      That seems like it is going to change especially with the anti-colonial movement happening in Guam and many people of Guam hate the military which explains why many Guamanians despise the military which is a shame. The people of guam are also becoming more racist towards white people especially with the whole anti-colonial mindset that is rising

    I never thought Guam was so top secret and department of defense related until I got to new York. The locals here and wall Street have an interest due to the military activity and china. My personal photos and high school yearbooks have been stolen or compromised. Lots of Chinatowns here. About 4 and counting in new York. And places like downtown NY and battery park are full of thieves and criminals. NYPD has not investigated almost all my complaints even when I was almost killed at least three times I used to work for citigroup smith Barney. I blew the whistle on them. Citibank has a lot of labor unions so I need to go.

    The US has been controlling Guam since 1898. 124+years under US rule has only resulted in nearly half of Guams population being Forced to live the American Dream in POVERTY. The US Government is the main reason that keeps Guam from ever achieving Economic Prosperity.

    • @brucelee5576
      @brucelee5576 Год назад +3

      Poverty or no Poverty is entirely up to you. You can hit rock bottom and start from homelessness like I did and make it , only in America is this possible and because I’ve done it before fear is not something I ever feel.

    • @Roberto-Antonio
      @Roberto-Antonio Год назад +3

      @brucelee5576 My comment had nothing to do with personal achievements. When a nation is prevented from governing itself by conquering power or preventing from making decisions in the best interest of its people, this is called modern day Slavery. The US sole interest in keeping Guam as a US Colonial possession is for its strategic location in the Pacific, which is why so much of Guam, including ancestral land, has been militarized. Most people in Guam have to join the military or leave the island to improve their quality of life. Holding Guam hostage as a US Territory has resulted in the people of Guam becoming a minority on their own island. Decisions made in Washington DC concerning Guam are made in the interest of the Unites States first, and not Guam. Having US citizenship only means you have a free ticket to leave the Island if you want something greater. Basically, the people have been given a bone. This US gives you this while they take all that! The US has clearly affected Guam's Cultural Identity, Language.

    • @Ncha1ned

      If it wasn't for the US, native locals wouldn't even exist in Guam... The US presence wasn't full throttle until after the attack on Pearl Harbor and at that time, the Japanese were literally committing genocide amongst the locals. I won't even get into the corrupt Guam families and politicians that squander and abuse US federal aid and money along with the tourism income that never trickles down to the locals.

    • @adblas2222
      @adblas2222 5 месяцев назад +2

      Military housing allowances have increased the cost of housing on Guam. Immigration laws have prevented H-2 workers from building homes. There is a shortage of skilled laborers in the construction industry. Kind of like the US using Mexican workers, because they are cheap labor, but complain about illegal aliens. The military personnel get to shop in Commisasry and exchange with cheaper prices, get free housing, power, water, medical services and a cost of living allowance. Wages are depressed locally and do not meet the cost of living, hence living below the poverty line. Federal laws prevent competition in shipping and air transportation causing all imported goods and air travel, which Guam relies on, to be extremely expensive. Again, those talking smack need to get their facts straight, because it speaks of a lack of intelligence and ignorance. Surprise ... surprise.

    Taiwan is too strict to criticise the government.

    Planes are not supposed to fly so low. The person on this video should file a complaint with the Command office. It is reckless of the pilot to do so. Not only can it harm civillians, it can harm the plane. Crazy.

    Not only does Anderson base take half the island. There stealth bombers are very rude. They literally are extremely loud and fly to close. 4 stealth bombers flew right over DMV one at a time, every body had to cover there ears as they practice bombed DMV. They were screaming in the sky the whole Superbowl. There not above the law.

    Andersen AFB does not take half the island, not even 1/10. Most of the southern part of the island is untouched, so, maybe before you complain about the US military taking up too much territory you should expand into those areas first.
    There are no stealth bombers assigned to Andersen AFB although they may fly in to Guam at times. Stealth bombers don't practice bomb runs over cities and if they did they would fly at 30,000 feet at night. If they were flying low it was a short air show, something real Americans appreciatte.

    • @adblas2222
      @adblas2222 5 месяцев назад

      They hold the land that can't be used or accessed by the local population. It kind of speaks of the way they treat the locals. It is also the most beautiful parts of the island. Smart occupiers. You forget that they occupy or hold big Navy, Naval Magazine and NCS, aside from Anderson Airforce base. Get your facts straight. The island also has a thriving toursim market and is a transit point for shipping in the region, among other things. Your comment about real Americans is insulting. Don't be an A-sho_e, ignoramus. I guess we should be thrilled that we are threatened by places like North Korea and China, due to the military presence. Thanks for that by the way. SMH

    • @twelvestitches984
      @twelvestitches984 5 месяцев назад

      @@adblas2222 No one on Guam is "treating" the locals poorly. Even US citizens can't just drive onto US military bases. If you know someone in the military then they can get you on base.
      There is no "transit" point for shipping anymore.
      As for being threatened by North Korea and China, when the Japanese invaded Guam what did you do? Nothing. We had to come in and eliminate them for you. That's what happens when you are a primitive among more advanced beings.
      You should thank us for all of the inventions that improve every humans life like electricity, air conditioning, refrigeration, modern vehicles, modern shipping, aircraft, vaccines, modern medicine, modern agriculture, modern textiles, computers and the internet and the networks, cell phones, spacecraft.
