I personally would put ash in S teir cause of his journey,funny moments,roasts, and all the episodes are just so freaking good except pokemon journey's i hate that series sm but what i will say is that i don't mind what teir he gets because i can understand any teir that people put him in because there are so many bad things that are valid about ash but also a lot of good things valid so for me i don't mind any teir ash gets

I went by how much i like the character, how good the anime is, and how good they are in my opinion. Ichigo feels bland and only sticks out because of the supporting cast around him (like Rukia, Urahara, yoruchi, and the captains), Luffy sticks out because of how goofy he is and his character depth as shit gets serious, and Naruto from how the trauma he has shapes him but doesn’t change him. Meli is just an annoying perv that only changes when he turns demon, and Natsu is a basic MC that only sticks out when other characters are around (like ichigo)
@@WhyDarkSky your personal opinion interferes in fair ranking. My favorite character is Natsu and I enjoy watching him more than other MCs.But objectively speaking Ichigo is best written. Meliodas and Naruto come 2nd and Luffy and Natsu would be last. But I can understand you, personal opinion interferes heavily when we rank the characters. We always put the characters we liked and enjoyed above others.

But there are issues yeah you just gotta see how Tite Kubo is fixing it now though ever since the first season of ended in 2012. Like for example the TYBW arc was rushed fast due to Tite Kubo's tight schedule over in Shonen and he was also sick at the time. Now the anime is the new canon using things from both the manga and novels. I would recommend you watch Bleach and give it a fair chance.
