There are so many places that being sober gives you an advantage, but a party is probably the last place you wanna be sober. Sameeeee I came back high still and my parents were so drunk it was so funny
Remind me of the time that me and two other friends were chillin in the basement of their house chiefin off the pen. We decided to go to 7/11 to get some snacks and as we were in the living room getting ready to leave, my friend’s dad comes back home drunk af after apparently getting kicked out of a party for trying to fight someone. He had a flight the next day and was crying his eyes out about the thought of the plane falling. While his high son handled the situation, me and the other friend just looked at each other and were trying so hard not to laugh, but not because he was crying, but because of how it sounded. That shit had me giggling like a little girl, I had to go into the bathroom and close the door behind me to compose myself before coming back out and I could still see the other friend holding back laughter which made me wanna laugh again. After a few minutes, this drunk middle aged dad had 3 stoners talking to him about how it’s gonna be alright and that he’ll make it to his destination in one piece. Then we went to 7/11 and got stared down hella hard by a group of suspicious possible evildoers standing at the corner. One memorable night

As someone who’s usually the sober fella at a party, this is so true. But honestly I don’t really mind it’s still fun for me when sober until like 2.5 to 3 hours in, then I’m completely burnt out.

Weird! I actually feel the opposite, I love being sober when everyone else is drunk because I can be just as laid back and shameless as everyone else and not feel self-conscious, while still being able to drive, think clearly, etc.

Im the sober guy at parties but lemme tell you one thing. You can enjoy the time there even if everyone's drunk. I managed to know a girl which was a little drunk, but not enough to not be able to talk with me. We managed to get to know eachother nicely and we still share some laughs together nowadays. Also meeting someone else who's sober is such a good feeling
Being sober at a party can be boring, it can also be funny af. It just depends on if there are other people who drink but keep it low and the number of puking people....
Best thing is when you're at a houseparty and you drank a bit before but you're mostly sober at like 4 am with like 2 more people and in every room you look there's something funny happening.
Then you just hide some bottles all over the house this the next morning is even better.

As a person who didn’t drink in high school. I hated the taste of beer and I was a 6’1” 220 Irish German, beer was not gonna get me drunk. And I hadn’t tried liquor until I was in college. Being the only sober person at a party was kinda fun. Definitely led to some of my funniest stories

In Uni I took up sober duty at the parties every once in a while, and I always found myself having a good time. As long as people aren't shitfaced, I find conversations can get pretty deep because drunk people are alot more open than sober ones
