Peacock is a great name for that knife, really like those opening studs matching with the inset. Kerv would be a good name for that Persian inspired one. Farsi for curve.
Love the kitchen knife range. I'm always on the look out for some 'show off' blades - knives that you can bring to the table for example if you're going to carve at the table. Just something with a little bling without costing too much. Based on past experience, QSP pricing should be spot on. Sharp blades all.
Name suggestion for the "Persian Shaped" knife: Remex. It's the name of the long stiff wing feathers on a bird. BTW, I'm REALLY looking forward to also adding these new Penguin models to my collection.
Would like to dip my toes into button locks, it's one of the few actions I've never even considered, but now everyone seems to be making one. I think QSP has a great lineup of knives for budget conscience folks like myself.
I really like that folding Canary, especially at that price point. I'd like to see them add a layer covering the holes over the liners, but that's really nitpicking.
That big ole persian blade with green micarta should be called the *Emu* . The name for a big ole land bird, with an up-swept neck, to go with the big ole knife design, with an up-swept blade lol
If QSP comes across this, PLEASE try to implement sharpening choils or improve your separation of your plunge grind and edges! Almost all of my models develop a smile on the plunge grind after one or two sharpenings. I use diamond plates for sharpening, but those plunge grinds can damage the edges of traditional stones.
Qsp and kizer are the only Chinese budget OEM's I buy from. I still prefer kizer though only become they offer a large variety of steel's other then 14C28n and for a very reasonable price, 154cm is now kizers base steel I don't think their even using n690 anywhere. Im gonna have to test out one these qsps button locks to see if the action can compete with kizers. Gemini knife center exclusive button lock in 4v and cormorant are going to be hard to beat.
My $.02 would be to ditch those thumb studs...once you have a button lock with a flipper you're good. I don't think a knife needs three different opening methods, it just looks cluttered.
That beautiful Persian $50.00 Green Micarta knife, should be names (Firuzan) who was a powerful Persian aristocrat who was the leader of the Parsig (Persian) faction that controlled much of the affairs of the Sasanian Empire. He was killed at the Battle of Nahāvand in 642.
All these knife look the same. Everyone trying to make clevers and outrageous handles. Bunch of Chinese-made components if not fully made products. I might as well plug my ears, close my eyes and start humming loudly.
Really excited for that button lock penguin and the slip joint penguin, would like to see a reversible wire clip on the slip joint tho
I think they should add a reversible pocket clip onto that slip joint Penguin.
Absolutely
Yeah man short sighted.
Does that matter much on two hand knife?
@@Bolfiik For me it does. I hate just tossing a knife into my pocket and having it wedge itself sideways.
100% agree with that! Shame it doesn’t have a built in thumb stud, but I get the 1 handed opening restrictions in some parts of Europe
Nice line up. I like the slip joint.
I want that Persian one
Peacock is a great name for that knife, really like those opening studs matching with the inset.
Kerv would be a good name for that Persian inspired one. Farsi for curve.
for the "persian shaped" one. Avocet - its a species of bird with an upwept beak
That Persian blade! 💜💜💜
We had a really nice chat with David of QSP at Blade Show Texas this year. My wife adores the Mamba she picked up from the booth!
QSP Raptor for the Persian.
That little fixie is sick
Love the kitchen knife range. I'm always on the look out for some 'show off' blades - knives that you can bring to the table for example if you're going to carve at the table. Really like QSP. Got the Hawk S35/carbon version and just ordered the Lark. Keep up the good work QSP and thanks KC!
The National Bird of Iran is the Nightingale. That would be a good name for the 'Persian style blade'
Also that sexy all black penguin is a missed chance for some white liners to get that black and white penguin motif
"Sultan" for the Persian blade.
New knives *YES*
Name suggestion for the "Persian Shaped" knife: Remex.
It's the name of the long stiff wing feathers on a bird.
BTW, I'm REALLY looking forward to also adding these new Penguin models to my collection.
I came up with the *Emu*
Big ole land bird with up-swept neck, for a big ass persian blade with an upswept tip lol
Button Lock Penguin in S35VN as well…..with several options on handles materials 😊
Would like to dip my toes into button locks, it's one of the few actions I've never even considered, but now everyone seems to be making one. I think QSP has a great lineup of knives for budget conscience folks like myself.
Have you used ibis yet? Would be a good name for that Persian.
Avocet for the Persian?
Piglet is my desk knife. Great quality and value.
