      Maverick Majorani : Does sum it up nicely. Trump refuses to say anything, because he knows who his voters are. They aren’t all Nazis, but all American Nazis are Trump voters. Trump’s a racist, but he’s never had any, “ideology.” Trump cares about Trump, that’s it. He thinks his current rank makes him a special man, but his failure to be a man, merely devalues his rank. Nazis become Nazis out of self loathing, and they are able to lose their identities within a group, which therefore, becomes everything. A fresh start, where your criminal record, drug abuse, wife beating, whatever, are put aside, and they’ll give you a uniform and a, “rank.” Beats taking responsibility, and doing it the hard way, right? The weak, preying on the weak, and then victimising the vulnerable. Scum, in other words. Simply cannot be tolerated, but Trump will find a way to do just that

Also, don't judge all the people below the Mason/Dixon, there are a LOT of different kinds of people with a variety of beliefs and actions here. @@JustTheTruth-Please - I'm well aware that there are many people in the south who aren't racist. All I'm saying is racism is more prevalent in the south which was the reason the Republicans developed the Southern Strategy back in the late 20th century.

      @ashroskell 5 лет назад

      Mark Green : The last time the Dems had any such, “Southern Strategy,” was when the Kennedy’s put LBJ on the ticket with Jack. Indeed, that was why he was there, and why they disliked him, primarily. Because they saw him as an apologist for the racists, at best. After LBJ, all such toleration of racist attitudes were abandoned by the Dems. And, the Reps were, eventually able to capitalise on that shift, as you point out. The pity of it was, there was a brief moment, post Nixon, when it looked like there might be a joint stance, from both parties, rejecting racism, wholesale, and outright. But, it came to nothing, because the money men from Texas were all moving into politics and finding a home in the Republican Party. And, because they were saying one thing, and practicing quite another. The Reps have never been straight dealers since the 70’s, and they’ve slowly crumbled, in ideology, values, and quality of leadership, ever since. Until, one day, we hit rock bottom, with Trump. Now, the only way is up. Or, to just wallow in their own shit? Watch this space, I guess? . . .

    This dialogue has great insight into what really is going on and the solution is going to come from those who really understand the issues we don't want to talk about (ie. Christian in this video) - not just from those who want to have 'spread awareness'- type of dialogue. The dialogue in this video is meaningful - engaging with those who have a real-life understanding of the problem, not what we like to assume the problem to be.

    • @jvsnyc
      @jvsnyc 5 лет назад +3

      Yeah, like, here, for instance, hate isn't at the core of what brought him in, at least. I most definitely already saw fear and depression and anxiety as major triggers, tho, this seems to support that thesis.

    • @justinandrew4388
      @justinandrew4388 5 лет назад +2

      @@jvsnyc You are right - self-hatred is what led him down that path; not hatred of others.
      Remember though that anxiety and depression are often a result of self-hatred - this is NOT to say that anyone who is racist has clinical anxiety or depression.
      This is a common misconception of our society - ie. anyone who is extremely racist, or can potentially cause harm to other people (e.g. shootings) are automatically labeled as having a mental disorder. This is NOT (always) true, and we must be careful here.

    • @ashroskell
      @ashroskell 5 лет назад

      jvsnyc : You become part of such a group, so as to rid yourself of the, “self.” People hate themselves for all kinds of reasons. But, Nazis promise you a future in which your criminal record, mental health issues, drug abuse, whatever, will be forgotten, and your identity is that of the group, with no individuality at all. Hell, they’ll give you a uniform, a rank, a gun, and actual authority, which beats the hell out of owning your mistakes and being responsible for your own life. Nazis are the weakest minded, most malignant cancer in society, preying on the weak, and targeting the weak. They must not be tolerated, in any way

    • @jvsnyc
      @jvsnyc 5 лет назад

      @@justinandrew4388 Yes. It is a common misconception that they always have mental disorders. It is quite common, but not universal. I would say that most well-adjusted racists will content themselves with whatever level of workplace discrimination they can get away with, stupid jokes at the expense of hated groups, etc. and is less likely to see how many of them they can kill before the police show up.
      I think a common theme tho is that more stable racists or other haters tweet and post and quip about how bad members of these groups are, and then the less stable people who identify with the same ideology, fear or hate pick up their cache of weapons or bombs and go do something about it. I think that is almost tautologically true. Furthermore, at this point they should be well aware that they are fueling these actions, and the responsible thing would be to recognize that they don't want to be part of that continuum that causes these things.
      It certainly isn't limited to hate and the mentally unstable. If as a vegan I wish there was an all-vegan fast food burger joint, and I keep posting about it and getting people to re-tweet it, some ballsy person is going to get together the funds they have lying around or can acquire and open a vegan burger joint. I am less responsible for your newfound ability to obtain a vegan bacon cheeseburger at 3am than the lady who actually started the restaurant, but if enough people read and replicated my message that "Hey, we should be able to get vegan burgers!" I can feel partially responsible.
      In general, words have consequences, because when a message gets repeated enough someone will act on it. Those consequences can be good or bad, the messages can be positive or hate-filled, and the people acting on it may just have better opportunity, more guts, or if it comes at a huge personal cost to them, a mental disorder or lack of judgement.
      Anyway, there is a lot to be aware of, and a lot of different special cases but some general patterns in sociology and psychology that every caring citizen should be aware of despite not being a professional in these fields. This is due to the enormous consequences of the sum totals of us voicing and repeating different opinions. That Trump so often comes as incredibly close as he does to calling for direct violent attacks on his enemies, e.g. a free press, by mentally unstable supporters overflowing with anxiety, fear, displaced anger and self-loathing, makes for a particularly dangerous on-going situation. We are becoming numb to the bombing attempts, mass shootings, etc. which result, but we must not. The dog-whistles of yesterday have become air-horns.

