I so agree with you. Last year I went to Panama and this year I got residency. As a black woman I have never felt so liberated in my life and I have no intentions of ever going back to the U.S.
Where in Panama do you live?
That's my dream, and I want to move by next year.
Love it! 💃🏾
On my way to Panama-retired 🎉
What part of Panama did you choose.
*Black Women are giving up Stress, Disrespect, Combativeness, Envy, Limited Options, Dangerous Living Conditions (neighborHOODS), Poor Health Care, & Politics by moving abroad.* 🎉🍾🥂
Ooooo envy!! Is awful in USA however its everywhere more subtle in other places. I've lived outside USA 30 years. Wow!! Time flies.
don't forget anxiety and depression.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Spot on the truth.
BAD AND POISONOUS FOODS
Living in the US is like being trapped on a nonstop roller coaster ride in a country that thrives on violence, lies, no healthcare, and negative bias. Living in a big city eventually takes its toll, and I've tried to maintain a life here. And its not working. I want a better life, a prosperous life that's based upon the fact that I am human. I want nonstop peace of mind.
I remember watching an internationally made movie about children in South America migrating through Middle America to get into the USA. The English title was called The Golden Dream, but the actual direct translation is "The Golden Cage". That title has stuck with me all these years.
So many valid points! We as black women have held this country on our backs, and for what? As far as reparations, I’m not holding my breath on that at all. Black women we deserve better and this country has shown that it cares nothing about us, but have benefited off of our hard work. Do not let fear keep you from exploring other options, there’s more out there besides the US.
I know I’m not up on this crappy news but seriously .... is there some reason anyone would even be considering receiving reparations and factoring that into any actual life plan? And like Stephanie said, you’re owed what you’re owed. What would your location matter for your repayment? Maybe I’ve missed something? 🥴
Stephanie is right as usual. I am living in Costa Rica now and I will be flying back into the US to vote.
When I first started watching her videos, I had that same mindset of leaving the US. It’s no way Iam giving up what my ancestors worked so hard to achieve. Yes Iam speaking from the Carolinas to Massachusetts. Fast forward, never say never because Iam watching this replay in Costa Rica 🇨🇷. There’s a peace beyond understanding here and I just been here for a few weeks. I’m retired now and don’t have to go back.
Haha I love it! Good for you🫶🏾
I say don’t give up what you have in the states. Rent out your house to make money so you can live peacefully in CR if you haven’t already!
Saying this with so so much love, our ancestors would have preferred a different path. A path where they were loved and respected. Making a choice to leave is a choice they wish they had.
They are proud of you ❤ You chose a path that worked for you and was not forced upon you. Thrive friend
*It's Election Night 2024 and I'm listening to this again to bring me peace*
I'm tired of the United States. The black femicide in our communities and the lack of safety and high wages and good education is not good at all. I'm trying to be strong. 😔💔
I hope you're working on your exit plan.
I’m retired and leaving. I live modestly and I write. Just seeking the right match. I’ve done my best here only to get the boot to the face. Not playing the captive maternal.

Picking what establishment to enter based on its location amongst W people of a certain type is a real thing. I used to drive from FL to AL to visit my family there and I would always be wary about what gas station I was gonna stop in with my children because I didn't want any trouble.
Meanwhile, yesterday, I spent a large part of the day wondering around downtown San Jose, Costa Rica without a care in the world. I paid attention to my surroundings, but only in a 'big city' kinda way. I felt totally safe, and nobody was looking at me sideways as I went in and out of various shops. It was so freeing.
I got out and live in the Czech Republic now. My life is so much less stressful now, eating healthier, have top notch health care, easy transportation.
And have you become a true member of the community, culture, and language!!!! When you get that, life really gets sweet! I have lived in Europe since 2005 and worked for the governments of two European nations---life has never been so good.
One more year and I’m outta here!!!! I can’t wait!!!! I wish I could leave yesterday 🛫🧳🛃
America is my home, but I don’t feel like I’m owed anything. I’m so ready to go!
