I used to install this kind of stuff in Trucks at the IHC Truck Dealer. All kinds of project jobs. These Wabasto are a great answer to staying warm in the North American Winters. I really like the T-stat because the buttons are large and the rotary dial is a good feature.
you guys messed up. the intake needs to draw air from inside the bunk. Jockey boxes are always cold compared to the living space. so even when the temp is set low it's going to roast the driver out of the cab. because the thermostat is inside the unit and measures the intake temp.
The tap on the top of the tank looks a little fragile! They do realize that this truck is going to be used, right? What temperature is the heat coming out of the output side? Could you route it through the normal bunk system so that the heat comes out the normal vents? Or would that melt the ducts and stuff?
Are you having to drill the fuel tank without any way of getting the fileings out that fall inside? I would rather freeze my Balls than have metal circulating inside the block. WTF. Tap the F in fuel line. WTF.
