- MK1 had another patch recently... one that completely nerfed Mavado. The issue with this, is that Havik/Mavado was the best strategy for Havik. This is the THIRD TIME that they've indirectly nerfed Havik. RIP Mavado :(

@@likenoother6561 Idgaf about the percentage I just hate how the devs don’t listen to the community. We’ve been asking for Khameleon to be fixed but they nerfed Mavado instead when no one asked for it.

Havik's whole entire being in MK1 is a big giant nerf, his moveset is a nerf, his story is a nerf, his design is a nerf, he's not even really Havik but rather Dairou...the life of a Havik main must be rough...

NRS is nerfing stuff like they are competing in these tournaments and changing things to give them an edge in winning.
I was just starting to have fun again with havik/mavado😭. My best hope is homelander atp and most likely not because hes most likely gonna be a zoner and i dont wanna do that. One can pray tho🙏

@@djcantskate3883 1 bar 2 kameo. I don't see many Havik players do it. B22~BF1, DASH F4~BF1~NINDROP, J212~NINDROP~DB1, EX DB4. Hope my notation makes sense
@@MrRiyality I got it I play Havik too I was just curious cuz I always run Darrius. But that doesn’t sound like bad damage to me
@@djcantskate3883 it's still ok. But it's frustrating that most of the cast don't even try and the hit well over 400 and then there's our Havik with all resources used and can't hit 400.
@@MrRiyality I’ve accepted sometimes that’s just not what the character is made for. It’s fun to pull of that high 30s low 40s damage but I get my most consistent wins with him getting consistent high 20s low 30s combos into a set up where I just fish for it again. It’s mad in the corner too. Using his secret extra range moves and plus frames is always useful too so this isn’t a big hit to Havik imo especially if the combos are still fully doable just scale a little more
This felt like a last-minute panic-patch before combo breaker. Shao really got Havik nerfed.

God I PRAY this video gets shared enough among the FGC for Mortal Kombat because I have never heard a single take on the absolute state of this game as real as this one, and I cannot myself elaborate on how frustrating it is the way that you have. Please don't stop making content like this. NRS be tweaking and the worst part about it is how they neglect their community. Nobody can put them in place because they don't bother to really acknowledge what fans and avid players desire to see in the potential of this game. We are the ones making this franchise as successful and engaging as it is, and it's like they don't care whatsoever. From the start it has felt that way. I remember their first patch when they made a poll for a list of improvements or changes that the community would like to happen most, they disregarded it completely and made their own separate decision. I just dont understand it. Literally the first thing I thought when I found out about Mavado's nerf through a HoneyBee video was that LITERALLY NO ONE ASKED FOR THIS. When this new kameo first dropped kinda made me hopeful for the future of this game ngl. Now I just don't know what to think anymore because as time goes on and the more they add to this game as far as characters and costumes you have to literally pay for, I doubt they'll ever go back and ACTUALLY FIX the mistakes they've made, starting with Cyrax.

Ive resigned myself that Havik will never get a buff of any kind. What imo would make MY GAMEPLAY more fun, and would only FIX issues.....they need to give Haviks projectiles PRIORITY!!!!!! All of his projectiles loose to every other characters on the roster. Even when you spend bars!!! Thats not cool, imo that would be the only "buff" i could hope might actually happen some day.

If you use jax you can do the same thing with mavado by doing back 2,2 back forward 1 forward 1,2 (jax kameo at the same time as f1 then down back 1 into tether or down back 4 :)

Day 1 Havik main and at this point I'm more than convinced that NRS would sooner buff raiden back to season 1 prime and close down the game then buff havik. Dragging this character to Elder god every season is becoming more of a challenge and chore every season

But you can finish any of those combos with two bar roll and get guaranteed 70+%
There one way nrs can fix havik entirely just buff him don’t give him one kameo he has to relia on give the character havik a buff
Other characters need kameos to extend combos. Havik needs a kameo just to end a combo. The only character that helps out his damage is now nerfed. Lol

All this is doing is turning more and more players away. As if fighting an army of Havik players doing the same exact combo strings wasn't annoying enough they go and nerf Mavado and Havik.

see, ever since mkx, they started going apeshit on the fun factor. sure, mkx was hardly balanced, but it was fun. in a game where everyone was busted one way or another it created the illusion of balance while also being fun. when mk11 came, holy shit. everyone sucked ass on the roster, apart from like 3 characters who instantly became top tier. they sucked the fun out of that game big time, everything was punishable, nothing was + for free, there were no mixups whatsoever except for like an overhead or low string ender that was fucking unsafe aswell. that game was nothing. now, they fixed a lot of issues mk11 had, but still their attitude towards fun doesnt change. see, khameleon is not fucking fun at all. i hate playing her, she s completely random, i like having a stable and set gameplan. but mavado? holy shit he was, still is, amazing. but they seem to not allow us to have too much fun at all. having fun comes at a cost in this game more-so than ever before, you lose a 100 health and he does shitty damage for the simple appearance of the fun factor. that shit sucks

Its a very negligable nerf indeed. nothing to cry about
2 percent is a LOT in fighting games. I was in a fight with my friend. He was using General shao movado. After his combo ended, I was on critical health. He was still at like 70%. Fast forward a bit of time, he had to use his back kameo to ty the round just so I wouldn't get the match. If they didn't nerf him, I would have died from that combo, and it wouldn't have been a close round in the slightist. I almost had the come back of a life time because of that nerf.
In a game where chip kills and is so prevalent, 2% is monumental.

Early impressions Id say good. You WANTED the unblockable string to do almost 40%?. Havik needs help but making him a braindead one trick pony isnt the answer either
And if you're wondering yes iv been playing havik movado since he came out. This will still be one of the better kameo combos in the game
Honestly good, that Shao Mavado nonsense was BS. I'm a Mavado Ashrah, and haven't noticed much.
But yes, chameleon is the kameo they need to nerf. The overhead-low ball roll is ridiculous.

Ideally Ashrah should always have a kameo with projectiles or she'll get zoned and turtled.
But honestly that's how I felt about Baraka. It was really annoying they kept making him worse. I feel ya. My life vastly improved when I moved to Ashrah (and I became #1 demigod worldwide..).
Learn Ashrah. The quality of your life improves when you do.