Edit: and let me just say, thank you so much for being a beacon of light for me to see a way out of here. You have no idea how thankful I am for you. May your blessings continue to overflow abundantly for the work that you’re doing, my sister

@@dawnmcclary6117me too. I'm coming up to 9 yrs living abroad and although it is not a fairytale everyday it's peaceful waking up each day without the drama and stress
Erica where you think of going to
I told my husband that I’m ready to start getting passports and start SERIOUSLY looking into relocating to another country because the shenanigans happening in this country and the direction it’s going is not a implosion I want to be around for nor do I want my children to be. I have ZERO expectations and have essentially given up on this system here. I don’t want NOTHING from them. I refuse to die here stressed, depressed, downtrodden, etc.
Get that passport. Don't wait. You don't have to have a fully fleshed out plan, but in every scenario, you gotta have your passport.
@@Kattywagon29 Exactly, I would advise everyone to have a valid passport ASAP, regardless of whether you plan to travel abroad now or later.
I used to eat lunch in my car just to avoid talking about work during my break 😩
Yes, I did the same thing, I ate in my car or say out in the gardens or seating area in the facilities I worked in….i also took my 1hr lunch. It was so disappointing how the younger group of clinicians stayed in the same area of work, are in 15mins, most times disturbed by others & go right back to work I think sometimes ppl let employers take away their quality of work…if there's such a thing???
I went to the Mall on my break, and thought my colleagues had a unique psychosis for having something to say about MY free time…
I do that 😅
I am 82, and left the USA for Queretaro in 2021, I traveled the world from age 20 to 79, yet kept my job.
Love this !! So happy for you!! Thanks for giving hope!!! I so want this for my life!
That is so inspiring ! What type of work did you do?
That’s amazing! What did you do?
I'm not a Black woman, but this spoke to me. I definitely feel that my ancestors suffered so that I can live my best life out of this country with the privilege of a US passport. This is my reparations. Freedom to leave and live a better life. It's not worth staying in the U.S. when it clearly doesn't want me there.
I understand what you’re saying and feel the same way, but don’t forget we were the backbones in making this country and we can never deny that.
@@sharont1209 Its no longer your job to keep it on your back. There was no agreement written for you or your descendants to be owed anything for your labour and sacrifice.
The quality of Black people’s lives would look so much better in the U.S if we worked together but we.. don’t 😅 it’s not about who doesn’t want you there it’s about being self sufficient & not having to ask anybody for anything like the Jews & the Chinese.
I took a job as an international flight attendant so I’ll spend a significant amount of time outside of the US. I feel like I’m getting one step closer to living abroad😊
Congrats to you! You are young, beautiful, and traveling the world. I call that WINNING, babe! I am proud of you, Sis!❤️

I thought of that but I’m afraid of heights. I’ll work AT the airport, not on the plane. 😅

Tina Turner said "Y'all can have it" She was not a dual citizen. She said nope, I'm good...she was a citizen of Sweden (I believe) and never looked back.
No, she was a citizen of Switzerland, and gave up her U.S. citizenship. She was way ahead of her time.

I think MONEY is keeping us here. If you don’t own your own business it’s difficult to take a remote position abroad. Most times it is forbidden. These other countries have low pay and may even have their own issues with racism. I thought about Budapest but not sure how to make that work.
What work do you do? Are you sure you can't find remote work. Libryia Jones is the remote work queen. www.youtube.com/@LibryiaJones1 A lot of women in my community are abroad now because they got a truly remote job they could do from anywhere. Don't count yourself out.
I agree that it is money that draws and keeps, most people trapped in the US. I think what many don't realize is that "extra" money they may be earning is quickly stipped away in taxes, utilities, food, health care...and the general cost of living. But what we really give up, as Stephanie points out, is our person hood. No paycheck can compensate for that. I found my dream in Mexico.
