I never really noticed the Mongolian touch in the background of the desert explore music, but it just fits so well with the nomadic theme of the Nomads in contrast to the Arabic Hashishins.
The Nordmar themes also have Mongolian instruments! Great design choice. I love the lore, and also how the Arabs were taken and equated with a dark analogue of Ba'al/Moloch instead of following the traditional historical route of pertaining to monotheistic Allah!
