My Mate20X bought in 2019 is still quite smooth with updated Harmony OS 3.0, Now i use both Mate 60 pro and Mate20 x, perhaps no need to buy new moble phone in coming 3-5years

I would even be bold enough to say that the major cities in China are now overall cleaner looking than the major cities in the US.Huawei's headquarters is in Shenzhen. I have to say this hardware especially with so many small subtle touches, is just beautiful. Really love the treatment of that display design. I hate curved displays but it looks like Huawei is giving users like me the best part of a flat display but sort of like 2.5D glass edges with a slight curve all the way around so it don't dig into your hand when holding it for a long period of time. Really thoughtful design.

Finally, I can get Huawei as my daily driver again after years they got banned. I was impressed with Huawei with their balanced performance and efficiency. Great job on getting it so quickly, going by your viewer count there is great interest in this phone outside China. Thank you! The zoom camera appears to be using a smaller sensor than the P60 Pro according to a tear down video, despite both being 48MP 3.5X. The aperture is also not as good and takes a step back to what they had on the P/Mate 50 Pro. It's not supposed to be an improvement in the camera department over the P-series, so I'm not fussed about it. I'm really excited for the return of the Kirin SOC and the introduction of their domestic chip production. I think we will see rapid development from now on. It's a major achievement to produce a phone with their own CPU/GPU design and domestic 7nm process on the level of their previous Mate 40 Pro with Kirin 9000 on 5nm+ which used ARM cores and Mali GPU.

I don't think the signal strength would be that good this time around. Mate 30 pro and mate 40 pro were the peak, mate 50 pro not so much, even a downgrade in term of signal strength, mate 60 pro maybe just a small improvement over mate 50 pro as they've got a new design.
For a smart phone, I do not expect the P60 pro to be comparable to a dedicated zoom camera, but it does appear to be very capable under a lot of shooting conditions...It certainly can do much better than a lot of smart phones on the market....
I am very happy for Huawei that they were able to make their own processors, despite the sanctions. I'm waiting for the start of sales of mate x5 and tablets on Kirin.even taking into account the old type of memory (ufs 3.1, not ufs4), optimization with Huawei's own processors is always much better both in the operating system and in terms of cameras

It is just a smart phone...not a dedicated camera. People normally use it for occasional/social event shooting. For photography, go for the cameras...better/larger sensors, low light capability, more functions, etc...

I have also been to Huaqiang North Road, where there are many technology companies and large shopping malls.I've visited public parks in SHENZHEN and was amazed at how clean they look. No litter or graffiti anywhere... even the skateboard rink looks clean. And there are lots of people out there enjoying the parks... but seem to have respect for the facilities there.The greening of the city is very good, and there are many electric cars on the street, which proves that the Chinese government attaches great importance to environmental protection.What impresses me the most is that life is very convenient, a cashless society, the subway system is very new and clean, and the people are very friendly.Other than some culture shock, I feel China is very safe. You can also go out late at night. In the US, I dare not go out at night, for fear that black people will shoot me.

I have to say this hardware especially with so many small subtle touches, is just beautiful. Really love the treatment of that display design. I hate curved displays but it looks like Huawei is giving users like me the best part of a flat display but sort of like 2.5D glass edges with a slight curve all the way around so it don't dig into your hand when holding it for a long period of time. Really thoughtful design.

Finally, I can get Huawei as my daily driver again after years they got banned. I was impressed with Huawei with their balanced performance and efficiency. Even in my country, 5G isn't yet spread widely, but I love using Huawei. The last Huawei phone I ever tried was the P40 Pro Plus. Great job on getting it so quickly, going by your viewer count there is great interest in this phone outside China. Thank you! The zoom camera appears to be using a smaller sensor than the P60 Pro according to a tear down video, despite both being 48MP 3.5X. The aperture is also not as good and takes a step back to what they had on the P/Mate 50 Pro. It's not supposed to be an improvement in the camera department over the P-series, so I'm not fussed about it. I'm really excited for the return of the Kirin SOC and the introduction of their domestic chip production. I think we will see rapid development from now on. It's a major achievement to produce a phone with their own CPU/GPU design and domestic 7nm process on the level of their previous Mate 40 Pro with Kirin 9000 on 5nm+ which used ARM cores and Mali GPU.

I don't think the signal strength would be that good this time around. Mate 30 pro and mate 40 pro were the peak, mate 50 pro not so much, even a downgrade in term of signal strength, mate 60 pro maybe just a small improvement over mate 50 pro as they've got a new design.

For a smart phone, I do not expect the P60 pro to be comparable to a dedicated zoom camera, but it does appear to be very capable under a lot of shooting conditions...It certainly can do much better than a lot of smart phones on the market....

I'm waiting for the start of sales of mate x5 and tablets on Kirin.even taking into account the old type of memory (ufs 3.1, not ufs4), optimization with Huawei's own processors is always much better both in the operating system and in terms of cameras

Larger aperture and bigger sensor. Better for portraits and zoom is also good enough up to 10x
It is just a smart phone...not a dedicated camera. People normally use it for occasional/social event shooting. For photography, go for the cameras...better/larger sensors, low light capability, more functions, etc...