Especially if your not on the internet for income and prefer physically making your products.
We will receive nothing in the US. I'm still here out of ignorance LOL
No I'm not here to make sure the empire success I used to be when I was younger. I could change the world. Make it a better place LOL
It’s money, community quality of life, infrastructure with all this crazy weather etc…trading one bag of issues for another. Love to visit these countries and travel if possible in the near future living there permanently nah….
I will say I was surprised how many people in France asked me what I did for work. I had to explain it way more than I expected. Especially during that second year when I was no longer studying French. I think they were trying to figure our how I could afford to be there indefinitely.
Thank you for sharing this!!!!!.... I've been telling people this for years but FEAR is crippling. And especially now!!! I've lived out of the US for over 20 years, still have my passport, still vote, still visit family. Now live in Costa Rica. Stephanie, you are on point!
Not committed, and they could NEVER give me enough because it is not just money that is owed.
That's right.

Yep, I get it. I took a tour bus from Vegas to the Grand Canyon alone. I was the only black on the bus (there were a couple of Asians). They made a rest stop in West Hell NV, and as soon as I walked in, I was hit with confederate flags. I was thirsty and hungry; I'm glad I had a bottle of water with me, because I refused to spend one dime there. I just turned around and got back on the bus. I'm over it.
I had the experience of being one of two Black people visiting the Grand Canyon. A foreign woman literally angrily challenged me to move out of her way on stairs leading to one of the Canyon overlooks. I could not take the risk that she wouldn't push me over so I stepped aside. I still remember the rage and hate on her face. My country, but her right to challenge me. It's hell being Black in the US. But I've been other countries and discovered there are some of the same prejudices we endure here.
I'm definitely not surprised by your experience. I'm from Arizona and have worked on all rims of the Grand Canyon as a Black woman. So many stares, so many questions as to what am I doing there, etc.
Don't know which rim you visited? However, a town named Kingman is in the path of the Grand Canyon (west rim).
They had a sign (back in 2000) that said, "If you're Black, don't stop here." As I type this, they have a store dedicated to all things confederate.
I totally understand that anti blackness and racism are global. However, one doesn't have to worry about it becoming lethal. Like in the US.
This is equivalent to staying in a bad relationship just because you’ve been in it for a while already. And you think that person will give someone else the better version of themselves! It’s nonsense!
This is an excellent parallel. This is why we're leaving.
America is like an abusive boyfriend… and a lotta these girlfriends have Stockholm syndrome…. No way… I have not put up with an abusive man and I am not dealing with an abusive country…. No Way…. My eyes are WIDE open…. I’m awake now…. I am so OUT !!! Thanks for your inspiration !!!
This!!!! You hit it on the nail!
Fear of the unknown and my 92yr old mom is keeping me here.
@@ladonna2u742 Totally understand the aging parents part. You are not alone on that one. Fear moving abroad - none. My fear is remaining here.
There is a fear of the unknown where you are. I completely understand your parent situation, but when YOU decide to move abroad, YOU are making YOUR decisions on a daily basis.
I totally understand the parent situation. Especially if she is strong-willed. I tried moving twice with my elderly mother but she insisted on staying in her house. But you can hopefully move your mother with you.
Listen.....my mom is 79 and I already told her 4 years ago that if (or when) everything truly hits the fan that we are out! She relented last year and got a passport, something I never thought she would do. I have traveled out of the country, so I know I can survive and she knows this🤣. Please understand that when there is a will, there is a way. You are not trapped my sister. Just make a plan and stick to it. There is a large community of Black American women who are making these same plans, so there is no need to have fear of the unknown-you will not be alone ❤.
Take her with you! Your fear is healthy. The fear from getting pulled over in this country, is not.
I have the ability to move anywhere in the world and work from there. My husband does not. My mother is elderly and in care. I encourage any black woman/family to strongly consider finding a country where you’d be willing to go through the hoops and get permanent residency there. Even if you don’t decide to go permanently, having options is freedom!
