haldex service VW

The customer was complaining of a slight judder coming from the rear of the vehicle and I advised them that if the haldex has never been serviced this will give the symptoms that they are experiencing! as you can see I changed the filter which VW says that doesn't exist! me being me knew that it's the same set up as what land rover used which is the gen 4 from 2009 onwards, I called the local land rover supplier and they had the full kit and oil in stock.
car now drives as it should.

I had the same on a 2011 Tiguan, no record of Haldex being serviced, VW insistent that no filter existed in it, and i would get a judder or jump in reverse from the rear, all done and much better, but still get a little jump from rear occasionally but then it was on 90k with no evidence of change.

they are stupid, they told me also this filter is not designed to be changed.. so it should stay there until it brakes and you would need to buy new haldex or new car
