I remember my pops got me and my bro the Jordan 1's on sale for $40 each a year after release. Lol. The only reason he bought them was because they were Trini colors. Lol. After that we were in reebok pumps, Fila, Ellese, Travel Fox, Bo Jackson's and Nike flights but no Jordan. In 94 i was 13 and I remember my barber had the Olive with the nice Kani sweater with the metal plate in the front and Cross Colors shorts and it was the flyest shit to me. Lol. I remember Martin wearing them in a episode and the gear that came out for them were dope as hell. I never was able to get another pair until the 11's dropped and i was outside for real. Once i bought them i was on it till the 20's but at that point i was grabbing retros of everything I never had and i was fully addicted however, the Olive always escaped me. I haven't bought a Jordan in awhile since the remastered 3's but when these came out i had to grab them. I'll probably get the black cement 3's and 5's but I have them from before and they are hardly worn but these 9's gonna be put on the feet quickly

Yea having the 2024 olive 9s and owning the 2012 olive 9… i didn’t realize how incorrect the 2012s was down to the black leather and the laces.. i think we appreciated the 2012s cause they ain’t drop for 10 years before the sneakerhead boom happened
Olive 9s… a classic fall shoe. Get a Hilfiger or Polo button up back in the day you could damn near wear these to church😂 (Old head perspective, I’m old enough to remember when all these shoes originally dropped)
