Suggestion: use strict on plates and mile and a half, but use relaxed on anything smaller . Hope it helps

Another suggestion: move your camera right under the lap info box so we can see if you ahve draft partners on a big track
if i were you, when you ran out of fuel, shift the car to neutral and just coast the last lap and a half, the car won’t lose as much speed when you just are sputtering in fourth gear the whole time
Can you shift to neutral in heat games? Even if you hold the button it shifts to the gear.
Austin, if you have manual shifting enabled you can just down shift to neutral and coast to the end. you do have a greater chance to spin because when you shift to second or first on accident you just spin out, i’ve done it too many times
@@PowerHitter-hf7og gotcha! I'm curious would down shifting, even quickly, not just slow you down to what you would sputter. I miss in the older games where you could save fuel by staying in neutral through turns and whatnot.

For his defense, it did say estimated 14 with 14 laps to go after the restart.

Was running on 105 difficulty earlier winning the race with 2 laps to go and Kenseth came flying down the track and passed me like I was standing still. Have no idea where he came from and I'm pretty sure he wasn't in the top 10 for all that long but man he flipped the switch and went into f1 mode.
Happened to Newman at Talladega this year lol.
Asked the last 15 laps if they were good on fuel, they told him they were good until they were coming to take the green RIP

I do not know if anyone would like this but I would love for the player be in control of the car in pit stops and cautions so if you pitting instead of the whole screen being covered up by tires, fuel etc it should be in the top right corner so you can still see it and you can see where your driving

What about putting it right under the position tracker? Should keep the cars outside and inside within view given how steep Dover’s banking is on the video
Dover fuel mileage in this game is not very accurate. Generally a lap on the fuel mileage at Dover only covers 7/8s of the lap. Also set recovery skill to high to have less cautions on strict yellows.

So I recently learned that you are a Florida Gator which is also my alma mater. Go Gators!!! In my opinion strict yellow is better for stage racing and relax yellow is better for no stages which is what you do. So if I was you I would change it back and not listen to everyone because who likes a bunch of cautions interrupting the race. Especially when they're pointless.
His Xfinity series car looks like Austin cindrics 33 car at the 2021 Daytona 500

You should put the camera either on Top right, or bottom left. Not seeing what position you're in isnt a big deal because we see what position you're in when battling other cars.. and hiding the mini map isnt a big deal either. Idk if anyone pays attention to it

It is a fuel "estimate".
I promise it said 11 on fuel and 14 for the race - treat the numbers like a fraction, if the number is > 1, you'll need fuel; laps remaining is the top number, fuel laps are bottom number; 14/11 > 1 = need fuel.
17 laps remaining with 14 laps of fuel during the last caution u didn't consider the caution laps u ran then when restart came it said 14 to go 14 fuel but the game was wrong and so were you.should have pitted half a tank of gas wouldn't have cost u any spots either may have gained your tires were good tough break
This happens when you run 4x and when your exactly on their you will run out its better to take more fuel

If you switch back to far chase, and move your camera, we'd be able to see more action like the battles with the AI

If you're looking for somewhere to put the camera i'd say right below position in the top right. Nothing is really there and we'd still be able to see cars on the outside
Can you please use the far chase cam I like that cam the best by a lot
I hate far chase, I can't control the car with that wonky cam, I use hood, roof and cockpit, I just wish we could adjust fov, so I can reduce the fov and make it more realistic, I don't know how anyone can use wheel with chase cams, just feels awkward
comments say strict yellows because when you have relaxed you are always asking for a caution.
My suggestion. Turn off less effect for AI. Turn off more grip for you. Turn on less wear for you. It plays really well

The fuel mileage stuff hasn’t changed since heat 4; should know that 14 laps is ESTIMATED and is more like 12-13 laps. Tough way to lose

Strict yellows all race but not on the last lap. Good consistent game mechanics.
With strict yellows the caution comes out for blown tires because AI run as far as they can

This fuel problem has been around in the Heat games for a few years now. Windvow has this shown often, and he explains it as, at some tracks in the game you burn more fuel than what you're using. I know, it sounds weird, but that's basically what's going on. I don't know why that is but just be careful with that, it has screwed many people over in the past. I'm surprised this is the first time you've really experienced it, but be prepared, there's more to come with this glitch unfortunately

Yes with short 25% races strict cautions are too much, but I play 50% races with strict, the way I have ur settings your asking for short races with a ton of cautions
Suggestion: Not running in first person for ease of viewing for the fans and for yourself