My daughter and her husband just got stationed to Spain 🇪🇸 for 2 years…..
I got my passport appointment next week.,..
Her DAD said he not gonna go out of the USA 🇺🇸
LoL
I’m like you are only 56 years old; what is so bad about visiting other countries…. Ms. Lady you are a inspiration ❤keep up ⬆️ the good work
I agree, we're not giving up on what they owe us. But I believe we can move abroad and still get what they owe us. Black women, take your reparations from their stock market.
HELLO!!!! That's exactly what I'm doing. I have been investing long term (for the past 15 years) in index funds that track the S&P500, Total Stock Market and technology sector. I'm almost at my FIRE number... and that is the ultimate reparations that I gave myself! :)
Reparations and investments are worlds apart no matter what your feelings tell you
Thank you so much for this video Stephanie! I no longer want to participate in a country thats made to destroy us. There can be brighter days ahead for myself and my 2 kids and I look forward to watching more of your videos! Keep speaking your truth girl, for all of us Black women 👏🏿💖
Hi Stephanie. Catching you on the replay. I don’t foresee reparations ever being paid. I don’t think those who have left or those contemplating leaving have lost their voice. If anything it’s been heightened and is just as valuable. I have never thought of living elsewhere. I typically take two trips a year. I love traveling. It has always been good to me and good for me. It has been on hold since 2022 because my spouse suffered a medical emergency-stroke. I am excited about resuming travel in the fall of this year. It will start in Barbados. I was diligent in saving, matched my company’s contributions and was able to retire early. My husband is on the mend and so that wanderlust is calling. You, Roshida, and Adalia have been instrumental in me resuming the love of travel, nurturing oneself, and understanding and accepting that delayed is not denial. Looking forward to this years Exodus Summit. Last year’s Exodus Summit armed me with the tools to start a few side projects. The money has been great. Thank you for everything.
Some of these comments are reason enough to leave. 😂😂 these people are hostile. Why are so many people upset at a person choosing to leave America 😂😂
I love to travel and have started looking at places for longer slow travel. One of the things I made sure to research is the laws, governmental system, and economic state of where I plan to consider long term. I find most people miss those items and sometimes in ignorance they are blissfully moving somewhere without proper research. I am happy I have traveled and found a few countries I am interested in. Also, seems the benefit of slow travel is that as a 'vacationer' that is traveling long term is the best of both worlds.
15:41 Watch. This statement right here made me instantly start breathing heavy and shed a tear. Most of us don't even realize how much trauma we carry inside. 😭
Hi, For me I wonder, I wonder about the following things when\if living abroad:
Death, how is that handled?
Robbery or assault, where, what to do?
Rules and regulations, what are they, where can I find them per country.
Having these 3 things answered , is definitely helpful. Thanks, I’m loving this channel ❤️
I believe that white supremacy is global. While countries don’t mind a small number of black Americans living in their countries, ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE MONEY, but will that change as the numbers grow? I believe that it will. Also, many black women are not business owners or have access to remote work. A lot of foreign countries DO NOT like foreigners taking jobs from their citizens. In fact, some mandate that unless you work for an American company in their country, there are little to no work opportunities for foreigners. I have seen RUclips videos of Americans who moved to Spain, Italy and such and they talk about the racism they have encountered. Many of these countries love to boast about a famous black American who has settled in their country but the regular degular blacks, NOT SO MUCH. Anti immigration isn’t just an American phenomenon. Africa isn’t looking all that promising either. There has been some Americans who have met questionable demises there, especially when they acquire land. I know a lot of people who have no love for this country but they either don’t have the means to leave, cannot bear to leave family behind, or just don’t know if this move would be like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. I think there needs to be real honest dialogue regarding this. Because I’m not sold on this being a solution for many of us, given our economic and work realities.
Leelee, this is very thought-provoking and you speak TRUTH. I often think about this, too because I've been watching on what's going on in the Gambia with Black women.
