How can the human brain process such insane movement and inputs? I can hardly keep up with the movement on the board, never mind not being able to see which pieces are next simultaneously.
The problem with having American commentators is that they always see the competition from the American side. Comments are consistently more excited and biased towards FS. It's always about what FS is doing and how his wins are amazing (one of the commentators here is a bit more balanced though). Get some variety in the commentating arena and it'll be less insufferable. Examples: 4:10 - "FS opted not to take the TSD but he could've survived if he did". He was literally 4 pieces away from completing that TSD. He wasn't able to make it on time - there was no 'option to take a TSD'. 5:40 - Literally only paying attention to FS's board. What about cz's defense? What about the misdrop that they'd so willingly point out if FS did it? I'm not even cherrypicking, the whole game it's "wow look at what FS is doing". 6:50 - "FS getting it with the TSS there" instead of mentioning cz's misdrop with the I. 7:18 - Literally just sounds like commentator is projecting "cz should have died there". Note the stark contrast to "FS should have survived there" at 4💯 Anyway that's my rant. I want to watch these tetris matches but gotta watch on mute bc of how much the commentating sucks.
do you think solving puzzles can be fun? now imagine solving 4 puzzles a second, each one need to be optimized to do the most amount of damage in the least set of keyboard inputs so you can solve more puzzles faster

That's not the problem with nationality but the problem with how instinctively humans always want the underdog to win
