1st of all you are my go 2 channel whenever i purchase shoes. I just bought the NB v13 .The shoe feels at home at slow paces since the lack of responsiveness means that whenever you try to pick up the pace you have to hit the pavement much harder and i ended up with sore legs. Also there is an issue with sizing ,i initially purchased the same size i have on the rebel v3 which turned out to be big so i went half size down which is a bit short lengthwise, (its actually spot on but i do prefer shoes with a bit more room )

I have put in 62.3 miles (yes I had to check strava) in the 1080V13 so far , and as a runner who is always between 80-90kg depending on where I am in training I find the foam in the shoe a welcome contridiction , For me there are two area's where this show excels. 1: low upper zone 1/ low zone 2 (as stated here the recovery area). 2: strides and hill sprints where when I put some serious / fast twitch force into each step; The foam then rebounds very well. It will not beat a dedicated fast shoe or a barefoot shoe, but it is still enjoyable.

8:58 that’s how I felt when I tried the 25’s. They felt sort of unnatural or something kinda like they just weren’t built to my feet’s dimensions - the 1080 feel almost like they were custom or something.

Every preson has a different shoe anatomy. I loved both Gel Numbis 26 (1/2 size down) and 1080 V13 (true to size) they were both comfortable but 1080 V13 fit better like a glove and felt more natural when walking. They were softer too and that feels good.

The way the nimbus upper tongue and heel hug my feet is miles better than any other brand out there. After testing all its still no.1 the midsole is fantastic and competes vs other brands best mids aswell but where they separate from the rest is quality and design of the uppers

I’m a big guy who isn’t a runner - bad feet/joints etc. I’ve already said many times - if you are looking for 1 of these for casual wear maybe running errands or going shopping, going somewhere for a full day Disneyland type stuff - the 1080v13 is absurd. I’ve never felt anything so soft. I had no idea shoes could be so soft to be honest. I had the 1080v12 and they were good except for the front of the shoe just didn’t quite have enough cushion towards the ball of my foot. Was probably fine for most but for my messed up feet - they would just get a bit sore there. Not in the 13’s. I’m still shocked to be honest. I haven’t tried the Nimbus 26 but the 1080v13 miles softer than the 25. I need wide sizes so when I can I’ll be picking up a few more pairs here in Oz.

When I first saw a specialist I was 235 (I’m a big guy even in shape) medications have fucked me up - but without them I can’t walk (anti inflammatory steroids) the Nimbus 25 were soft under foot but a bit more stability feeling for me? And that actual shoe itself wasn’t a great fit 🤷‍♂️ but I should be clear - it’s me not the shoes. If you saw my toes you wouldn’t be able to finish dinner 😂😂 I’m gonna try the 26’s they look great. I’m so happy to have the 1080’s though - not perfect but for me amazing (and again the not perfect part is definitely me not the shoes)

I had planter fasciitis and had to wear hoka bondis. They worked. Anyway, I had several pair of the 1080v13 and love them. However, today I bought the Nimbus 26 and was blown away at how comfortable they are. I only had them on for 10 minutes but they feel way better than the 1080’s. Im shook haha

@@panhandlemtb4308 oh shit ima have to try them. I think from memory size vs size the 25 are actually a touch lighter than the gel nimbus 26?? But in hand when I felt them they felt a lot lighter in hand 🤷‍♂️ I found the 25 to be not as soft/comfortable as the 1080’s but the gel nimbus 25 just wasn’t a great fit as well the shoe itself didn’t have a good feel. I haven’t had the chance to try the 26’s yet when I do I’m coming back here to report 😂😂