I think we are programmed with a lot of limited thinking in the US that downgrades our value and what we have to offer. Though the challenges that you mention are very real if people worked on themselves and learned about their purpose here the sky is the limit. We spend too much time in our heads thinking about the process and barriers to moving instead of putting action to the things we say we want in life. A lot of black women are very creative and resourceful because we had to be but we use those strengths to benefit everyone else but ourselves. Every country will not be a good fit but if you aren't satisfied in the US there is a world to explore that could be better suited for you but you don't know if you don't try.
The anti immigrant sentiment in Europe is deeply historical. Just think about all the nazism!
You do have legitimate concerns. When I moved abroad, I just kept my eyes focused on The Most High and he made a way for me. I did have the advantage of VA disability benefits along with savings and investments when I worked in the tech industry. Just do research on a country you desire to live and pray before you visit and continue on from there. The answer will come to you.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Will definitely give consideration to what you said. But I still believe that a serious discussion about what obstacles may present themselves in doing this.
Stephanie I totally understand why you went farther away from the rural area.
Yes it's worth leaving. ✈️✈️
I've been watching you for a year now. You have inspired me and given me the fire needed to leave the 🇺🇸. I am looking for a location and building my business ao that I can walk away from this rat race! I am ready. We are not really living and thriving, only surviving. I am exhausted.
Those questions are relevant! There is so much more in this world beyond the 51 states!
I'm so grateful that I chose to watch, listen, and contemplate.
Thank you Stephanie 'cause dis here sista sho is tired! 😢
Anything owed will never be given. The sooner people settled this in their mind they can make a better decision about how they want to live their life.
I envy any black person who has the resources to move to a different country and a better life. I wish I could do that. Unfortunately, I do not have the resources. And at 65 I don’t see too much hope for doing so in the future. God bless those of you who can.
you can live well off social security abroad 😊
I am 68 years old and I left three years ago. Never say never you don't know what GOD has in store for you.
You can still go! Do the research 😮
Yes, my sister is in her early 60s. She has little retirement or other savings. I've been encouraging her to consider moving abroad because her money will go so much further elsewhere.
@@fdm2155 That's my main reason also
Stephanie u are sooo on point with this message. My cuz said to me a few yrs ago, she'd never leave because our ancestors paid such a heavy price and we're owed. I was stunned to hear that outta her mouth. I think we may be owed but that's a debt that will never be paid. Even if something was put in place, collecting it would be a never ending battle. They'd put it on paper but filling thru, I can't c that happening.
Thank u so much for addressing this issue. U and Rosheda rock!!
WS is global so leaving the US doesn't mean one is suddenly free from concern. However, women should leave if they want, just know the deal. I am a senior and will likely live out my days in the US. I travel a lot, mostly cruises, and so far it has worked for me. My favorite country is Switzerland but it has changed like much of Europe due to current events so it is no longer as easy as it once was.
not a black woman, but i'm flourishing since i left.
If I had a sisterhood where I was planning to locate, I would feel a lot more comfortable with the relocation. It would be great to have a community of folks navigating the same concerns and systems and figuring it out as a collective as well as pooling resources - like our ancestors did. If we supported this country to help ensure its success, we should certainly be able to do that for one another.
Any black men or black women that have the financial means to move from the USA should. The quality of life in America has decline sharply in the last 30 to 40 years. We should keep our American Pass-Ports and the USA money-currency is worth more in a lot of foreign countries.
I have never had that thought!!!! Hi I'm new to you channel because my husband and I are ready to go abroad. So I'm here to learn.
You and Rasheeda are both so thoughtful and strategic thinkers. I love this video, this is what I've been saying to friends about moving abroad. People feel like they're going to disappoint the ancestors if they leave. Mine are happy I relocated to Africa.
