Nonono it’s an actual ballpen that appeared several times in the show, including the very last scene. It’s a super heavy foreshadowing about why the last person who held the pen was the lucky one
i literally came RIGHT back to this after watching episode 11. IMAGINE if you were a fan watching from the very beginning and listening to these dramas each week, jesus christ. the work they put into this whole project is truly astounding. thank you (again) for your translation work!
OK so I'm going to try and figure out what each member's answers were based on what we know. MAJOR SPOILERS obviously if you've not finished the show yet: First of all we know that Nikaidou's big secret is obviously the dumping the body one, and her small secret is dating a comedian. We also know that "Mitsuya's" big secret is having killed someone. I also believe that the 'sugar daddy' one would be ichimura's, refering to kakihana, since the time of this occuring should be around when she starts 'dating' him but doesn't know he's actually broke yet. I'm not entirely sure whether she'd consider that a big or a small secret, but I would guess that she considers it a big secret. If we assume that we know all the big secrets then, that leaves the small secrets for Ichimura and 'Mitsuya'. Out of the remaining options; Plastic surgery, Couch casting, Being married, Bad-mouthing another member and 'Incense sticks', the ones that most stick out as lies to me are the couch casting and the marriage. It seems unlikely that either of these would be true without at least being hinted at in the show, and I don't remember anything that suggested either of these to be the case. Additionally, 'incense sticks' is a joke and was probably counted as a lie, I would guess from 'Mitsuya', who I could see having the twisted sense of humour to out a joke in along with a literal murder confession. Given this, we're left with plastic surgery and bad-mouthing another member online. I think that the most appropriate assignments for these would be plastic surgery being 'Mitsuya's' and bad-mouthing another member being Ichimura's. My reasoning behind this is that Ichimura seems more like the type to vent her frustrations online that the psychopathic 'Mitsuya' who would likely do something much more drastic instead. Additionally, Ichimura's family is poor and probably could never afford plastic surgery whilst 'Mitsuya' said she'd do whatever it takes to become a successful idol so I don't think plastic surgery is out of the question for her. Considering everything I laid out above, here's what we end up with, in order of lie, small secret, big secret: Nikaidou: Couch casting, Dating a comedian, Disposing a body Ichimura: Married, Bad-mouthing another member, Sugar daddy 'Mitsuya': Incense sticks, Plastic Surgery, Killed somebody I don't really have much reasoning for putting the two other lies the way round that I did, other than I think that couch casting is a much darker lie and more fitting for Nikaido's personality than Ichimura's. If anyone has any information that confirms or refutes any of the speculation I made in this comment then please let me know :)

2nd one and i'm already in love with this audio-drama thing, what a curious thing to add to an airing anime. Thank you for putting the work and sharing it
Thanks for the translation. This has been very interesting. I'm guessing the calm girl the one who is not dating the comedian is the killer for some reason.
So at least one girl is selling herself with a sugar daddy and or couch casting, and another is a murderer or at least an accomplice. Someone is gonna waste their lottery money big time, once this comes out he will regret things so much.
I always find these podcasts of Satoshi’s from Twitter and I can’t seem to understand them. Now, I can thanks to you. Like sincerely. Thank you for this wonderful job.
"I killed someone." This could mean the new black cat killed the old member and took her place. I also think she is the only one with motive besides Nikaido, who we know didn't do it. Yamamoto could have, but it doesn't seem like his character, based on what we know.
one think i though was interesting was in the sub it says Yano says that Mitsuya looks like she'd been strangled with a belt and then we also she Yamaoto try to strangle Odokawa with a belt though I don't know only real reason I could think he would do it is because he knew Nikaido might try to kill her and didn't want her to be the one who did it so he did it though I suppose that seems all convoluted.
@@otterino1419 I just had a weird thought, what if Yamato is the sugar daddy to fake mitsuya? So when fake Mitsuya bludgeoned the real one, she panicked and called him over, and he finished the job to cover everything up?
I think this audio recording was taken on the same day Nikaido met Baba before he appeared on the TV show (I forget what episode it was in the anime). this can prove that the original Yuki Mitsuya is dead, and the voice recorded in the audio as Mitsuya is Sakura Wadagaki. Because they haven't known each other for a long time, they finally made a game about lies which turned out to be a clue to some of the mysteries in the anime
Excuse me, could you reupload episode 3.5? I know that video got copyright, but i want download it. At least on different youtube channel. Ah, and also episode 9.9
Nikaido was the one who proposed the game! The transcripts on the fanwiki (linked in the video description) list the speakers so it might be clearer if you read that!
black cat is couch casting + plastic surgery. calico cat is bad mouthing college + sugar daddy (monke looser?) dog is dating comedian + killing/dumping a dud (she didnt lied with any of her 3?) dead person potentially found in ep 7? --- incense sticks and married probably the lies of either of the 2 cats.
Spoilers for later episodes but this is what I can gather from the latest episode Rui Nikaidо - I have a sugar daddy - true - I'm married - false (by virtue of dating comedian being true) - I'm dating a comedian - true Shiho Ichimura - I bad-mouthed a group member on the internet - I killed someone - Incense sticks Yuki Mitsuya - I had plastic surgery - likely to be true, since she does badger games - I'm doing couch casting - I dumped a dead body - most possibly true

I think it goes more like this: Rui Nikaidо - I dumped a dead body - probably false - maybe Yamamoto took care of that - I killed someone - probably true - I'm dating a comedian - true Shiho Ichimura - I have a sugar daddy - true - badger games - I'm doing couch casting - probably false - I had plastic surgery - probably true - she considered herself ugly when Yamamoto explained why she and Yuki needed to use the masks in the concerts Yuki Mitsuya - I'm married - false - I bad-mouthed a group member on the internet - probably true - based on the interaction she had with Shiho when handling the phamplets outside the concert - Incense sticks - ?
Wait holy shit. "I killed someone" "I dumped a dead body." These are way more important than I thought

SPOILERS FOR EP 13!!/////
"I dumped a dead body." "I killed someone." It really did all come together...
