Scar is careless and less experience than jungle hunter to be honest. Scar didn't even know that the face hugger was infront of him. The only reason why the jungle hunter was cocky when he faces Dutch because of his vision. He only has one vision which is heat vision and only could detect heat signatures. If jungle hunter has severals vision like city hunter, he would eventually hunt Dutch easily.

Not to mention the Jungle Hunter is not just slower but also is far less equipped. Scar has a kombi stick, longer wristblades, and a probably stronger plasma caster. And even tho we saw the Jungle Hunter beat dutch quite easily, Celtic who Scar is probably stronger than wrestled a Xeno, smashing it though multiple pillars. And if you remember the end of the first AVP movie you would remember just how agile, fast and smart Scar really is.

The fact alone that Scar was a Young Blood Yautja already tells me who would win this fight. Based on what is said here about the Jungle Hunter, he should have the significant advantage in skill and experience over his younger opponent right off the bat. It's like if you were to pit an 18 year old rookie soldier against a seasoned 40+ year old war veteran with years of combat expertise. Not really much of a fair fight. So overall, the Jungle Hunter gets my vote.

But that doesn't mean he was smart, like Scars big brothers down fall was that they were to dependent on their strength. Chooper was to buzy hunting the humans that he completely stoped paying attention to his seroundings and get surprised attacked by a Xenomorph. And Celtic was to buzy wanting revenge of the death of his little brother that he left himself open even if he was the biggest and eldest of the brothers (like he literally trew himself at a Xenomorph and grapped the tail and started trowing around with it like the Xenomorph was a ragdoll)
I'd take scar just for the fact that as a young blood he took out multiple xenomorphs as well as a queen in his blooded hunt. Dude was going places. I just can't put a yautja that got wrecked by a human over another that wrecked a xenomorph hive
You're forgetting the fact that in order to obtain the right to use the plasma caster the jungle hunter had to do the same ritual and when he fell at the end he gave up all tech to face Dutch hand to hand so without the mask to give his vision definition would be like you needing perscription glasses to see and taking them off to fight someone and Dutch just got real lucky

It's likely that Jungle Hunter has more than 1 vision mode (wouldn't make sense for him not to), it's just likely that he wasn't in an environment where he would've needed it. Assuming there was only 1 vision mode was what got Peter Keyes' team killed.
I feel like Scar is stronger than Jungle Hunter, he looks so much bigger than him. Maybe Jungle Hunter is taller but strength I would have to give it to Scar

I do agree that it depends on the situation and I thoroughly enjoyed the video, but it may come as a surprise to most people that I honestly think Scar would win despite what the majority are saying. Scar struck me as faster and more agile. He cut down a Xenomorph trying to sneak up on him without even turning around while Jungle Hunter wasn't even aware that Dutch was on a tree right next to him. As such, I do think it's possible for Scar to sneak up of Jungle Hunter given that the latter, as you said, only has the one vision mode. Which brings me to my next point, Scar knows how to learn and adapt. He made Lex a shield and spear from Xenomorph body parts knowing that they'd be acid proof and highly affective. As such, if Scar knows he's battling against another Predator, I think (assuming this battle rakes place in a jungle) he'd think to cover himself in mud like Dutch did, especially if he knows Jungle Hunter only has heat vision. From there he can easily use his more advanced and extensive weaponry to cause a lot of trouble for Jungle. Now sure, Jungle Hunter is more experienced and if he manages to find Scar first before he can prepare then it mean bigger problems for the young blood, but Jungle Hunter just doesn't seem to be able to prepare himself and actually use his enemies weaknesses to his advantage like Scar did. I also believe Scar displayed levels of speed and agility during his fight against the Xenomorph Queen that were higher than anything Jungle Hunter ever did, and Jungle Hunter even seemed to get overconfident and cocky as shown by how he just bashed Dutch around and let him run away into an honestly pretty obvious trap. And Dutch's trap would have worked if Jungle didn't accidentally bump into one of the spikes he had set up, and he didn't even consider that Dutch would have a secondary trap installed. Overall, I just think that Scar was faster, had better weapons and equipment, and was shown to be quite a bit smarter despite his inexperience.

Honestly it's a 50/50 for me. If they fought 100 times I see it goin either way. Reason why is that while the jungle hunter has probably double the experience, he also is facing a predator, not a regular human, who has more durable armor, more variety of weapons and has the same if not better technology than the jungle hunter. But while Scar does have these advantages, the jungle hunter is alone for a reason, he must've done the same ritual as Scar did and makes him a dangerous enough foe to take on most things by himself. Plus, the stealth is completely one sided and overall depends where the fight takes place. With all these factors, I see it as a perfect 50/50

Both Jungle Hunter and Scar are strong yautja in their perspective story. But if I think about it, Jungle Hunter will be the winner in this fight. This is because the Jungle Hunter is a mature adult yautja, whose hunting and technical ability is at least almost to elite class. While, Scar was still a younger adult yautja, despite already and succedeed becomes 'Blooded' on his right of passages. Much like Crucified Predator from Predators 2010, who basicly a young adult of Jungle Hunter and didn't matured yet.
I actually think Scar would win. First of all, Scar showed more reflexes feat and does seem to be stronger than Jungle. Not only that, his gadgets are superior than Jungle. Scar's adaptability was also superior than Jungle. However, what makes this a difficult fight for Scar would be Jungle's superior intellect, experience and cunningness. But again, Scar's adaptability is far of that than Jungle.

