“blackface jumanji” now alanda😂😂😂 this movie is so up your alley I’m glad you watched it. (I am NOT rushing nothing but you have sooooo many sequels to get too! you’re our new final girl we need you to pull throughhh)😂much luvv!!
"Everyone gets shit over Spades! It's not like someone revoked your black card!" "No Lisa, you're incorrect! Thats exactly what you said! You said "Yeah ni$#a, your black cards revoked!" Thats what you said!" "Yeah, that tracks..." LMAO! I cried laughing in theatres.
I love that the park ranger "invited to the cookout" was Dietrich Bader, who played the white guy Aunt Janice married on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air! Especially since they had to answer a Fresh Prince question at one point lol.
yeah he's one of the most underrated comedy actors, he always play secondary roles or minor roles but he always brings his A-game to it. He once played a gay concubine on a movie called Balls of Fury, I had a crush on him then, still do.
If you have a quick little research trivia, the killer is revealed at the beginning simply by the Apple/android line since Apple don’t allow their products in the movie if the villain is the one using the product but Android does
I watched The Blackening last weekend. I was dying laughing. It was so good. I called the killer early because, why are you here, Clifton?! 😂 I thought the cast was outstanding! I loved every single person. If I had to do that quiz alone, I would have been d-e-a-d! With the Friends question, I was like, "I thought Aisha was the only black person to appear on Friends. Ah, who cares. I was watching Living Single." When that was the answer, I cackled!
I literally said that I watched Living Single and then.......the answer was the same.😂 Friends just wasn't my cup of tea. I seen a few episodes and they were ok, like I wasn't mad at it but, it still just didn't hit like Living Single did.
@@ButterfliLoe1380I mad my answer was I didn't watch that show 😂. And yes Clifton as soon as he came on the screen I said "Nope not doing this; Him! I can see it! I don't trust him! He gotta go!" 😂
I am not black, but what I love about this movie is that I've been able to learn from it. Yes, I'm laughing at the jokes, but I'm also being educated as well. I love that.
Brandy surviving I Still Know What You Did Last Summer was ICONIC 💅🏿 Especially since it came out after Scream 2 killed Jada in the opening. Another one that comes to mind is LL Cool J in Halloween H20... although the real threat to him wasn't even Michael Myers, it was the trigger happy guidance counselor Ms. Laurie Strode was banging 👀
This movie had me cracking up from start to finish. I also like the point it was making about how we, as a community, tend to quantify Blackness and the effects that can have on people
OMG clifton was my favorite (followed by dwayne) all of his lil sidenotes like the "you wanna use my glasses" and then turning the gun rightside up when namdi was shooting and at the end when he gets shot and he says to dwayne "you're gay???" like had me rolling🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and slurping the drink outta the girl hand🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't forget in the store, when he bumps into Shanika and says “Hey. Stranger Danger”. Also, when Shanika hugs Lisa and says she smells dick. Clifton says “I accidentally smelled some of the dick.” 🤣🤣
9:14, so true. My aunt's ex was abusive during their marriage and they divorced. Now they're really close friends with a great friendship but I STILL have a hard time forgiving him even though SHE HAS and she's asked me "If I've gotten over it and it happened to me, why can't you?" and I told her "Because you're my aunt and I can't imagine not meeting you bc of him." (My Mom says her sister got the divorce when I was just a few months old, so I wouldn't have remembered her had he unalived her at that age for me).
Also its easy to forgive someone for things they did to you because most people dont value themselves that much. But to someone you love? I will fuckin carry that hate to the grave. How dare they
@emanon0229 Yup, so true. Even when I got into an abusive relationship RIGHT after my Grandpa died, everyone was trying to talk some sense into me, but the ONLY voice I heard was that same aunt. She said, "D (my nephew, who is now 12, almost 13, who was around 18 months at the time) is still a baby. He LOVES his auntie. He LOVES you. If you stay with Corey (fuck him, name dropped), there may come a day where things get the worst they ever could, and I'm afraid that D is so young, he won't remember you." THAT snapped me TF out of it, and I dumped Corey.
