Run K1,#1 kerosene, and no smoke, little to no carbon monoxide, chamber will not clog up with deposits and will run efficient because chamber is not dirty. If you can get K1 at near price of diesel...get K1. If you can only get diesel, use the more expensive on road taxed diesel...off road diesel and heating oil will run dirtier and make smoke etc. Kerosene will also not gel up.
I'm still trying to find a better solution, for right now though, I come off of the heater with a small section of the 3" hose that was included, and then use this adapter: amzn.to/3RUoXhI
I'm looking at one for a truck camper. What about the fumes? Do the newer ones still have fumes inside the living space? I also have a CPAP and have some issues with fumes.
I have just purchased a diesel heater for my garage. Are there any issues (other than ensuring that the joints are gas-tight) with extending the exhaust pipe? Could I route the exhaust through a small radiator, to recover more heat?
There shouldn't be any issues to be concerned about. Yes, some people have used a small radiator although most people don't recommend it due to backpressue and condensation concerns. This is discussed a lot on the Chinese Diesel Heater groups on Facebook.
I can’t say that from personal experience yet, I can only say that there people out there that say they have over 2000 hours on one. I also know of some failures but the cause has not been determined yet.
Actually this folded gun type burner could also use gasoline or propane or almost anything flammable. It's mostly energy density and safety that points to diesel. They are also made for gasoline.
If you're talking about the diesel heater you cannot put gasoline in it gasoline ignites easier it would not ignite one time it would ignite before if you know what I mean
There is a difference in the 8 kW it has a larger burn chamber inside the plastic cover which gives it more heat surface to blow over Everything else is the same Same amount of fuel burned Just a larger burn chamber for the blower to blow over No more fuel is consumed same pump same glow plug same blower same tank
I have yet to see an axctual 8kw unit. I have seen people open them up and the exchanger literally says 5kw on it. The less reputable companies just use 8kw for marketing and it really isn't.

Hey thank you for the Amazon info, is any possibility to share the link in the adapter that you use for r unit to the 4” hose

As long as the exhaust is vented outside, or the unit itself is outside and you vent the hot air inside, you will not smell anything.

Thanks! But I don't do Facebook! 😳
How to make it run on 220V, can i use power supply for LED light ?
That’s a very common power source
I wish you added part numbers with your upgrades
Check out this one, I have all the parts listed in the description: ruclips.net/video/Q8Hl1fPJVlw/видео.html
@TrailTraveler great thank you very much
Are you saying the Chinese diesels will run 1000s of hours as well?

@@Poncho-zq4dy Old VW camper vans had a heater similar to the above as an option that ran on gasoline, German engineered so it was safe as could be.

how long can you do the exhaust pipeline@@TrailTraveler
@@TrailTravelermm is there a word to make it longer exhaust pipe?
@@kennethramsey7663 Ive seen some pretty long ones, but you have to make sure it slopes down to prevent moisture buildup.
Can it run on a 10 amp battery charger??
