Facts, these are a grail to me! I got into the sneaker game when I was like 14 and always wanted these now I can finally grab them! Super dope color way
Damn I love how they are bringing back older shoes like this. When I was in 9th grade (over a decade ago) a lot more of us were broke and not everyone had kicks or elevated streetwear like today but I remember a big homie passed down his old metallic 5s and green beans 5s to me for one of my bdays even tho they were beat up it was crazy getting 2 what seemed unattainable shoes it was like giving a kid a pair of wings. Thanks Michael K wherever you are you made this kid feel fresh af next few years these are a must cop for me for the story great video Foam and Buck would love to hear old stories from y’all too! 🙏🔥

Green Bean is a fun nostalgic release that I enjoy more seeing other people wear lol. Buckets hit the grade on the nail. Solid 7 at best.

I hope that everyone that says they’ll pass on these won’t switch up suddenly to get these, because I’ve been wanting these since ‘06, but I couldn’t get them then, and most OG pairs are too creased up to get with the 3M material.

I think 5’s are definitely slightly on the outer tier of most popular og Jordan models, I think it has allot to do with colorways & color blocking cuz 5’s tend to be a little unimaginative. These are ok nothing I’d be thirsty for 💯

Top 5 jordan 5 retro of all time
I’m debating on whether or not to try to cop these. I usually try to get all the 5’s just because they’re one my favorite Jordan models. I guess if I got the Jades, I might as well try to get these, too.
That’s funny, because I won the Jades on SNKRS then found out the Green Beans were dropping a month later, so I blessed my friend with the Jades because I like the GB colorway a lot more & im trying not to have a bunch of J’s that are similar colorways.

Don't agree with Buckets at all on this one ... At least an 8 if not a 9 in my view. The light green, light grey and baby blue sole are just beautiful in my opinion. I don't own a Jordan 5 yet but these might just be my first ! Perfectly in time for the summer too :D

Being a lady jumping back in love with Jordan's. I am looking at both the easter and green bean in my basket right now. Trying to decided if I want them. I really love the both but I only need to cop one. Ugh. Since I went heavy with the other shoe drops. Heritage 1s, dunks, the zen. Damn .

I had the 2006 version of these in high school. They were $134 I believe. Crazy that they’re $200 now. I used my money from working at Subway to buy them. They crease like a mf.
i dont mind the creasing and like the 3m so these will be a must cop for me when they drop.
Love the 5’s (I have the off white black, fire red) but there is something about the lighter gray color (3M) that makes it too blah. If they would have thrown in some white or black contrast I think they would be much better.
I got the Oregon 5 Retro SE and they smoke these. I don’t hate them but yeah. I’d got 7.5

I can appreciate this pair for what they are but they're a pass for me personally. If there weren't so many great sneakers coming out this year, I think I'd pick up a pair but at some point I gota pull back on my purchases. I do really like the concept of the whole upper being 3M though.