      @Khristopher MGTOW I've seen a lot of these so call, "MGTOWS" online trend for a while, but they're a bunch of wannabe misogyny group of men and they give off a (borderline) Incel behavior.
      A lot of the hatred use MGTOWS as a backdrop to spew their sexual objectification and hate onto women all in for "men's rights" movement or they call themselves "red-pill", especially since they attack Western feminism. And vice-versa for feminist who are misandrist - It's the other side of the same coin.
      But look, I get it. Not all Western women are feminist. The MGTOWs act as if ALL of western women are the problem and divorce laws are always in favor of them. And in relation of my top comment that these Alt-right/nationalist lean sides with MGTOWs.
      A real MGTOW would be like a Monk if you really want to go "on your own way" and reach nirvana, peace, financial independence, etc. Leonardo Dicaprio is the perfect example. He's moderately Liberal, since Leonardo cares so much about Climate change and probably other parts of humanity, and he lives a free life, and he can date as many women as he wants since he's very well off in wealth.
      The real MGTOWs don't go and shit on Western women. There are many women who are not feminist or radical, but MGTOWS will group all of the women altogether in resentment.
      And finding a women overseas in Eastern Europe or Asia to get with your female counterparts who can't speak a damn lick of English isn't the answer either to get laid or finding someone subservient or mail-order brides. That leads to more dysfunctional families because of communication and cultural problems and possibly leads to more divorces.

      @Khristopher MGTOW Yes, I agree with that the courts can be harsh on men, but every court case is still uniquely different. My friend's brother-in-law went through a divorce too, but he had a well verse female lawyer in her expertise. And the judge decided to make it 50-50 for child support. To sum it up, he would have been paying 70% of child support, with an option given 2 days a week to only see his child. Although, he doesn't have full custody, but now he can spend much more time with his daughter.

      2. It is obvious that these chants we're definitely rehearsed and practiced repeatedly. While precisely fitting the media narrative.
      3. Another major clue that they are actors is they do one thing random people do not. They do not at any point, look at the camera! Actors are trained not to look at cameras while the average person almost always will.
      4. If they truly were a Grassroots white supremacist group they would not be willing participants on CNN. They would already understand that CNN would paint them in a very negative light.
      CNN even uses footage of a supposed racist willingly following a CNN cameraman and again he doesn't even look at the camera.
      5. Even if a group was anti-Semitic the chant "Jews will not replace us" is still very illlogical as Jews have not been replacing anyone. The chant doesn't even make sense.
      At this point if they said "the French will not replace us" makes the same amount of sense.
      6. CNN has used the same 10 seconds of footage so many times they are trying to get their money's worth.
      Not to mention if there was a real March they would have plenty more footage to show. And not have to recycle the same 10 seconds.

      @Poop Brain, i have been there and he is correct and you are correct, there is a group dedicated for Identity Evropa for Ohio and i live in Ohio and i can personally tell you these are some of the dumbest fuckers on the planet. Most are cowards, talk shit and then there are the ones who feed upon the cowardly shit talkers and goad each other into action. The one thing they all seem to hate though is seeing a white woman with any non-white person, that really sets them off. They complain about how "black", "brown" and Asian men are taking their women and the women who date these "mud" people (as they call it) are whores or slags (dont know what that means), and if something is not done about it, there wont be any more white babies, its comical and sad all at the same time.

    Just like with criminal gangs, a search for love and belonging is often what leads people into the world of hate and violence. In a world where many young men are fatherless, and where morality is in flux, the risk is much greater. Also, when young people see the adults on TV acting crazy with political division or bombing foreign countries all the time, they don't see us as good role models - or hypocrites. We all need to make a better effort to speak to each other instead of staying in the echo chamber - and we especially need to think about how our young people interpret our words and our deeds. Peace.

    He's touching on a much bigger problem in our society. Parents are so busy trying to make ends meet that time to show a path & purpose to our kids is not there anymore. These amazing programs for children always seem to pop up in societies which abuse them (HJ under Hitler, free Youth programs in East Germany, etc.) Why can't we have those during peace times in our great democracies? Kids are the future!

