Akuma's hair is gray likely because he's just that old now, since SF6 is more or less around 10 years post SF3 based on Ken's son's age, and his art in 3 already shows him getting gray streaks

But he doesn't have any kanji on his back when he hits the stance, at a perfect moment for it to glow before he fades away into the shadows leaving it behind. Maybe this trailer and the way it's talking....Akuma has in his own way perfected the Satsui no Hado...not overcome it with the power of Nothingness like Ryu, but conquered it in his own way that means he doesn't have a glowing kanji on his back anymore. Either way...I need MORE than JUST Spring 2024....that literally starts on the 19th of this month! Give me a release MONTH at least!
That is a possiblity but he still is an old man so that has to be mostly grey hair he has. Oni from SF4 was merely the concept of him fully being overtaking by the Satsui no Hadou, tho in the comics he does become Oni tho I don't think that's canon to the series. And as much like with all the other dlcs, he'll get a full gameplay trailer and best bet he comes out somewhere early April at least about 2-3 weeks from now.
