Great episode. I was a little concerned since Monday morning I do my Bible studies and then listen to this podcast. It was a little later but I’m so glad I watched it ❤
Your answer to the Eve question was profound and why I consider you wise counsel. Why God allowed sin in the first place always bothered me. He has the ability to make a perfect world and a perfect human that doesn't sin, so why didn't He? Your answer gives me a much food for thought. So thank you for that.
Little slow in watching today as had things to take care of but try my best to never miss it. The first person question asking about rather or not to try ivf to try and have another kid or just be happy with the 2 daughters they have. I am so glad you mentioned adoption as there are so many kids in foster care that need a loving parent(s). With anonymous asking about changing churches or not when you were talking about exponentially going through the Bible and you mentioned taking so many weeks to go through Mark it made me laugh thinking about how many weeks it took Chad to go through Mark on his Take and Read podcast, I think it was around 63 weeks(could be wrong) but it took a long time.
Without the fall we couldn’t really see/understand his mercy, grace, holiness and LOVE. Christ coming to redeem a fallen people puts His love on display as well as His holiness.
Right now at church we are working through Colossians. Amber said on her arise that your church has finished Colossians .i am in awe of the supremecy of our God.
There's a difference between getting involved 8n peopl3w bussines... and saying " hey brother, I've notice you've had X going on, and wanted you to know we're here for ya". Alot of the problem is people just go " omg your going to hell go away". That's the biggest problem. Because we are ALL sinners. None of us are perfect. So the ones who are "judgy" and push fellow church members away are not doing it right. The church I started going to has been great. People were not judgy like that but offered help and guidance and Prayer etc. But none said we shouldn't be there. None treated us like shit when we were first going, still identifying as athiest and going through a change...and ultimately that's what helped bring me to God. And it was a Christian church. I notice catholics don't do this. It was always my experience that catholics spread slot of hate and judgment on people and that's what ultimately pushed me to athiesim wheb I was younger.
Thank you for taking your time to do these podcasts Granger. I love how you work through the questions.
May the Lord bless you from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic! I'm so happy to listen to you!

You mind your own business and move along, otherwise you are judging and that's not your place.
Not always. We are instructed to hold each other accountable.