    There are two types of damaged people.
    1-THE VICTIM: the one who blaims others for their problems. These people tend to simmer in their own misery.
    2-THE WARRIOR: The one who acknowledges their flaws and mistakes and consistently tries to become better.

      Okay. This makes no sense. I'll extend my comment towards this entire debate. This DOES echo the same narrow-minded, bully rhetoric that only people who lack empathy, patriotism/community, or coping skills to their own trauma spew as a belief.. but it DOESN'T understand that being a victim is not a belief system, it's a defined term that has no bearing on this blind, anti-victim logic. How do you know when someone is blaming others for "their problems" or just acknowledging "their flaws"? You probably think they're just "blaming others" when it's someone experiencing trauma or harm from something you don't understand, makes you uncomfortable, or don't care about. Regardless, both of these notions are fundamentally flawed when we're talking about victimization.
      To be a victim of something means to be the subject of another person or entity's actions, regardless of whether the harmful or trauma experience was explicit or unintentional. You're confusing how a victim handles their trauma or harm (including more complex, non-physical forms of harm like psychological, institutional, economic, etc.). There has to be another entity involved. Admitting "YOUR flaws and mistakes" to better yourself is something completely independent from being a victim of something and having to learn new ways cope and resolve issues that stemming from external harm. Trauma and harm are complex, and no one can understand how another person is effected by it since everyone experiences trauma differently, and more importantly, some people develop better coping skills than others while growing up; therefore, some people can handle certain traumas more than others.
      In our system, we learn how to cope with trauma or harm by reaching out to others--friends, family, professionals, doctors, counselors, authors, etc. There are also many forms of trauma or harm that cannot be resolved without outside assistance--an emergency room or psychiatrist are just two obvious examples. Just because I've never been shot or inherited schizophrenia, I'm not going to bully those who experience it just because I've had to listen to them express how they're making sense of it or asking for help from it. Less extreme forms of harm that people become victims of shouldn't be scrutinized just because you don't care or understand what it's like, especially in a capitalist nation that is vehemently known to battle with not knowing how to ask for help. Until more education is offered for coping mechanisms during our development stage, this will only do damage to damaged Americas just for the sake of being damaged.
      For many, asking for help is a function of their coping skills (or lack thereof) that this rhetoric seeks to silence, which only perpetuates victims suffering. We get it, you hate having to hear other people's experiences, and aren't accustomed to identifying how people express trauma or suffering when in need. Spreading this shit will only guarantee you'll be minorly inconvenienced more often with others whose trauma will keep rising to their consciousness until someone or something can help them work past it. Many would argue most coping skills require some interaction--with friends, family, or community since oftentimes the process of identifying and overcoming victimization can be easily understood through taking inventory of what you need the most assistance in resolving and bettering yourself from. Although knowledge and information, I think, can offer people coping skills, humans are social creatures and talking to a friend is often a way to expedite what you're experiencing. This "just get over it" mentality comes from personal ignorance, not people who just want to complain. There are those that do just love complaining, but in actuality they're much rarer compared to those actually working through their trauma.
      Using the coping mechanisms you've developed as a badge superiority to scoff and bully at others who are expressing help in unfamiliar ways or dealing with trauma you've never experienced doesn't mean you know anything enough to claim what all victims are like, let alone to speak on others behalf. I understand this fear from everyone that assumes people from the opposite political party or religious belief or side of the state (whatever makes them seem "other" or "different") is just a non-working cry baby or does nothing for society, and how that ends up informing wildly inaccurate and ignorant rhetoric like this. But this mentality is not only statistically inaccurate, it's just not present in the sweeping majority of American ideology. Surveying all American adults at all ages, again and again, have found people reject that they're apart of this group, but assume Americans they don't understand or like hold these beliefs. Filtering through the negative rhetoric being spread online to polarize and tear apart American communities, and information that is based on logical/statistical evidence to inform your opinion comes with the responsibility of knowing your role and rhetoric within your own community. Everyone can say whatever they want without knowing the consequences now, but that comes at a cost to yourself more than anyone else.
      This belief that people are just faking being a victim or only seeking to blame others for their problems is so wildly inaccurate compared to anyone you'd actually ever come in contact with and actually talk to. Especially when we're conditioned since kindergarten not express any victim qualities. Everyone experiences trauma and harm differently, and everyone is on a different path in recovery. Being "a warrior" is fundamentally not a type of victim. Victims must conquer their trauma, not the source of their attack. Simplifying this complexity may be where the root of this ignorance emerges from. We're free to hate everyone outside of our inner circle all we want, but this comes at a cost of having unchecked balances on whether you're using rhetoric that keeps polarizing Americans against each other based off logical fallacies and ignorance or not.

    He's right the problems are their own. Stick them in a crowd of similar people and they'll convince each other they're right. We need to set the example. I'm seeing similar behaviour from the far left and it's not helping. Forget sides and start treating everyone as an individual and a human being and hopefully it will be reciprocated
