I watched this yesterday. The trailer gives it more of an ‘action’ movie vibe than it is. It is by far the most accurate depiction of how insidious emotional abuse is. I watched my best friend BE Alice in our early 20s. If you have ever been touched by emotional abuse, this movie may actually be too hard to sit through. Be warned. I couldn’t drink my soda because my throat was so tight and anxious. It’s an incredible film - but it’s not a blockbuster. I do hope you go see it.

If you're saying that because he's abusive or you think he is, do not do that. You couldn't even fathom the pain and suffering you'd put your sister through by making her watch it alone much less with her abuser. And if she were to put this movie on and have him watch it with her... He will instantly think she's accusing him and it will lead to more and worse abuse.
Don't ever put someone in that situation. There are many ways to get your point across, this isn't one of them.
