Truly spectacular boat. Thanks for the in depth interview. For perhaps another video, I’d love to know other things like range, water makers, galley, etc.. and would love to see a sea trial in rougher conditions. Thanks again.

For power and propulsion I would order twin MTU2600s and a 3000hp turbine engine for 8200hp.

We' thought that the surface piercing props' should always be INLINED' exactly to work effectively & most efficiently ?? >> please respond promptly ??

I asked directly to Engineer Acampora who is the designer of the boat and the inventor of the trasmission package . Here is his reply : “we are not quite sure what is meant by “inlined”, but the “best” (to be defined) position in terms of submergence of a surface propeller, is linked to many factors. Depending on speed, loading, sea state, hull & prop conditions, cross winds, mission scenario etc. small adjustments might be necessary. This is why we use a special patent trim piston that can provide of small propeller submergence adjustments, either manually for the skilled more extreme pilots, or with an automatic system for more normal helmsmen. In some specific applications, for the sake of reliability and ease of use, fixed surface propellers might be a good option too. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer - 'Inlined' means that all three surface piercing propellers should be aligned that under load all three props are piercing the water at the same depth that is with the centre of the props are approximately half of the diameter of the props are below the water 'equally'- although we' here can see that the shape of your hull is correctly lined up with the shape of the hulls curve & would be lined according to the shape of the keel - we are curious to know if there is alignment under power - ps we' here are Engineers & I have been associated with Sail & power boating for more than 65 years - Dezmond ?? >> @@theluxuryyachtlady