This movie was so good, a really great theater experience with a crowd. Super funny, I hope we see more from everyone because they all crushed it. Another great reaction! If it’s not too soon to jump into the Ari Aster well again, I hope you watch Midsommar before the summer is over! I will say Hereditary to me is much more viscerally scary, but still. Get ready to GAG, in more ways than one.
This movie really was for us and the relatability and it's also been cool seeing other people's reactions as well. I saw one reactor that actually thought they were telepathically communicating lol, it's been great
Your reaction brought me so much joy! One thing I loved about this movie is how it asks the question of “If we have an all Black cast in a horror movie, who dies first” and ultimately it subverts the very question it asks by letting all the main cast live. It felt so refreshing and a true subversion of the trope that Black characters all die in horror films. I can’t even remember the last time an all white cast all lived so this just shows how powerful Black folk are. Loved this film so much! ❤️
i saw this in theaters twice with two different friend groups and 4 of them were straight white men who just DID NOT GET IT. this movie was right up my alley. i was looking forward to this SO much and i thoroughly enjoyed it. this is my humor. this was one of my most anticipated movies of the year & it did not disappoint. i’m glad you enjoyed it as much as i did but this is one that i wish you got to experience in theaters on opening night, trust me the audience (my friends aside) did not disappoint.
I'm so happy to see your first time reaction, but also wish you could have had the theater experience, too. The feeling of being in a theater and everyone singing the O'Reilly theme song and quoting Sister Mary Clarence, so good!

❤❤❤❤❤ I am so glad you took on THE BLACKENING. I LOVED the original movie poster, the social media campaign with full-face character posters (each one featuring a different question from the expanded game)... but the best part was saved for AFTER THE FEATURE - as a THANK YOU to fans - THE BLACKENING as an actual GAME SHOW, featuring creators & cast members (as themselves, not the characters) split into 2 teams ala MATCH GAME, answering BRAND NEW QUESTIONS to see who could win the game without seeing the answers in the script. Watched the movie last night so now I could FINALLY watch this video! So I watched BOTH shows... but Living Single you can watch over and over again and its STILL GREAT! This movie was really good. Nice flow between the Horror and the comedy. I did call out the killer before the halfway mark! 😁But that didn't ruin nothing...
I literally watched this last night. Funny AF, but if I wish Shawn & Morgan got to play with the red. Also the right answer to the first question is Marlon Wayans in A Haunted House or Madea in her two Halloween films. PS if I was King, I would slapped Clifton before killing him at the end of the movie.
If I'm being honest, I was worried I wouldn't get the humor and that this movie wasn't made for me, but being a big horror fan and especially loving horredies, I felt I had to go. My theater was actually a good mix of people and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

This movie was really good. Nice flow between the Horror and the comedy. I did call out the killer before the halfway mark! 😁But that didn't ruin nothing...
I love how much you enjoyed this! Cant wait to see it!
Great reactions as always. This was such a fun movie to watch with a big crowd 😂 (Watched it opening weekend in theaters)
I watched this so I could watch your reaction.
100% not disappointed!!
Same😂
Literally one of the funniest movies I have ever watched. 😂
this was very entertaining, your reactions definitely enhanced the experience🧡
I literally watched this last night. Funny AF, but if I wish Shawn & Morgan got to play with the red. Also the right answer to the first question is Marlon Wayans in A Haunted House or Madea in her two Halloween films. PS if I was King, I would slapped Clifton before killing him at the end of the movie.
If I'm being honest, I was worried I wouldn't get the humor and that this movie wasn't made for me, but being a big horror fan and especially loving horredies, I felt I had to go. My theater was actually a good mix of people and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
I've never heard of horredies before but I like it!
@@rahbeeuh thank you! I kind of just made it up a couple years back when writing reviews on Letterboxd bc I got tired of continually writing "horror comedy" lol
A movie I highly recommend is Misery. It's based off a book written by Steven king and the acting is phenomenal
Pretty sure she's seen & reacted to it but if I'm wrong I would love for her reaction.
@@iveywebb i looked and i didn’t see it
