13:23 I visited Divine liquors tonight. Picked up a bottle of Bardstown to read the mash bill, decided I didn't want it, went to put it back on the shelf and there sat a bottle of Buffalo Trace behind it, the only bottle in the store unless there are more hidden. I snapped it up!
I am so glad you made it to Island Wines. This is my absolute favorite store! The only thing better than their selection is the people. It’s too bad you stopped when Randy was on vacation. I am usually there for 2 hours talking with them every time I stop. There was a JMCB batch #20 on the island there this morning so they definitely do sprinkle out crazy bottles here and there. That Coppercraft pick of theirs is sooooooo good!
I liked both stores. Island liquor could not see the prices. Would be nice if you said what the prices were for at least some of the unusual hard to get whiskeys. I am in Iowa and would be nice to know if worth to drive 4 to 5 hours up there to see the stores and purchase some of the whiskeys I cannot get here in Iowa. I am subscribed to your channel as you are looking at stores I can actually get to in a days drive and back home.
I'm confused. Was the first stop in Minnesota? The title of the video says Wisconsin. That Gray Coast Irish Whiskey you saw at the first stop is my personal favorite Irish Whiskey. Sadly, I've never seen it on the shelf in Wisconsin though. Curious as to where you were. Cheers!
Triple Sonoma Finish and a Weller FP Store pick from that first store? Nice haul. I'm not huge on Weller but the FP is a nice bottle to have and I pick them up whenever I get the chance for $50-60. Goes great in a Manhattan. Weller SR is just dog bowl water tho.
Driftless Glen is 12 years old now. They have some fantastic rye picks out there. Mash & Journey club has picked real winners like Mint Caramel Dream, Kinosha Kickers, or Mexican Chocolate. We had an 11 yr 9 mo KC pick here that was actually a Beam product with cherry on it. Really good and about $50 for 120 proof. The ones that didn't quite make it to 12 year are great.
You can clearly see the guy holding the Weller Full Proof in his left hand at Devine Liquors. My guess is the owner gave them vip access to the “back room” but told them not to film it.
ECTB hiding with the wine bottles at 25:02. Look harder, probably a Stagg lurking deeper too😂
I knew I should have kept looking🤣

Everyone keeps saying that, I feel like I dropped the ball on that one. Just didn’t know enough about it.
@RareBarrel it's all good. You still found some bangers. Up here in Washington State you never see that bottle.
Nice work men. It's great to see some interesting options close to Minnesota.
Thanks so much!
The 3rd store was awesome! Would go back and scoop that redemption 10 year barrel proof rye and Penelope American light whiskey! Great hunt!
Such a great store!

Yeah we hit a stop at Big Liquor Warehouse in Brooklyn Park MN on our way over to Wisconsin.

Surprised you guys didn't grab the Penelope American Light Whiskey at the 3rd Store.
Would have, but we already had one!
Man I have been looking for the Redemption Rye 10yr. Looks like they had a few on the shelves.
Yeah that place was stocked!
You need to try that garrison Brothers Guadalupe! It's delicious!
For sure
