles so it was a safe ride for him.

I saw Prabhas first movie Eshwaar in remote Telangana village theater with my Tamil colleagues, everyone was impressed with his acting skills and looks. My Tamil colleagues asked me,who is this guy and I still remember saying he is a new guy Prabhas and we discussed that he can become a super star and everyone agreed with me. You probably missed the fact about his consistency. Post Bahubali 2, Prabhas has released 5 movies in 7 years and has at least 4 more movies lined up in as many years. Within a decade of his biggest hit in 2017, till 2027 he would have released at least 10 projects. That is sheer hard work and dedication, although he has been really lazy in some of his recent works. I don't tbink anybody is working that hard right now despite being at the top of their game.
Thanks for suggesting the "consistency" aspect. I will keep it in mind in any future videos I make on Prabhas.
Consistency aspect is good, but I intentionally left it out because there are many actors who do more than 3-4 films a year.. .Akshay Kumar is one example, and didn't want to draw that comparison with Prabhas, even though Prabhas is doing much better films, with much better scope for acting.