Believe me, I want to leave, badly!!! But money is what holds me back. I have no savings, I’m in a job that barely pays me enough to pay all of my bills none the less save to move. On top of that, debt that I’m still paying down, including taxes.
Add in that I do not want to go to a country that is “less expensive” but I’m coming with American Dollars and throwing their economy for a loop. I’m not an expat, I’ll call it as it is: I’m and immigrant. I want to be ethical with my travel and where I go. I have a dog, a house and a car, believe me I’ll happily give it up, it’s just scary with having no financial stability, the process of getting rid of those things and ethical travel is really hard for me.
Same 🙏🏾and we’re not all starting or leaving from the same “place”, some have decent savings, no children and/or anyone they’re leaving behind… we have to be honest it’s a selfish move to make but I don’t fault us for making it. I want to too. But can’t bring my school aged daughter and her entire network with me…
Start a side hustle to help u get more money : can u write? Coach? Sell second hand clothes online? Can you teach online ? Work more hours? Second weekend job? Cut your expenses? Learn a skill which can give u more money? We r creators just wake up that gift from God u ll be alright 😊. Blessings
Keep applying to better paying jobs. Sometimes your years of experience or company switch makes a difference.
I couldn’t agree more! I am saving and working on my language skills. Putting things in motion to make my move.
I love your positivity. I don’t plan on leaving the US but I cruise as often as possible! And planning a sabbatical next!

Ready to leave here! I wanna rent my house and o a friend and have him run the Airbnb while I look into Costa Rica! Me and kids have been twice, we stayed in Guanacaste. I rented a car and drive all around, went to the hot springs etc and we loved it there! I’m Jamaican and just learned that there is an area called Limon where my Jamaica Kim settled! I am itching to make a decision to move there even for 6 months
I can understand the comments about money and community, but I do tend to see most black women holding on the things, people, and some many excuses why they can’t think about THEIR wellbeing, health, safety. That is what I see, black women always put others first, it’s like it’s embedded in our DNA. And that will need to change so our next generations can live more and have more.🙂
Amen
I agree. Having a military father, I was exposed to travel and the world at an early age. Unfortunately, most Blacks didn't have such exposure. I went to school in another country and started college in another country.
Many Blacks are now traveling as adults. As for me being the "new girl" all the time, I learned to adapt to life outside the US. As a kid, in my teens and 20s.
Early exposure is key. Not just for Blacks but for anyone. Because when we age, we become complacent, and it's daunting to make huge changes. Like moving out of your country and learning another language.
Most Black women won't leave the US. Which is perfectly fine. However, I hope they are prepared for a "what if" scenario. As the US is sinking and sinking, slowly but surely. Everyone will not make it off to safety.
Another excellent video Stephanie. Clear, concise, to the point - the essence of eloquence. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you for providing this information. I am planning on relocating to Panama City, Panama, within a year and ten months and you answered some of the questions that I had.
This is so real. I never knew there were people who believe they'd get compensation for slavery. America has done nothing beneficial to black people and yet they have hope that they will???? Some people can never learn. This is like a gambler who keeps betting more money, hoping to win back the money lost. I can't wait to leave.
It’s truly sad. Never knew people even thought this was a thing.
Thank you for this post because this is the perfect metaphor for why the fight for reparations is doomed. I believe we will get the reparations the Lord in Heaven intends because His word never comes back void and is the only way those palm color people will pay what they owe. Meanwhile leaving the US with your sanity intact should be any practical black woman's goal.
The idea for reparations is not a new thing. They are what were promised to Black Americans immediately after Emancipation. Of course, the U.S. government reneged. Ever since though, Black Americans have been fighting for what is owed to us by this country.
Whether or not they are ever paid does not change the fact that they are owed.
Read Randall Robinson’s book, The Debt, for an in depth examination of the subject.
I’m not owed anything in America. Even if I was, I don’t want it anymore. Our country is basically just a big corporation and I’m tired and ready to clock out😂
I’m thinking about Italy because we’ve loved it there when we’ve visited.
