Thats how Meta Knight is played. By whiff punishing and getting an early kill off of that.
Why are people like “this is the same combo over and over again this is so unimpressive this guy is so trash and doesn’t know how to play outside of one combo” like dude that’s how the character is played.
Same thing with Luigi, his impressive grab combos and chains are what bring him to victory. People just hate on him more because he’s Luigi. Sometimes a character is easily played with one combo. Jigglypuff’s dair into rest, Mario’s ladder combos, that’s just how you get good with that character, by sticking to a combo that you can easily practice.
That’s just how it is, if you don’t like it, get out of competitive smash.
