The fact that Josh can obviously care for his physique while simultaneously and consistently acting with complete disregard for his body never ceases to amaze me.
This show is like watching the cooking channel except by half way through each episode I’ve already entirely forgotten what we’re cooking and frankly forgotten that cooking is even the end goal and I couldn’t care less. Love it.

I love mythical kitchen, as an avid home cook I consume a fair amount of food/cooking content. Mythical kitchen has hit this magical middle ground in this genre. It encapsulates the wild wacky vibes that make it entertaining outside of the food, but the key for me is; where every other channel that does stuff like this its all "8Lbs of bacon and american cheese heart attack burger!!!!" Whereas mythical kitchens crew develops some crazy yet inspiring international dishes, im always learning of new flavours and cuisines in combinations ive never seen. The key of a cooking show is it really inspires you to cook and create, Mythical kitchen does that for me in a way no one has since Jacques Pépin.

Pro tip from a guy that has been making mayo in my home kitchen for several years: Start with your egg, then add about a Tbs of acid per egg, about the same amount of mustard of your choice, and a pinch of salt per egg as well. Do this in a narrow container that your immersion blender will fit in. You don't have to fuss with adding your oil super slowly. Add enough oil to submerge the blender, and then continue adding oil while running the immersion blender on high until the mayo is thick enough for your taste. The more oil you add, the thicker it gets.

Yes! I am confused why they were so worked up about making mayonnaise. I made it at home when I was clean eating. I used the method you described. It was simple and delicious.
@@jacquesbrat2834 They have failed at making it multiple times, and the fact that it is extremely simple is why it's a funny thing to reference and even funnier to get pumped about succeeding.
I'm so sad that Vi made that beautiful multicolor taco shell and it got completely wrapped up in the naan so you couldn't see it as you ate. It was art.

Chalupa shells are made from Gordita shells. There is a fry rack that holds 4/5 at a time in a u shape. Least how it was when I worked there 20 years ago.

Where MCJ is tasked with hiding or not hiding bologna in every course of a 10 course meal, served to Rhett & Link who have to guess whether or not josh has hidden his bologna in it or not. Yes this means hiding bologna in a dessert course too.

Y’all are the best. And the CGC is the best item from Taco Bell! Love this episode! Also, side note, I learned from a food blogger how to make really good mayo super easily. Put the egg, salt, light EVOO, and a tiny bit of lemon juice in a jar and blend with an immersion blender. Hold it over the yolk for like 30 seconds then blend it all together. Perfect texture every time!
I never thought I would see you guys cook food with Feni. That stuff is potent. I also have a small jar of Roasted Naga chilli right next to me and I was tempted to add some to my food lol.

This has been the goat Taco Bell item in my opinion since it premiered like 25 years ago. I remember the commercials, I remember trying my first one, and I remember it sending me to the freaking moon with flavor. I literally always get one in my order, I don't care how expensive they get
It's not even close to the same since they got rid of baja sauce and replaced it with spicy ranch back in 2014. I really miss the original cheesy gordita crunch and the original grilled stuffed burrito (which also had baja sauce).

Josh, even though your mayo worked (whish is epic), salt can ruin the emulsion from happening. You should always add salt (and other flavors) after the emulsion comes together.

But this video is a special surprise for me as I know some of the ingredients from the recipe and let me tell you this "BHUT JOLOKIA" chilli is really hot. Immersion blenders are great for making mayo. You dont have to worry about slowly streaming in the oil, you can just put all the ingredients in a tall measuring cup and youll have mayo in a few seconds
I think (don't know) it came before the gordita, but my favorite from the 90s was the double-decker taco with nacho cheese. It was a crunchy taco inside a regular soft taco shell with nacho cheese binding them together. As Josh mentioned it solved the crunchy taco problem of breaking apart in your hand, and who doesn't love more cheese?!
Nacho (dorito) cheesy gordita crunch with chunk chicken and no lettuce or the quesarito with chunk chicken are my go to taco bell mains 🤤
I now have a dream to taste mythical kitchen foods. They all look soooooo good. Makes me hungry ever time.
