    Can't complain about old interiors when Aussies buy up 70series landcruisers all day lol... and they're not far off $100k

    Isn't the Nissan Patrols displacement 5.6L as opposed to a 5.4L?

    Well I pushed through the comments he’s made about how thirsty it must be towing (clearly he’s done zero research into this because these patrols are incredibly reasonable on fuel when towing) but I had to stop when he mentioned how much body roll the patrol has on his corners in the Blue Mountains 😂
    Matey it’s called HBMC suspension - look it up, it’s an Australian invention, used by McLaren and the new Land Rover Defender OCTA amongst other brands. There is virtually zero body roll on these patrols just take a look at the cornering shots in the video (!) and yes it’s more advanced than the KDSS system employed by Toyota - also invented by the same Australian but was his first effort as I understand. Honestly these motoring “journalists” it’s getting worse.

    Good general info vid ...about the fuel consumption, it has a V8 engine...nothing actually about the important type stuff like the lighting, suspension, wheels, performance, braking and especially the actual 4x4 system like gearbox, transfer case, gear ratios, traction control, lockers and other stuff most people specifically buy a 4x4 for..
    But a 2024 model and you post it now?
    4:05 Steering wheel works well?? Well I hope so...as it steers the f**kin car?..😊
    4:27 timber stuff...not sure what its called
    ??.....woodgrain?🤔
    15:38 The Y63 'probably' won't have a V8????
    Probably???
    The main title of the vid even says in huge bold print... THE LAST V8...AND you just crapped on all through the video that it is the last V8 so hurry up and buy one as an investment...yet not sure if the new one is a V8 or not..🤔🤔
    SERIOUSLY???
    Come on Zak...😊
    Maybe good idea for the next vid if you stick to the reviews on 4 cylinder road vehicles,...leave the 4x4 stuff up to the pros. 👍

    I own the 24 Ti-L and it does indeed pull you back into the lane, it brakes a wheel to help pull you back depending which side you go over the line.
    It's not harsh but can be annoying and it can be turned off on the steering wheel button. The other button to the right of the steering wheel turns
    off the beep but also turns off your blind spot indicators on your mirrors. Why they work together on the same button I'll never know?

  • @Stevegrande1
    @Stevegrande1 4 дня назад

    Ti, TiL, and warrior will pull you back in the lane, the default is off, which is opposite to the 300 series which its default is on, the button on the steering is to turn it on. It also has rear cross traffic alert. People banging on it uses 22L per 100 towing as extreme, most 4 cylinder 4wd’s are up there, the new tank 500 uses 24L per 100 and that’s towing nearly a tonne less.

    Own the 24 Warrior and Lane assist does absolutely pull on the wheel and it's infuriating. But I love the car and love the sound.

    • @dannyfeith
      @dannyfeith 5 дней назад

      The button at the bottom of the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel turns that on and off. This is on the steering wheel itself. It doesn't turn the beep off though, just the yanking of the wheel.

    • @magstheblue6576
      @magstheblue6576 5 дней назад

      @@dannyfeith Hey Danny, this is not correct. The button on the steering wheel is for both the lane assist (beeping and steering yank) and blind spot warning lights (they are both together). This is off by default and when driving that button turns both of those On. Its great cause i want the blind spot lights, but do not want the lane assist off (and beeping). I use this every day, with the sensors on while on the highway, and turn it off as soon as i hit the streets. Saying that, there are more buttons down the right side that i have not played much with, so if i can have 1 on and not the other, that would be prefect.

      @@magstheblue6576 I know the Ti and the Ti-L are a little different, I find the button on the dash lower area to the right of steering wheel turns off the lane keep beeping but also turns off my blind spot system. The button on the steering wheel itself activates the yank.

      Who needs all the digital crap anyway on the dash. At least your not playing through the infotainment unit to adjust the aircon temp like a lot of new cars, just turn the dial to desired temp. No wonder there’s so many accidents with people having to use the infotainment unit to do simple things

    22L per 100 pulling just under 3.5T. A gutless Toyota Prado will use 18/19 pulling under 3T. Patrol will leave the Prado standing up hills, and the patrol has been tested and proven to use less than a V8 twin turbo V8 diesel in the 200 series land cruiser. I’d hardly call it thirsty for towing purposes, my mates new 300 sits on 18/19 towing his van at a smidgen under 3T

    the national vehicle efficiency standard is a massive con it's a co2 tax per vehicle also co2 is not pollution as it has no direct effect on humans diesel engines on the other hand with their carcinogenic PM2.5 and high nox outputs are actually damaging to people also how much do toyota pay chasing cars because i've never once heard you mention per km co2 accept when giving the 300 series a good little plug keeping your big T overlords happy?
    fuel consumption 22/25L 100km when towing 3000+KG is good for a car that does 12/14 just moving itself you people have no idea what you are talking about put 3000KG behind a hilux ranger or 300 series and you will end up in 20L 100km territory pretty quickly maybe it's time to phase out some of the journalists working at chasing cars and hire people with some actual mechanical knowledge because these "reviews" have felt like nothing but paid marketing for the last 15/18 months

      Sadly you have very little knowledge of the cars capability just crapping on about outdated looking interior, who cares, try towing with your fully loaded 300, rangers, Hilux and then compare your fuel figures, comfort and performance. I've towed around Australia and this patrol wins hands down, your wet behind the ears you got no real experience or ability to compare what's out there what a load of BS review.

      Only if you don’t know how to use it off road. I’ll line up any other standard off road vehicle in the steepest sand dunes, patrol eats them up and spits them out. There is only about 3 manufacturers that still has active traction control on the front when using the factory rear locker, patrol is one of them. Hilux, prado’s etc all cancel out the front traction control if you engage rear locker which means the front end is doing jack 💩 except spinning wheels in mid air