That penguin slippy looks great
As a admitted penguin addict, I gotta get those new versions!!🤘💜🤙🐧
Front flipper Penguin please :)
Please tell me there is now a name for the knife coming up at 3:02
Penguin slip joint and button lock are very good ideas hope the button lock is on the regular one not the mini.
I hope they do the button lock in the XL size too.
@@kevinstryker6440 yeah that too.
I really like that folding Canary, especially at that price point. I'd like to see them add a layer covering the holes over the liners, but that's really nitpicking.
I’ll buy that black button lock penguin with black or gray micarta any day of the week. Love the flipper left on it too
Time to buy a selection of QSP knives for Christmas gifts.
That Persian blade--how about the Horus? An Egyptian god portrayed as a falcon.
I want one of the kitchen knives
Finally! A button Penguin! Put one on order for me!
That big ole persian blade with green micarta should be called the *Emu* .
The name for a big ole land bird, with an up-swept neck, to go with the big ole knife design, with an up-swept blade lol
Would love to see more budget QSP options with 14C28N over D2. Other than that, they seem to be really knocking it out of the park.
There is a lot to like at QSP...
I’d buy that 14c28n button lock penguin. Great for my work. I hope you make it.
Love the look of that penguin slip joint. Need more colors in the Canary, orange handle and a brighter blue handle please😀.
Great knife's , I would like to see a button lock front flipper penguin
That Penguin slip joint will probably sell well even in the US. But that button lock Penguin is hawwwt.
The Persian shaped knife could be called the Avocet which is a wadding bird with an upturned beak similar shape and it the bird family.
My man said "we don't have any assisted knives" that's what I'm talkin about!
QSP Poleon - that upswept blade
A penguin with some serrations in a tough stainless and a glass breaker would make an awesome rescue knife.
QSP slipjoint is very Cowabunga.!
Button lock Penguin! Nuff said!!
Really love them going with 14C28N, too!
You got the Penguin- what about the riddler?
I want to know what happened to the Tanto knife he promised at the last knife show.
That murdered out button lock penguin does look sick
For the curved one call it “Persian shaped knife”. Or call it an Osprey, Ibis, Peregrine, or Caracara with the curved beak
Didn't know QSP stands for quality service price. ❤❤
The name for the Persian knife.. the "Scarab"
Persian blade? How about the QSP Prince
Love the Persian. Kat would be a great name... Persian Kat
Qsp and kizer are the only Chinese budget OEM's I buy from. I still prefer kizer though only become they offer a large variety of steel's other then 14C28n and for a very reasonable price, 154cm is now kizers base steel I don't think their even using n690 anywhere. Oh my gosh, I'm SO STOKED for the button lock penguin!
That Persian blade shape one should have been the 🦏
I would call the first unnamed knife the Aladdin.
Mr. Anderson have you met with the oracle? You are the chosen one.
Lots of penguins, but no XL button locks. Let's go QSP, 4 inch plus bladed Penguin button lock, no thumb studs.
I wished that their unnamed Persian style folder would come with a thumbstud.
My name suggestion for the Persian knife would be the QSP POP acronym for Prince of Persia 😅
Peeacok is dooope smoove
QSP please be sure and put a pocket clip on the penguin slip joint. If people don't want it, they can take it off.
my suggestion for QSP persian knife: Zenda
Jiiieha … Penguin Dlipjoint with savety choil. This will be in my focus big time.
Name for persian knife- Prince of Pierce-Ya.
The penguin didn't need improving as it was already perfect... buuut I'm not complaining
Everyone needs a penguin. Or 10.
Fixed blade: penguin, 6inch blade, call it the “emperor”
They should call the Persian knife the "Jaafar".
QSP, your missing the chance to make a folding hatchet or similar camp tool and calling it the axolotl.
Please name the Persian shaped knife "Turkey Buzzard."
Button lock rhino!
Love the slip joints.
Makes the Jack Wolf's look even more of a rip-off than they are already. Made in China all the way.
cuttlefish
Name idea for the Persian style: the Ayatollah! come on guys 😂
Blade material on the swordfish is disappointing
Too BIG
All these knife look the same. Everyone trying to make clevers and outrageous handles. Bunch of Chinese-made components if not fully made products. I might as well plug my ears, close my eyes and start humming loudly.
59063 Judd Shoal
Thank god they don’t have assisted knives. QSP and Civivi have nailed simple and high quality pocket knives 🫡
