Madrugada is an awesome band. Hunt up all their stuff and give it a try. Other bands I found about the same time as them: Conjure One, Kosheen, Monster Magnet. No similarity of sound, but interesting work by all. Also Poe, Marie-Claire D'Ubaldo, Mark Lonnegan, Hafdis Huld

This is such an incredible song. I can't believe it came out in 1999 - I really missed the boat on this amazing band. Need to do a deep dive and catch up. RIP Mr Burås✌
Same for me. Found them totally through RUclips playing The Rust from Sivert when I was working and RUclips was on in the background. Since then I have literally consumed all their music and am already through a lot of collecting their vinyl, within three months. And in April I will see Sivert live. Sometimes we are not in the right place to enjoy a band, so time gives it to us when we are at that right place. Don't regret that you didn't find them back then, rejoice that like me, you found them now.
