Peter Chan: bonsai master, hairdresser and chicken preparer 👍🏻 Great work, the forest is looking fabulous!
Hi Blue sky bonsai! Love your vids ❤️
hahahahahaHAHAHAHEHEH!!1
@@TTMaster-sp5sj Thanks so much
It's hard to really capture the work that Peter did for that beautiful maple forest through camera and screen, surely it will look even more beautiful in real life 😭. Much appreciated and Bravo Peter 👍. Thx for sharing and can't wait for the next one 🙏. Cheers
Some of the trees you have are like your children, you will never give away or sell. 🌲🌿🌴🌳🍃🌱🍀☘️🌳
Ha...ha....I really enjoy watching you prunning the trees just like barber cutting the hair.
Did peter just say , 10 years ago he had hair like a hippie. Lmao.
Woke up early as hell, after a near-sleepless night, and see that Peter has uploaded a new video. The ASMR in this video, and Master Chan’s voice are soothing my soul right now.
Stunning grouping and love the chicken plucker style
Beautiful job Peter. Love your Hawaiian shirts, you have style.
I planted some seeds at the beginning of lockdown in the UK in 2020 and have become inspired watching your videos.
How are they coming along now?
Need update
What a joy it must be to be able to work so casually on such wonderful trees.
I m always amazed to see ur pruning speed, n u r able to create the shapes at this speed, hats off to u
The most beautiful skill of this forest is its natural looking. It really looks like a slide of a real forest!! So congratulations, despite its old age it's so vigorous and healthy. I wonder how you could fertilize all this trees, so thank you for sharing it. I was shocked to hear Peter had hippie hair😂
Really appreciate Jack's camerawork. Very smooth and professional
Awesome forest group !!!! 💚😊👍
Awesome.
Good morning Peter. Literal video explanation of the saying "Don't let the trees prevent you from seeing the forest." Wonderful job. I had a great time, in some moments it reminded me of the movie Edward Scissors. Thanks a lot friend.
Thank you for sharing this my friend. I am captivated by the whole process. I honestly envy your wisdom ♥️ Best regards from eastern Oregon USA 🇺🇸 ✌🏼😎
Nice... 👍👍👍
I haven't played bonsai in a long time, now I'm doing an adenium project

Stunning! The beauty of the forest is only enhanced by Peter’s narrative. Always interesting and informative. Thanks from your number 1 Florida fan!! 👍🌞😎🐊🌴🦩🌞🥰
Mr. Chan, after you did your "magic", it truly does look like a lovely grove one would be delighted to come upon. to enjoy the beauty of it all around. Thank-you for a most informative, pleasant video.
Beautiful tree
Such beautiful moss. The birds keep taking my moss.
Was lovely to see the transformation.
They really need to get you a decent radio mic because I don't want to miss any of your pearls of wisdom!
Absolutely Beautiful. You certainly are a Great Teacher ☺☺☺🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🌳🌳🌳

I love forests. Marvellous, Mr.Chan 🥰
SO BEAUTIFUL...Always love love love the videos sir. Blessings Friend.
Super work 👍
Fantastic forest. Thank you for sharing this experience with us. I wish I had forty years left to make such an amazing forest too.
I hear you. Imagine what we could have created if we had found this hobby a few decades ago. But it's still nice working with the trees.
His process reminds me of when I was working in a sculpture studio.... same passion, same casual, cool vibe, same caliber of artistry
In love with this channel and him
My dream tree. I would love to own one like that one day.
A master work as usual. Thanks Peter for teaching us.
Excellent masterclass, Peter!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!! Regards from Spain.
Morning Peter. Love your group plantings. So lovely.
Amazing work!
Meraviglioso!
The still photo at 34:23 is amazing I feel you are one with this forest now
Wonderful
Gorgeous looking Maple forest, great work... Learn a lot, Greetings from Lahore, Pakistan 🇵🇰
Love you Peter I wish you could see some of the work I’ve done mostly inspired by your work.
Recently started watching this gents vids and am totally hooked on bonsai. Going to have a go at some acer palmatums I’ve had for 15+ years.
I even spotted a lovely looking hedge plant in a supermarket car park (not sure of specimen) that was clearly very mature looking at its thick trunk...anyway, it was in flower - a lovely pink....I caught myself mapping out a future bonsai...I must say I’m not planning on visiting that car park late one night, armed with spade and black sack...or am I?
What have you done to me...
Brahahaha 😂🤣 I am rolling 🤣 I understand completely what you’re saying. I have thought those very same thoughts ✌🏼😎 Best regards from eastern Oregon 🇺🇸
Haha once you’ve discovered bonsai, your life will never be the same again. Seeing possible bonsai everywhere.
The before and after's a world of difference. Love it.
That is an absolutely amazing bonsai forest!
ESPECTACULAR, se ve que disfruta de su trabajo. Gracias
Excellent work esp. drilling.
Thanks Peter. Great forest.

