Shaq just needs to understand "his girl" is not so much about basketball as she is about being seen. Aggressive play toward Clark just makes people dislike the other players. If they played good ball with her everyone would get the good press. People tend to like the underdog but Catelin is an exceptional player being bullied so she become the major underdog. Ok, Diana Taurasi was good once but in the 6 games team USA played in the Olympics she played in 5 games only scoring 5 points in all of those games. Then only thing Reese leads in are rebounds but most of the rebounds came from her own missed shots from less than 8 feet away
@@1lthrnk Taurasi Olympic play, IF you call it that, was allowed for marketing reasons and not for any skill need - BUT Clark wasn't allowed to bring her high skill level because (as Joy Taylor hoe sayid) "she is a rookie and not enough skill" although she showed enough skill readily to surpass Taurasi's worn out game, as well as hold it's own to bring TRUE MARKET AWARENESS to women basketball WORLDWIDE! Whay an,absolute genuine utter shame, that O Neil's comments just cannot be focused around & on the main baller,who helped change the overall outlook on women's basketball during this past season. But far more importantly than that is the simple fact that had it not been for the presence and the physicality ,the natural skills,talent and real athleticism of Caitlin Clark -- Angel Reese would seriously not be known in such a sport. Angel Reese ,will merely be known for everything else but what Caitlin Ckark will always be kniwn for . Being one,of self ownership of dignity, human decency,pride, morals,values,goals,self expectations,CLASS, well deservant,well earned RESPECTand accolades . Being acknowledged and accepted for her true genuine self being. Major difference between these two young athletes -- major difference between two young human beings . One is an exceptional role model which many future generations of athletes-- even non athletes should want to hopefully look up to in all aspects. J M O & T
