I initially read the second one as "Robin Hood and his Merry Men Kidnapped *by* the Vicar of Wakefield" and I think that would be an equally brilliant story.
Arthur, I've been wondering: Have you invented any brilliant self-isolation meals? I'd love to try out some of your recipes, if only to relieve the boredom, especially ones that have "surprise" in the name.
@m I hadn't thought of that. But I'm sure Arthur wouldn't mind sharing some of his less secret recipes with us. I just need some suggestions for things to go with this Ribena I've just mulled.
@@joannelamb8150 *looks furtively* Nope, definitely not me, I've seen what they do to Scottish CMOs, never mind nobodies like me! 😁 I wuz at home the whole time!

Hello Arthur, what a beautiful episode good luck with the beard! My daughters haven't taken over the typing this time so it is really me here writing, it feels like talking really. I tried having a go at getting the stories or poems or both from books but my shelves are full of non-fiction and I didn't get far. Then I found the books wanting to work in pairs answering one another so I got: "What Wood is That?"-"Enquire Within" and "Food from your Garden"-"Daffodil and Golden Eagle" plus my favourite "Funerals and How to Improve Them"- "Kites"!
Once again, you are doing a brilliant job isolating Arthur! And from now on I will on accept Amiable Polar Bear as the correct full name for Amy Poehler!
After the funeral is very under rated. I'm surprised Arthur hasn't made a new hat, but then as we previously agreed, no visible hat can do justice to the theoretical hat in our heads.
As much as I want his dreams to come true, I'm not too keen to wait here at home until the day he discovers that it's a long, white, pointy beard, like a wizard's.
OMG Shlomia is the one who intorduced me to John Finnemore and Cabin Pressure. And to hear you say her name gave me such joy. Im really tearing up. Thanks for doing this Arthur. you are brilliant.

I'll have to see if I can't suggest that to the colleagues next. In the meantime, a big hello wave from my flat in Germany!
Dear Arthur, Hugh Laurie is an actor who played in Jeeves and wooster. You might have watched it on telly with your mum as a child. Your mum remind me of his aunt Agatha in the show. He also played that mean doctor with the funny name that made you think that "the little house on the prairie" must be a book about his childhood. And now he is a spacepilot. How cool is that a doctor and a spacepilot. Good thing that you didn't guess that it was Teresa that had grown a beard. She would have been mad.
Loved this one! It was interesting to see that Arthur’s granny had a book all about Timbuktu, just the thing for when you fly Mr. Birling to Timbuktu. (Or should that be “Timbuktu Timbuktu”?)
Did I read that after working on Gerti you was invited to be interviewed by Patsy Straight-Woman? That must have been brilliant! I would have loved to see that - she is my favourite person on that irreverent souvenir pamphlet show.
Another great episode. Here's another game you might like Arthur... stories, advice or quips from company names or acronyms. For example: Ford - Fix Or Repair Daily. FIAT - Fix It Again Tomorrow. Volvo - Very Old Large Vehicle Owner... SMEG Sometimes Makes Eggs Green, SAMSUNG Sometimes Arthur Makes Some Useful New Games. Have a great few days. We're looking forward to the next episode already! The Lowestoft Lemon crew.
Hey Arthur, I can't wait to see what kind of beard you get! Here is another idea for a game with book... Books that sound more interesting with the author's name in the tittle. For example: Harry Potter and the Philosopher Rowling Stone.
Apparently, they’re actually getting married- only Martin has to first take a test to become an official citizen so that he can, and he’s determined to score perfectly on it. That’s the last I heard of them, anyway!
Martin is stalling for time because he's not entirely sure princess bitchenstein is right for him. I personally think Hester macaulay fell in love with him in cremona, and has been pining for him ever since, desperately trying to be a better person, but painfully aware she's not good enough for him. Shes even got paramount martin work in films, and coached him on his technique.
@@lynntolmon285 I really hope Arthur doesn't read your comment because I'm sure he'd be horrified to see someone call his wonderful friend Teresa something so rude!
Arthur, your theme song is starting to sound quite recognizable to me! Good job! And do commend Douglas for his piano teaching. Also, isn't your mum right on the other side of the wall? She could just leave a razor on your doormat or in your mailbox, couldn't she? No need to trouble the post, I'm sure they're already plenty busy. Of course, if you want to keep the beard, there's no need for her to leave a razor anywhere. It looks brown and fuzzy to me at the moment but I'm sure you can achieve a wizard beard if you want one! You'll have to be very patient though. I shall have to think of book titles that make stories or poems… hmm…
