100% agree with that! Shame it doesn’t have a built in thumb stud, but I get the 1 handed opening restrictions in some parts of Europe
Really excited for that button lock penguin and the slip joint penguin, would like to see a reversible wire clip on the slip joint tho

Peacock is a great name for that knife, really like those opening studs matching with the inset.
Kerv would be a good name for that Persian inspired one. Farsi for curve.

Love the kitchen knife range. I'm always on the look out for some 'show off' blades - knives that you can bring to the table for example if you're going to carve at the table. Just something with a little bling without costing too much. Based on past experience, QSP pricing should be spot on. Sharp blades all.

Piglet is my desk knife. Great quality and value.
Would like to dip my toes into button locks, it's one of the few actions I've never even considered, but now everyone seems to be making one. I think QSP has a great lineup of knives for budget conscience folks like myself.
My man said "we don't have any assisted knives" that's what I'm talkin about!

If QSP comes across this, PLEASE try to implement sharpening choils or improve your separation of your plunge grind and edges! Almost all of my models develop a smile on the plunge grind after one or two sharpenings. I use diamond plates for sharpening, but those plunge grinds can damage the edges of traditional stones.

Time to buy a selection of QSP knives for Christmas gifts.
I really like that folding Canary, especially at that price point. I'd like to see them add a layer covering the holes over the liners, but that's really nitpicking.
There is a lot to like at QSP...
That Penguin slip joint will probably sell well even in the US. But that button lock Penguin is hawwwt.
Would love to see more budget QSP options with 14C28N over D2. Other than that, they seem to be really knocking it out of the park.
Penguin slip joint and button lock are very good ideas hope the button lock is on the regular one not the mini.

The Persian shaped knife could be called the Avocet which is a wadding bird with an upturned beak similar shape and it the bird family.
Love the look of that penguin slip joint. Need more colors in the Canary, orange handle and a brighter blue handle please😀.

For the curved one call it “Persian shaped knife”. Or call it an Osprey, Ibis, Peregrine, or Caracara with the curved beak
A penguin with some serrations in a tough stainless and a glass breaker would make an awesome rescue knife.

Qsp and kizer are the only Chinese budget OEM's I buy from. I still prefer kizer though only become they offer a large variety of steel's other then 14C28n and for a very reasonable price, 154cm is now kizers base steel I don't think their even using n690 anywhere. Im gonna have to test out one these qsps button locks to see if the action can compete with kizers. Gemini knife center exclusive button lock in 4v and cormorant are going to be hard to beat.
What’s the overall blade length on that Penguin SJ? Hoping it’s no more than 3” to make it legal for EDC over here in the U.K. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

That beautiful Persian $50.00 Green Micarta knife, should be names (Firuzan) who was a powerful Persian aristocrat who was the leader of the Parsig (Persian) faction that controlled much of the affairs of the Sasanian Empire. He was killed at the Battle of Nahāvand in 642.

My name suggestion for the Persian knife would be the QSP POP acronym for Prince of Persia 😅
My $.02 would be to ditch those thumb studs...once you have a button lock with a flipper you're good. I don't think a knife needs three different opening methods, it just looks cluttered.

All these knife look the same. Everyone trying to make clevers and outrageous handles. Bunch of Chinese-made components if not fully made products. I might as well plug my ears, close my eyes and start humming loudly.
Thank god they don’t have assisted knives. QSP and Civivi have nailed simple and high quality pocket knives 🫡