Jungle and City Hunter, Scarface and Fugitive: All rounder hunters. Scar and Dark: Most agile. Celtic and Ahab: Brute strength. Wolf: Elite who realise on technology. Ghost: Stalker who realise on speed.
Definitely the Jungle Hunter for his greater experience. And lets remember most Yautja are all about fairness and honor in a fight refusing to use weapons such as plasma casters against those who have little to no weapons of their own, thats why the Jungle Hunter removed his plasma caster and his helmet so as to make things more even with Dutch. If two Yautja fought one another, superior weapons would be a mute point with the pair sticking to straight up brawling until only one was standing.
Personally i like Scar but in the end I'm rolling with Jungle Hunter on this on. Scar displayed instincts that most vets don't have and took out a Queen. Jungle experience would probably win out.
Idk if a Yautja needs to kill a Xenomorph to obtain its plasma caster but the Jungle Hunter seemed to have more experience. I did like Scar quite a bit though.

As much as I love Scar Jungle takes this… besides wolf the original Jungle Predator has the best skill of all the Yautja on screen. It was until he got cocky did he actually lose… even though it’s considered cocky they still do it as a “honorary” calling. They purposely equal the fight as it’s their custom and OG was killed because he was tricked into going into his honorary role. Seeing as Dutch was seen as a worthy opponent
I'm Sure jungle Hunter has all of the standard if not more of the same equipment as scar, it's probably just not showcased in the movie for one they hadn't come up with the concepts yet and for another he simply underestimated the type of prey he would be hunting
There are things I don't agree on.... such as the task at hand..... I would like to think that although we didn't see jungle hunter with many weapons dosen't mean he wouldn't have the weapons and expertise to use them.... if the mission was to take out another predator he may have armed himself more.... Scar was going after Xenomorphs.... not humans... so yeah he's not going to take a knife to a gun fight.... and I believe jungle would have the different vision modes although not shown I don't see trip wires showing up well with a thermal vision but he got in and out of their camp taking Blaine to boot.... I've also heard that their trophies mean more when they use less tech to obtain them because it reflects more on their skills
Both of my favorite Predators. I have to think the jungle hunter has enough experience to win, but Scar was a great warrior at his young age. Tough call. I say jungle hunter because he was the master of his environment.
Jungle Hunter would win imo. Even with all that better gear, Scar was basically killed by a Facehugger and later became a liability. Even when his Stealth and Vision was compromised, Jungle was still winning if not for plot.

Scar's adaptability was also superior than Jungle. However, what makes this a difficult fight for Scar would be Jungle's superior intellect, experience and cunningness. But again, Scar's adaptability is far of that than Jungle.

Although I like scar, but jungle hunter is a badass predator but it's just abit cocky and less experience when Dutch learned its weakness and the predator freakout when he's the one who got hunted.

Jungle has already pass the test that Scar would pass in normal curcumstances if not for the Xenomorph Alien Queen ... it is hard to say.

Definitely the Jungle Hunter for his greater experience. And lets remember most Yautja are all about fairness and honor in a fight refusing to use weapons such as plasma casters against those who have little to no weapons of their own, thats why the Jungle Hunter removed his plasma caster and his helmet so as to make things more even with Dutch. If two Yautja fought one another, superior weapons would be a mute point with the pair sticking to straight up brawling until only one was standing.
Personally i like Scar but in the end I'm rolling with Jungle Hunter on this on. Scar displayed instincts that most vets don't have and took out a Queen. Jungle experience would probably win out.
If jungle Hunter also got the advanced equipment then he will become more better than scar.

Jungle hunter: more experienced, less equipment. Scar: less experienced, more equipment. Jungle one has an advantage in stealth combat, Scar in direct, because of weaponry. It depends on who made a mistake first.
Scar killed multiple Xenomorphs and battled a Queen. Jungle Hunter barely managed to overpower Dutch in battle, but lost in wits.

As much as I love Scar Jungle takes this… besides wolf the original Jungle Predator has the best skill of all the Yautja on screen. It was until he got cocky did he actually lose… even though it’s considered cocky they still do it as a “honorary” calling. They purposely equal the fight as it’s their custom and OG was killed because he was tricked into going into his honorary role. Seeing as Dutch was seen as a worthy opponent
I'm Sure jungle Hunter has all of the standard if not more of the same equipment as scar, it's probably just not showcased in the movie for one they hadn't come up with the concepts yet and for another he simply underestimated the type of prey he would be hunting

There are things I don't agree on.... such as the task at hand..... I would like to think that although we didn't see jungle hunter with many weapons dosen't mean he wouldn't have the weapons and expertise to use them.... if the mission was to take out another predator he may have armed himself more.... Scar was going after Xenomorphs.... not humans... so yeah he's not going to take a knife to a gun fight.... and I believe jungle would have the different vision modes although not shown I don't see trip wires showing up well with a thermal vision but he got in and out of their camp taking Blaine to boot.... I've also heard that their trophies mean more when they use less tech to obtain them because it reflects more on their skills

Both of my favorite Predators. I have to think the jungle hunter has enough experience to win, but Scar was a great warrior at his young age. Tough call. I say jungle hunter because he was the master of his environment.