Io non riesco a portare con tanta tranquillità come fa lei......
👏👏👏
#RESPECT
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 thanks Peter
Superb
Imagine Mr. Chan pruning that forest with the speed of Nigel Saunders
That would take all year. And so he could start over 😅
Different artists work in different ways. 🙂
looking at hobbies i will do when i get old..
With bonsai The earlier you start the better
@@dj_koen1265 thanks for the advice but ive got plenty of things i’m doing already.. its why i said for when i get old..
"How do you see yourself in the future?" Yeah...Dear Mr Peter? Imma look up to you.
Great forest!! And such fast work!! Thanks again for the video and especially showing how you feed it! Is that a slow release fertilizer or more like a regular 10-10-10?
Like so many of your fans, I learn something from you every time. I am wondering about; if you rotate the group a few degrees clockwise, the "path" opens up and the main tree is visible - but the path leads straight up. Is that why it is the orientation it is? Also, is it worth striking some cuttings to grow some replacement trees to replenish the forest down the years, or will is age gracefully and reduce in number as the years progress?
You have good design sense - that is certainly an option.
did anyone else go crazy with the drill not being secured properly?
My god why have I not thought to use a drill to alleviate compaction in my pots before?!
There is always a first time.
Wouldn't be cool if there was some hummingbirds..
How often will you repot this beautiful forest? Thanks
Once every three or four years because the pot is very large.
Mister Hippie Chan , great forest ! Super , Say , where ' s The little robin gone, Only a winter visiter?
👍👌🍷
💕😍👍
my hornbeam forest needs pruning, will it re grow from a good pruning, worried it might not
It will. Hornbeam is an extremely vigorous species.
I think the tree looks better from the back
Or if you kept the foliage on the back i think it would make the front look better
Even the Maple Forest ended up with a COVID hairstyle.
How come you don’t show the before pics anymore before the final reveal?
Thank you for good advice kupchak began no longer already just natural most of his natural geography York on earth netflix child life on would 🥰🥰
Peter, I am about to start my own tree and attempt to carry it on into Bonsai. I have dug up and refined clay for a pot I will sculpt and fire myself. Are there any trees you would recommend with your vast experience, that I could achieve reasonable results with?
Thank you.
even though i am not peter... may start with a european beech but it still depend on your climate ?!
Use local trees that grow well in your area so you can be sure they will survive the winters
What can one say, but "Shibui!"
Can you bonsai a royal purple smoke tree? I think that would be a beautiful tree to dwarf
Hello @Peter, thanks again for inspire video.... i made also new group of basic maple wich are grow in Czech republic... in video you are talking about well feeding the trees.... could you tell me which feeder are you using for group of tree and also in what period - i dont see any mark of feeder like BioGold or something like that.... Thank you so much for any answer.
HAHAHAHA :D my answer is in the end of video :D
How beautiful wonderful job. However please get a lapel mic so we can hear you, I constantly have to turn the volume up and down, up and down So annoying.
U can shape YOUR bonsai how ever the f U want.... 🤫🥱😴

" Can't see the forest for the trees " .
Could you not wire and reDirect the front tree out of the way of the principal…If not why?
At that age it must be unbendable.
Excuse for my question: could be a viable option to move the tree in the front to the right of the pot and then to see the main tree ? Thanks
Cut it off !!!
How do you keep the moss so green?
Kim🇨🇦
Morning Master, can i mixte different sorts of Maple to make a forest ? Is it beautiful ? Sorry for my english, i'm french 🤔
Can you tell me when I search up mountain maple the results show a very different leaf to the ones on this planting?! Can anyone explain please?
I'm watching someone trim a 6 digit forest group (and learning a few secrets) and I can't even afford wire or the tools (sigh).
