- Recorded this video when I accompanied my RUclips friend Mr Lim to BCA Aquarium to buy an arowana (I also bought 2 koi). This video is so long and I have spent a lot of time editing it . I hope my RUclips friends who love fresh water fish will enjoy it. Thank you :)

You need to keep more than 6 fishes to make arowana community tank. Can be 6 arowana or 2 arowana with 4 other large fishes.

donny lee Depending on individual arowana and your pellets size. You can read their body language to know if they still waiting for food but pellets will expand inside the stomach, feed bit by bit and enjoy the feeding process. don't pour too much and dirty the water.
U should get another two more koi 😂

I'm not expert in arowana just can share my thought 1) You must like the fish at 1st look 2) check for any defect on the body such as drop eyes, lower jaw too long etc 3) must be active swim around 4) baby red arowana colour darker better. 5) don't choose skinny fish. I will not choose those fish that avoid me when I go near.

Hello🤗No best food, must feed varieties of food to our fish. I feed it frog, super worms, prawn, insects etc.
His choice has a small white spot at the left part of back of the body which is not a good pick

@@wsmvin2042 您好， 因为新加坡的水是再循环用的，里面有加很多化学药物才能食用。换水一定必须加水质稳定剂去除化学成份。有些水质稳定剂也可用在新加入或运送中的鱼。地图鱼也叫猪鱼，喜欢躺在缸底。你别喂太饱它就会比较活跃来找食。感恩你观看我的影片。

I never keep arowana in community tank , don't want to mislead you. From what i know all fishes must be about same size and don't give them too much space to fight (tank a bit crowded).

@@divyakanthdivyakanth7915 wah! silver arowana can grow bigger than Asian arowana, you need at least 6 X 2.5 X 2.5 when fully grow. Most monsters fishes can keep but some cannot keep together e.g : electric catfish, red tail catfish. You can check with your local pet shop.

Hello, red aro around $700 to $1950 (price can talk...) depending on the size, colour, body shape etc. You need to have a 5 feet X 2 X 2 tank but for small arowana, 2 feet or 3 feet tank will do but need to change tank when it grow bigger. Some neigbourhood shop got sell smaller size below $500 can get but small not so stable. Take your time to choose.

Nicholas Lau If your house got enough space, I would recommend you to get 5x2x2 instead. Xback 4x2x2 is ok but red aro will grow bigger than xback unless you buying short body red aro. THAT AQUARIUM, TOH AQUARIUM and POLYART (Yishun outlet) some time can find good and cheap red aro (small fish no need to focus on the colour, the colour will change when it grow)
