Las Vegas Adventure 2022 (Blu-ray/Dvd and Toy Hunting)

Our video going to Las Vegas for a few days to see all the things we places we can see and look for Dvds, Blu-rays and retro toys and explore all around the Vegas strip and much more.
Some of the things I checked out while I was in Las Vegas were:
- Record City
- Zia Records
- The Buffet at the Belagio
- Las Vegas Strip and downtown Vegas strip
The only experience I've ever had with Las Vegas is rewatching 'Casino' a million times. I've noticed movie stores are WAY better out there than what we have in the east coast.
The lights and street fairs are a diversion to rattle your attention so that the space zombies can sneak up on you. And that's the good part about Vegas.🤪
Zia is awesome! I remember spending about 2 hours there when I first went to Vegas in 2015. Glad to see it's still around

Great fun video !!! The Maroge hotel was just sold to the Hard Rock Cafe and they’re going to replace the volcano with a guitar. How lame. We have 5 Zia records stores here in Phoenix which I love and I knew they had just moved the stores in Las Vegas so it was fun to see footage of that also. it’s a shame your video ended and you weren’t able to show what you picked up from all those stores if anything. I thought filming inside a casino was a no-no?

Oh and I love "Delta Delta Die" I remember finding that in Borders Books and Music! They used to get a lot of rare titles too. Another store I miss.

I live in Vegas and I love Zia records to death and I used to go to buy backs before it closed but Zia is the closet thing to Amoeba
Great vid Shawn. stayed in the Excalibur a few years back...good hotel. I do drink and gamble but not massively, and I went to a gun range to try out one of their submachine guns.....I definetly recommend doing this even if you're not generally into guns (which i'm not). Also the rides on top of the Stratosphere are pretty damn good too!
btw I never realised that BTTF2 took the Plaza as an inspiration for the film. It's probably my favourite of the BTTF series and one of my favourite films of all time too. did they film those external scenes at the Plaza itself or did they do a mock-up of it somewhere else?

Back in the day they had a huge Virgin Records store in Casear's Palace I remember finding a lot of rare Movies there. Next time I went to Vegas after that I was so excited to go back there and found out it was gone I was so sad lol.

My city! I was spoiled for a bit with many buybacks now they are all closed. Zia Records relocated a few times. Hopefully they never close.

Hey Shawn, do you ever feel like the whole hunting down for rare DVDs and never before seen or out of print copies etc. are outdated in todays physical copy collection hobby? I feel like collecting as evolved that we no longer have to search for those rare movies anymore. Would love to hear your thoughts.