How do you come to terms with leaving your family behind ? Or possibly not seeing them again if a war breaks out or something else like COVID?
This world is only getting crazier and more unstable and recent years with COVID, lockdown civil unrest everywhere, ever rising inflation etc have shown me what’s important to me. For me, I need a ready network of people in my life ... people I can run to ... and I don’t want to permanently be away from everyone who is a support in this mixed up world. I can take breaks and travel. I need to be able to get to my people.
For me.
I feel the same. I’m open to traveling, especially after I retire. But not to leave permanently at this time.
I’d love to contact ppl like you
I love this video. Your presentation is on point❤❤
This is good stuff Stephanie!!! 👏🏽.

"the 16% of (FBA) Black People cannot save the Country"
OF NOTE: 16%
People have a right to move for a different pace of life as well. You always talk about not being seen as just a worker but a well-rounded human being. America is just not set up to do the latter, and thank goodness we have options to go elsewhere.
Exactly right. 💗
Yep capitalism is eating us alive!
I thought about moving to the UK but unfortunately I have a fur baby that’s labeled a bully breed and they are banned. I’m still going to keep my options open for other countries though.
I hope you find the right spot for you both. 💗
I think what we have to also discuss is if this United States experiment fails, how will that impact our passports and funds in U.S. currency as a U.S. citizen living abroad? Because most of us aren't getting jobs in our newly adopted countries, although we could. And how many of us have some of our retirement funds in other currencies? This is the only reason why I'm still invested in the U.S. succeeding, but we don't have to live in the U.S. for that to happen.
I'm heavily invested in the U.S. market long term (via mutual funds and ETFs that track the indexes of the S&P 500, and total stock market). I need the U.S. markets to continue to do well, because it allows me to sustain my "American Dream," and have access to financial freedom. Additionally, there are many retirees who rely on Social Security. Stephanie doesn't seem to realize that many of us should care about the capital markets and the overall economy, (especially if you're invested in the markets).
Marvelous ❤❤❤
I left six years ago and gave up the following. Extreme cost of living, shootings, political craziness, racism, snow etc 😅
Well put. 💯🙏🏽
Excellent points! Thank you
Yeah, definitely dealing with sunk cost fallacy in thinking we've invested too much, given up too much, been robbed of too much to leave. One, I don't expect any justice on that front in my lifetime. Two, if a miracle happens, great! I know how to get in touch to collect what's mine. 😄😄
To any Black person from the USA 🇺🇸 feel free to come to the Caribbean islands just be ready for hurricanes and that’s it
Good video. Black Americans have no responsibility to “save” the country. You owe it to yourself to go where you are treated well and are happy.
Thank you for this, I do want to know how easy this process would be for a single person.
Wow, this is eye-opening!!. I thought about leaving somewhere else because of how we're treated in the USA. I teach nursing students and am not sure if can find remote jobs in other countries. Love your discussion!
Thank you for this post! Time to GET OUT!
Good Morning!
Love your hair color Steph, I’d like to pitch for the summit this year, please advise
Please email hello@exodussummit.com . We haven't sent out a call for speakers yet, but we will soon.
I made a script to answer the questions that I get from family and friends. Why am I leaving United States?”Dr Martin King and Mr Malcom X and countless others, fought a good fight which is still being fought today. President Obama is still trying to gain equality which is the same screams from eras gone by and still we are given nuggets to aid in the economics. The struggles and fights that we may seem as a win is met with brand new unjust issues, or a decorated redesign of the social and economic issues that we as “people of color“ will continue to endure. So leaving this country is not running away from a fight. It’s why continue to fight an unending battle with people who have inherited hate, easily influenced by opinions; and facts be damned. You hate what you fear and you fear what you hate.” I love me and I hate no one.
The ISA passport is on its beginning of the end… I just bought a new construction home it’s nice but within 3mos I’m so ready to sell it an move somewhere outside of the US and never come back.
